The beauty of joining up as a member on this channel is meeting amazing people from all over the world. It's not always drinking, sometimes were freezing our ass off watching a sunrise on the top of a mountain in Chiang Mai, or meeting up for some Phat Kaphrao in little restaurant on a hidden soi. The flight giveaways are an amazing perk, but the friendships I have made is worth more than any flight. 🇨🇦 🚣♂🇹🇭 As I always say, I'm one more sleep closer till my return.

I used to live near Punnawithi BTS.... great area for local markets and restaurants. Always tell people to get out of the CBD and into the real Thai areas. It's awesome!

It's quite a channel and group you've built up over the past couple years. You know I subbed your channel basically at its beginning back when COVID first kicked off. Cool to see how things have progressed. This roof top bar is more my style than the crazy party scenes you see in most Thailand vids. I'm more of a chill and stare at the night sky kind of guy. 15 mos to retirement and your corner of the world is still on my bucket list. Peace!
What a great video and night! I met up with Joe, Greg, and Kevin at Det5 back in late June, had a great time there and at the live band. You guys are definitely solid!! I can't wait to have a Leo with you again!!!

This is what I love about your videos. No matter how big your channel gets you don't change. Your videos never become overly produced. It's always just you. Your emotion and your love of the country. Before Thailand wasn't on my bucket list of countries in Asia I want to visit because all I saw was the beaches and all the other tourist things you usually see, but you my friend - you are the reason Thailand is now in my top 5. I've worked and lived about a 5 minute walk from YR for nearly 7 years and haven't found the way in yet!!! (Haven't looked in earnest to be fair). Punnawithi is a great place to live though and just far enough away from the city to make it an oasis for great value accommodation. Great jib Chris.

Was just in Thailand for the first time. I am a Singha man myself.
I also go to a bar off of the E-11 BTS stop. It's a little further away and is also a Thai restaurant. Owned by a Thai lady friend of mine and her American boyfriend. Has a small roof top bar and has featured live music lately. It's up Sukhumvit 101 to Punna Withi 28 Alley. Roof top bar is small, but food is excellent.

When friends visit they like to do the tourist thing and see Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy. But I live in Punnawithi and Yellow Roof is my favorite for casual sabai sabai. The neighborhoods on the BTS south of On Nut (Bang Chak, etc.) are great living options and about 15 minute skytrain ride to city center (Asoke). Amazing Bangkok!

I wish I could come to Thailand for a while. I've been looking for another country to move to. I don't have a degree so I find it hard to find work in a country like Thailand. I hope some day I can make it there
I am looking forward to becoming part of this group. I am Toronto native. We are hoping to make our visit to Thai in 2024 for one month to scope it out and get an idea of where we'd like to call home base. Hopeing there are some musicians in the group and we put together a rockn RWFY band.
Some of my best nights out always include a drink at Cheep Charlies in Sukhumvit 50 also good night in Buddy's Bar and Grill on Sukhumvit 22.
