The cam to rad. Not producing enough vacuum for the brake booster .

I have a 1973 Camaro LT . It has a small block 400 . I’ve had it from day one. I was 18 when I got it brand new for working on the farm . It’s a beautiful ride. My Son will get it then his Son. Very proud of it .

Beautiful car. I owned one in white with same 350 4 bolt engine and similar engine work (except stick).
The way it is tuned it is good for 6 to 8 miles per gallon when driven very 'conservatively'__ less under a heavy foot.
I do not like this style of z28 ... but Nick this one ☝️ is sick AF somebody’s going get a great car
I'm a Mopar guy but I love these 2nd get Camaros, especially the Z28's, even if it only has the badging. Beautiful car, love the color and the sound of that 350 is badass.
It’s that beautiful exhaust note that I’m going to miss when I get my TESLA. And the beautiful body shapes of an American muscle car. I guess I’ll have to get both 👍🏼

I bet the brakes aren't as responsive as they should be because that motor has a stout cam so vacuum is low for the brake booster. That's where I'd start anyway. Sweet ride!
I like how the heater controls are only for the driver on these. The girl friend can’t change the heat setting. Ha

Big stall on converter for that big cam that's thumpin' and lopin' too. Noticed the tach needle hitting bouncing up over 3 grand when starting from a stop to just get rolling. I'm sure it shreds after that!!!!

Man, what a toy. Yeah, I agree about the vacuum canister or even a vacuum pump for the pwr brakes, maybe even a hydraulic brake booster. That cam is definitely not making much vacuum. But then again with a sound like that, we don't need no stinking brakes. Just pop the chute. lol

From the undercar shot, I see a Turbo 400 and sounds like a high stall torque converter.
its a great car to start with,, i would prefer a stock motor,, then i can do what i want.. its a good price i think. oil pressure started at 60psi then dropped to 40 after a short drive. still good though. 10lbs of oil pressure is enough. she is a beauty.

Back in 1978 my buddy had a 1970.5 Camaro Super Sport he drove to work and it was stolen he never seen it again.
Duration on camshaft is causing low engine vacuum and power brakes don't function as they should.
That sound is intoxicating!
Originally an AC car but the whole entire heater box and AC unit is just gone. No way you felt air trickling out of the vent. The mirrors are aftermarket plastic and it used to have manual joystick side mirror adjustments which is also missing. The radio? Ok I can live with it missing. Too bad the dash panel was carved up for that abomination of a tach intruding. Not original bumpers either. Came with a full width originally. Gorgeous paint and priced nearly correct.
