(8), in the Royal Stables of a magnificent 11th century castle 30 minutes from my home, we celebrated the 20th birthday of one of his grandsons from Paris; he was with his Vietnamese girlfriend who I discovered, very pretty and very intelligent, she is coming back from 6 months of studies in Canada, he is leaving next week for a 3 month internship (work-study/studies/company) in Malaysia, these young people are really 😉 The (gastronomic) meal was sumptuous and refined, wow, it did me good, to find a semblance of a social life again, and tomorrow evening after spending the afternoon with Claude , I am invited to my kind neighbors, I hope that your day will be as beautiful and filled with serenity, and lots of little joys

Has Kirsten ever looked and sounded lovelier? (OK, maybe in Shallow.). I think she enjoyed her bouncy curls as much as any of us did. Scott was having too much fun with his diamond-shaped specs. Matt looked and sounded fantastic, and Kevin was amazing (and looked like he was having a ball). Mitch got to do sound effects for the first time in way too long, and he was *born* to cover Cher. I'd love for them to cover the 70s (my secondary school and uni years) and the 80s (my single career years). I was too busy as a new mum in the 90s to have noticed most of these!
I don't think it's a secret in the Pentaholic community that KEVIN is my favorite!! I adore all of them, but Kevin is very special to me because of who he is as a human being. I just love him so much! You know, I was raising my daughter during the 90s, & she was a very sickly baby / toddler, so I don't know many of these songs coz I was so preoccupied with her for that whole decade. But I love them now, hearing Ptx sing excerpts from them!! And I agree they should release full versions of all those songs!!! This was brilliant, & I'm so glad you appreciate their music so much. Barry, I could be wrong (if so, I apologize), but I don't think you've reacted to PTX live at the Star Vista in Singapore. I think you're ready for it lol. Just a note or two; they start with a hymn, while Kevin--who was "cello-boxing"--puts his cello away. Then they segue brilliantly into a cover of Imogen Heap's "A-Ha!" It's a fancam, so it's not perfect, but it's still well worth watching. Anyway, Kevin IS there, but by the time he comes on stage, the person filming it is focused on Avi then Mitch. Kevin was back with the group as Avi started singing. He is on the other side of Scott. While you never see him, you can hear him.
@@alynkuster5138 can kind of tell where Kevin is because when the fan closes up on Avi there is a large gap between Mitch and Kirstin, then when the camera pans over Mitch is standing beside her.

I have 6 favorite members of PTX. They were going to do Believe for one episode of the Sing Off, but couldn’t get the arrangement they way they wanted it so they changed to a different song.

LITERALLY ME. I loved ALL of these 90s hits, man it brought be back but I didn't mind one bit! I love how you keep calling him Mitchy like a term of endearment. Cuz who am I kidding, Mitch is endearing to all of us.
Scott is my favorite....I just love his smile while singing :D I would like them to do a 70s medley. Also, there is a video that has ptx on one side and the original singer(s) on the other comparing and they sound almost identical.
I’m down for a 70s medley! Best decade for music in my opinion, starting out with singer-songwriters like James Taylor and Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell and Carly Simon snd Carole King and then the middle of the decade came all of the great rock ‘n’ roll bands like Doobie Brothers and BTO, ELO, ELP, LZ, Styx, the Eagles (who fall in a category of their own), and many more. Then near the end of the decade came disco and I like all of those types of music. So much versatility! I know I sound old when I say that so much of the music today sounds so much alike and so many of the tracks that are produced today on an artists new release sound very much the same with a few exceptions. I was a DJ at a disco in Dallas in ‘78, just after the movie Saturday night fever was released in Dec, ‘77, with all of those hits from the soundtrack.

Watching this and singing along- then the realization hits me that these kids were literally born in the early 90's while I was graduating high school and going to college.
For me Kirstin... I have loved watching Kirstie grow from the shy, somewhat timid member of the group to the powerhouse, belting beast she is now. She’s out there belting with boys now! I gotta also mention how gorgeous she is... you know I had to say it! Hey, don’t get me wrong! I’m a 79 year old grandfather! So Kirstie is an amazing artist-and thus MY FAVORITE PTX member!
They are all amazingly talented. That said, Kirsti stands out the most to me.
I can't think of another acapella group that is capable of doing this kind of complicated arrangement, can you? Their talent individually and collectively is off the charts! This one was flawless. Great reaction Barry!
They are all great but Scott and Mitch are my favs. Especially together, they read each other so well and they harmonize beautifully. They feed off each other and it's magical.

For those of us who were going to the disco when these songs were released, this cover is just MAGNIFICENT! The originals relied so heavily on the beat, lots of high-hat and cymbals and fast backing music and PTX are just AMAZING how they recreate them flawlessly

Favorite? Easy. KEVIN! I am always blown away with his percussion. And he has progressed so much since the Sing Off.
OMGOSH Barry! Please don't apologize for singing along with them, Many are annoying when they do this BUT you fit right in and seriously could stand right next to them and sing with them, no one would think you were new! I love them with every fiber of my being, as i do you! Your voice is equally as amazing as theirs!

Nice clickbait title there, Barry. I did my heaviest clubbing in the 90s, so I definitely remembered all of these songs. Because this was only released as a video and single, I thought for a while that this was a promo medley for a new album that included all 15 of these songs, but now that appears to not be the case. I have no problem saying that my favorite member is Kirstie. It's been so wonderful watching her grow from that timid, shy teenager into the shining star that she is today!
I knew all the songs in this medley, my favourite member is Mitch his voice is just so beautiful and his personality is so unique to me I just love learning more from him, Scott is a very close second he is just such a ray of sunshine and his soulful voice and his riffs and runs are amazing. I love them all, they are all incredible talented people, Mitch just drew me in with his voice and personality and Scott is just fun and full of life

I can't say I have a "favorite" since I love the talent they each have. I can say that it is the voice of Scott Hoying that got me listening to PTX.
5 minutes ago I was feeling terrible (got my flu shot and I have the aches and low fever and all the things). But this is magic. I feel so much better. The happy brain chemistry has fixed me right up. Who needs meds when you can listen to this stuff?

I have two favorite members: Kevin and Kirstie, I just think they're the most technically talented of all of them, not that they aren't all INCREDIBLY talented, but I just love them both and I feel like those two don't always get the accolades they deserve the way Mitch, Scott, and even Matt do... and they ALL deserve accolades, so maybe that's part of it for me. I like understated hard workers, I guess lol.

This is the most highly qualitacious medley ever!!!!! My fav Kirstin, yours...hmmm Mitch!?? Love them all but something about Kirstin's emotional attachment to the music grabs me and draws me in! Agreed they need to do them full length...or medleys for every year...or...or..once again proves they are not of this world!!

They are each my favorite. It depends on the song. I can’t help but love all of them! They are amazing. Also, I was born in 1985... these songs define my childhood. It was a fun time for music. Between the grunge, pop music, and the hiphop that came out then... it was fun. I love all of it. And it carries a serious amount of nostalgia for me. Even the songs in this medley that I didn’t love when I was a kid are still pillars of nostalgia. :) great reaction
I'd love the 80s medley as that and 70s were my childhood. And I knew all but 2 of these songs. My fave member? I love them all but I'm mitch all day long! I've never heard anyone with voice like that. He (or she as I know mitch identifies both genders) can illicit raw emotion just by singing even just a few words. Its not even his crazy range which I think we haven't even heard fully yet, it's the purity, the depth, his ability to capture images and feeling in others with even simple notes. Angel voice. Buy they all paint with chords and notes as Picasso did with oils.

I think they should go back to 30s jazz, then 40s swing, 50s rock 'n' roll, 60s - there's a lot to do there, 70s disco, and keep it coming. Pentatonix can make every era and style fresh and appealing.
Mitchy-Roo is my favorite BUT, (I secretly have a Mad Crush on all of them🥰). And while I did not know many of these songs (age 🥲) I have grown to love them all and YOU, Barry❣️
