Hey there, I bought the same kayak 2 years ago and love it! It's gotten a few bad reviews but that's because these people didn't know how to take care of it. If you don't mind, I'd like to pass on a couple ideas given to me to extend the life of your kayak. When inflating, you need to constantly adjust the bladders so they are positioned correctly to get maximum performance in the water. Given this is an inflatable, it's not very fast in the water as is, and again, this will maximize your speed. Also, make sure you do not keep in it the sun, especially if you did not adjust your bladders when inflating. This will stretch out the material and you will never get it back in form and might as well throw it away. Finally, buy the little Sevylor 18 lb thrust motor that has the mount already on the side of the kayak with a 35 ahm deep cycle battery. This has been great for me when out on the water a few hours and not feeling like paddling back. BTH, ditch the mount on the kayak and build your own...I found the one on the kayak was difficult to manage given the flexibility of the boat. Made mine out of PVC pipe with at storage rack on the back....used the back fishing poll holder mounts as the main way to secure it. Anyway, hope you are enjoying your kayak!

Cool new kayak! I’m sure you’ll get used to it the more you use it and get the proper gear. I would recommend using a head strap or mount for your GoPro. If nothing else, look at it as a means to get you access to other parts of the shore and get out and fish 👍
Thanks for the tips! Olesya is going to try using a head strap next time. The kayak was really nice to get to some spots that were not easily accessible from the shore.

Hello : ) we really like this kayak. It has many pockets, rod holders, pretty roomy even with two people in it. We were thinking of adding a trolling motor to it but not sure yet. It’s easy to travel with. It packs nicely into case. It’s not too heavy to carry. The only thing we worry about it that it can get ruined under the sun. Also we are still learning how to fish from kayak so it can be challenging at times. It helps when you have two people on it. One is paddling while the one one fishes lol
