The Vervet Monkey is the most common primate in the Kruger National Park. They are found all over, and favour the river systems, camps and picnic spots - where they are a real pest. This has come from people feeding them and the easy availability of food they can access in these areas.
Large troops of Monkeys can be seen along the perennial rivers, such as the Sabie, Olifants and Luvuvhu.
This video was taken close to Lower Sabie and the animal call has been added to this video.

It could be, but also this is the alarm call mostly so they might have been scared off by this...

Is it true that Vervet monkeys have 3 main calls? Distinct sound for eagles in the sky, leopards and snakes where they react differently when they hear each warning call?
