It was cool that Nona , went to you for help. Most daughter's don't go against their mom, who after a monkey has her own baby obeys her. So Nona went to the big kind human to help her. This is what daughter's have to figure out, even mom has to ask to baby set.
These macaques are so different looking than the ones that I have watched from like Cambodia and other warmer climates. These get such a thick winter coat.

I remember those very long ago days when my twin boys were babies 42 years ago & I know if I had been within ear shot of their cry's I would have been fretting too. Nona was very smart, she need that if she got someone to follow her , things would be set right, you had the camera, they know what a camera is doing . She wanted their behavior and her baby on camera. She trusted you to help her.
