These overexplained videos are truly a Godsend. They're so beginner friendly but are still so jam-packed with knowledge that even an experienced sewist could learn knew things from them. Plus the graphics are really the cherry on top they're so well made.
Do you think maybe a quick five minute video with common sewing and garment definitions would ever be something you would make? I've tried a few times to find a sort of "sewing dictionary" before but I must really suck at Googling stuff because I can't find anything and not being able to use the words I need to describe a problem or look up tutorials really sucks :(

@@SarahSpaceman If you ever have time and motivation for something like that, I'm sure many people would appreciate it! I've been interested in learning to sew for a long time and recently I've been enjoying your videos a lot.
Seeing your amazing cosplay projects has given me some more directed motivation to learn to sew. I think I'd like to learn to make costumes like you do! They're so complex and fun and artistic so they interest me more than regular clothes, haha. (I'll try starting simple, of course! Gotta get a solid foundation in the basics, or something, right?)
But I hope I'll eventually learn to make really cool stuff like you and so many other cosplayers do. Your videos are already very helpful because you explain things very well and in an engaging, exciting way, so if you ever want to make a video like what Masked Foxx suggested, I can assure you it'll be my go-to guide XD

If you put the brand name and the number (for instance Singer 501a is my sewing machine) in YT or the search bar, you can find tutorials on how to thread it (because every machine is slightly different), how to put in the bobbin, ect. They all feel like they try to explain some hyper specific thing about the warp vs the weft before actually telling you what the bias is. But yeah, just take a 45 degree angle out of it and it works either way assuming you didn't start with some weirdly cut piece of fabric.

i love your channel and the videos. I've been getting into cosplay recently and these help a lot to get better understanding of how everything works. I know basically nothing about sewing or crafting so these little Over explained tutorials are more than I could ever hope for. Thank you so much

just wanted to say how much you inspire me and many others with your work :"з i always wanted to start sewing but was afraid of actually starting. your videos inspired me so much - seeing how you made such difficult designs come to life was amazing to see and even more tempting for me to finally start creating clothes and cosplay myself. that's why seeing you cover the basics is really helpful, your way of explaining plus the editing makes it so easy to follow while also being very entertaining qvq
thank you for your work and good luck with the new project of yours!! (sorry for the comment being kinda long💀)

Your production value is something I aspire to, holy wow. Way to turn the end into a Marvel movie. Honestly I don't know a lot of the things you cosplay but I can't stop watching this channel because A - the vibe here is immaculate and B - these videos are beautiful. Thanks for another great one! I'm not really a beginner at this point, but I still learned a couple new things here. Thank you! ❤
One of the little things that really helped me in the beginning was downloading my sewing machine manual. It sounds like a lame tip, but it really helped me so much! Having the instructions immediately available to pull up on my phone made things like winding a bobbin and threading the needle less of an overwhelming obstacle, because i didn't have to fumble around for instructions and I knew they were correct for my specific machine.
