Spot on mate , watching this in Pontypridd, off to Bali in a few weeks , returned from Thailand middle of Feb having done two months in Vietnam and Thailand, will be back in Thailand next Xmas only for a month and half doing a week in Cambodia aswell , when I retire it’s Thailand for my wife and me for 4 months in the winter , our country has been wrecked by our own government 👍
Hi wyn just watched your video and totally agree mate...I spent time in Thailand (3 visits before covid) I lived in wanstead a nice part of east London had a ok job but wasn't happy...hence sold everything jumped on a plane with 2 suitcases and have no intentions of returning...that was just over 2 years ago...I'm nearly 60 and have settled in jomtien which I'm sure you know.....I like you miss my brother and close friends but mate we only get one chance in life ...go for it...best decision I have made . Wish you well wyn...good honest channel 👍
I'm from South Australia... I'm going to Bangkok in June, then I'm going to the Da Nang for a week... Here in Australia we are much closer to travel to these places

Know exactly what you mean...my heart will always be in Yorkshire but my head is in Thailand.. Governments over the last 20 years & more have systematically ruined the UK..that said hope you enjoy your time back in Wales and your son's wedding..in the meantime I'll put up with the water throwing ( Songkran) and 35° heat..🤠
Great vlog. Have just handed my notice in at work. All going to plan I should be in Pattaya end of June. Will get sort out a 60 day visa before leaving England. Will get an education visa at first, learn as much Thai as I can, and next year get a retirement visa. Thinking of making Jomtien my home. Would love to catch up with you once I’m there. Until then I will keep watching the vlogs as they help with information and getting to know the area. Thanks for the vlogs
Good to hear you got back safe....I'm a south wales boy myself but been to Lampeter many times.....weighing up my options in regards to moving to Thailand and your vlogs are a great help
Only ever drove theough part of Wales ( the place with the big name ) looked really nice. Going back to Pattaya in 2 weeks, 1st time back since covid. stay LK Metro for a few days, then Soi Lenkee a few days, then finishing off on Soi 13 for a few days. Can't wait. Murphys Law was my go to bar, and The Rockhouse is my go to when in Pattaya.
Great video Wyn ,very true what you say about the uk our Government seem to purposely destroying our heritage and What we stand for here. Staying single in Thailand is one sure way of safe guarding your money and extending your stay for sure.😊

Accomodation is the big financial difference and weather you can handle being hot and sweaty all day everyday myself i prefer Australia climate but the cost of living and immigration have destroyed the lucky country it is very sad the amount of people living in tent's and car's

Can you arrive in Thailand with a one way ticket or do they want to see a return ticket. Asking as i want to retire to pattaya in a few years
If you have an active visa then one way is fine. If you enter on a exempt the airlines may ask for a return or onward ticket👍
