Hi wyn great blog again when we was there in January there was a great English breakfast about two shop up or down from the Amsterdam bar and a nice kebab shop also. Keep up the good work 👍

Most people that go to the island take a girl from pattaya , the girls or older woman are available in the bars on the island you mentioned i was therr 4 months ago there wasnt one there i would bar fine best take someone you like from a bar in pattaya 2 nights is all you need very nice restaurant on the beach front and excellent food but not for someone on a budget

Yes the old Amsterdam is the best there, Audi bar further down the coast is great aswell.

I had a night on samet in 1991, I was a teenage backpacker. I timed it wrong, it was a Thai holiday so only stayed a night, there was very little there, certainly no 7eleven, would love to visit again, much closer than going to Chang

Last time I was on Koh Larn Island off Pattaya, there was only one very dodgy looking ATM just off the beach. Pattaya is fine, like at home but leave your debit card at home if you are going to the islands

Thanks for the vlog new sub here. I stayed in Samet for a month in 1998. Only five/six non Thai people on the beach. Big change from those times. Is if for the better who knows ?

Incredible videos, you might want to add some peppermint oil to a spray bottle of water too...mosquitoes don't like peppermint.

40 yrs ago was the last time I visited Koh Semet. Then there were only wooden and bamboo buildings with mud roads. accommodation was bamboo huts
