My observations after driving 5k + KMs -> 1. Placement of buttons (lock and auto engine start stop) near gear box is painful to operate for driver . Takes time to get used to it. These should have been at right side. 2. Front ac vents as you said are paanch rupiye waali quality. 3. The mats provided by Škoda won’t cover the hump in rear seating area. Škoda should have provided that. 4. Ambient light holder/placement looks good in style variant due to cardboard/brown colour but when touched feels cheap. 5. Horn of the car should have been like the old Škoda. 6. Cup holders in front in style variant are in black colour ,feels up market. 7. There is a smaller portion of brake noise in very lower speed. But these brakes are powerful as you said so this can be ignored. 8. Škoda should provide engine/bonnet insulation as accessory. Overall very good observations by you hats off paaji.
I own slavia ambition manual.some times i get rattling noice from right side ac vents area. Also after releasing brake felt squeaking noice from rear area. Also driver window one touch up and down not working as expected. Apart from these all are excellent. I am happy to have slavia

Driving a Slavia 1 ltr style. People said negative things when I bought it, but I didn't listen to anyone and followed my own instincts and did my own research. It is worth every penny! I just don't get the butthurt city fans. I think city was a decent car, but the tsi was so much fun to drive, city's albeit stable and silent, vtec engine just didn't feel good enough after having driven the Slavia.
I second it! Guess Virtus should score somewhere similar to Slavia or even higher considering the overall positive reviews it has received so far compared to Slavia.

Interior me jo sir ne bola wahi dikkat hai. Baki koi bhi point deal breaker nahi hai. Breaking 4 disc walo se bhi achhi hai. Baki jo bhi points cut hue hai jese spare tyre, to wo dusri gadiyo me bhi chhote ate hai. My personal opinion. Superb video.

Great video. Really enjoyed it, comprehensive review going into details. A few suggestions - Other than giving rating based on the number of disc brakes, I feel it should go on braking feel instead because the front brakes do most of the braking anyway and drum brakes in the back are okay (although I feel rear brakes being insufficient in my polo TSI during high speed braking). Size of the front brakes matter most and in case of Maruti cars are so small (I guess 235mm) in case of polo they haven't provided the anti rust rotor but it's decent sized at 256mm. One can spend some money to put the Jetta's ones on a polo too (288mm discs) which work with the rear drums (there is abs coding which exists for the same) also one can go bananas and install gti spec 310mm rotors with rear disc brakes. Also door hinge thickness is probably for the door closing feel and not much in terms of safety.
Tremendous video. Paaji, We bought Kushaq Style 1.0 by replacing Skoda rapid TDI. The points you mentioned regarding quality of interiors are the same which me and my family felt.

Loved it ❤ But I still think that screw visibility is just way too nit picking , neither it defines luxury nor does it has any role in the overall aesthetics to be honest ( I mean one has to actually search them ) . I dont think cars under 20L should have this criteria at all untill and unless it is too obvious for general eyes or at place where it there on most touch points . Also regarding disk breaks, criteria such as overall breaking would be much better than just no. of disk breaks only as there are 40+ safety features and many important than just rear disk breaks alone...
Some nit pick points like these will differentiate cars like Octavia with anyone who is not hiding such things. I still believe it matters because earlier VAG cars had it hidden which means they know what they are doing.

Aur rahi baat earlier VAG cars ki, to we cannot compare with old generations, thats a comparative analysis like Vento Vs Virtus, Rapid Vs Slavia etc aur is comparison ka kuch matlab bhi nai hai coz those cars are not just discontinued but overall outdated considering present & future trends . This is an individual analysis, criteria should be such that jo aaj features trending mein hain, most of which you have covered like 6 airbags but also like ADAS or whatever things are trending or might actually concern buyers these days .

I am still confused between city vx and slavia ambition. City provides more value for money only downside I see is infotainment and low ground clearance.

Paaji need urgent help. Is there anyway I can turn of tracking in my Skoda connect? Or use the car without the Skoda connect features? I drive a Slavia at times but do not prefer my family to know each and every one of my where-bouts. Please respond if possible
@@SunderdeepSingh Wifi is always off and still tracks, don’t know if you can turn off the bluetooth from the settings. I have tried though and there doesn’t seem to be any way to do it. The infotainment screen used overseas has a private mode to turn of the connectivity, idk why this was not featured here
@@SunderdeepSingh What about while driving? I have the ambition AT in white and the rattling/creaking sound appear the minute there is an imperfect road. And the service center's inability to fix those is just too irritating now.
I can really tell by analysing vw/Škoda cars owners the interior quality is worst tbh. They didn’t match with their old models like rapid vento polo line up .. pretty sad things but brand wants to expand its customers hence they are compromising such things.. Škoda vw nowadays are like just at only 80% of their potential. Lucky are those whose having older models. Trust me they are legendary models. Ty ;)

Bhai meri skoda slavia me ek or issue note kiya mene.. boot open button ko car key me long press karne pe boot open ho jata he pura upar tak jaata he lekin fir thoda sa wapis niche aa jata he… jese koi hydraulic loose ho na wesa.. usse boot me load unload me atakta he wo.. ek jan ko usko upar uthake pakadke rakhna padta he.. sirf mere me ye issue he ya manufacturing defect he..??
And one more thing.. car ki spare key jo hum gharpe padi rakhte he.. uski battery nikalni chaiye..??

I would recommend PPF on the vital parts like bumpers. For keeping the shine in tact, you can watch my detailing video for the Polo where I have used multiple Meguair's products.

In taigun u can do…right steering has 2 arrows up and down and from their u can pick or end the call…plz try and check again with ur car

@@SunderdeepSingh Wifi is always off and still tracks, don’t know if you can turn off the bluetooth from the settings. I have tried though and there doesn’t seem to be any way to do it. The infotainment screen used overseas has a private mode to turn of the connectivity, idk why this was not featured here

@@SunderdeepSingh What about while driving? I have the ambition AT in white and the rattling/creaking sound appear the minute there is an imperfect road. And the service center's inability to fix those is just too irritating now.

I can really tell by analysing vw/Škoda cars owners the interior quality is worst tbh. They didn’t match with their old models like rapid vento polo line up .. pretty sad things but brand wants to expand its customers hence they are compromising such things.. Škoda vw nowadays are like just at only 80% of their potential. Lucky are those whose having older models. Trust me they are legendary models. Ty ;)
