    Nobody said it better than Big Ben about why Najee is having a hard time and that it's not his fault. You guys keep believing that JW is the answer to test if you want to. I love the guy but it's not a RB issue. Teams are run blitzing every time Najee is in the game because they don't have to respect our passing game. That is why the run game broke open late against the Chargers with Patterson and Harris. Also, Najee's runs almost all look the same at the C and D gaps. He rarely gets A and B gap runs.

The line was questionable so to protect Russ...calf and older..they used these games to heal and gather data. Russ will read the defense better then Fields and make wiser plays! I'm in Seahawk country and been watching Russ since day 1. We need our O to be a little more potent. Add Deviante Adam's and Russ...will see what's up. For the future I think they want Fields.

    Russell can throw 10/10 passes with the proper touch that lands in the receiver's hands. Justin can throw 0/10 passes with touch. He can throw a good hard linedrive to a target, as long as that receiver can suddenly jump with a 40+ inch vertical. Watch the game with football eyes, not fantasy football nerd eyes.

    • @ydjlearn
      @ydjlearn 22 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      I agree whole heartedly about Fields. No touch on passes. He misses on a lot of throws that require him to put some "touch" on it. Watching Fields throw fast balls when the receiver is wide open and 10 yards away when he could put some touch on it to keep the receiver moving to gain more yards. The WR has to literally stop to catch those fast balls!

      @@byronscherer5098 the o-line is not as bad as your depiction. Field's pre-snap reads are a part of the problem. Yes, the o-line is young and learning on the fly, but they have given Fields adequate time on numerous occasions and he simply misses the read, over throws or doesn't put the proper touch on passes to allow the receiver to catch it! Also, Fields seems to want to hit a home run pass rather than taking what the defense gives him. That's why Dak Prescott was able to overcome his shortcomings and continued to take what the defense gave him during last Sundays game!

Justin Field is an average quarterback who looks average every week outside of maybe one to 2 good plays. still struggles with accuracy and struggles to make the right read and throw still only averaging about 170 yards passing a game. Yes he’s cut down on the turnovers, but that’s because they try to limit him so he’s not turning it all over Russell Wilson is going to improve the offense tremendously. Simple fact is Team won’t stack the box and it will open up the run game because they will be worried about us throwing the ball over top built not good. You keep it up with all the field height. He is an average quarterback that’s why you got it from Chicago for nothing

    Fields is horrible. Playing just like in chicago literally exactly like that. Less than 200 yards passing per game average. One touchdown or less per game average. Same stats as Chicago. Another year of almost dead last ranked offense. Time for a spark put Russell Wilson in. Fields look a average and im being generous on that.

    It would have been such a Machiavellian move for Russ to have faked this injury, knowing he's the better QB, so that people couldn't call for him to be benched if the offense failed him early in the season. Let's get real: if Russ had performed the way JF performed over the first 5 weeks, most people would be calling for him to be benched. The margin of error is smaller for Russ because (1) we expect more and (2) he's the significantly older of the two.
    I said from the beginning that Russ might want to consider letting JF start early without declaring it, allow him to show how limited he is, and then take over and be the hero. The NOISE that came with JF's acquisition after Russ's signing was completely unfair to Russ, but it was exactly the reason the Bears didn't keep JF. They didn't want any questions about which basket they should put their eggs into.
    Russ is the dude, and if he had played, the Steelers would be 4-1 or 5-1 right now without question, and Russ's stats would completely dwarf JF's. Now, once he comes in, he comes in as a calming influence and as a hero. He comes in as the guy who provides a clinic for how a grown a$$ man gets it done as an NFL QB.
    I listened to these boneheaded analysts with their garbage: "You start Russ only because it's easier to go from Russ to JF than it is to go from JF to Russ."
    That was always bs. If JF gets benched, he goes to the bench as a guy who knows he can still be the future...a guy who is doing an internship before taking over the gig full-time. That's all. It won't kill his confidence. He is receiving some valuable tutelage from Russ.
    If Russ gets released, that's good for Russ. His haters want him released, and a lot of his fans want him released for his sake. Russ may request to be cut. Other NFL teams will be chomping at the bit to get him. I think Russ as a free agent will go to Miami, Cleveland, or (if Purdy gets injured) SF.
    Russ's haters are going to spin the releasee negatively regardless of whether Russ requests it or not. If he doesn't request it, the narrative will be, "the Steelers knew he was washed and always wanted JF to be the guy." If Russ requests the release, "the Steelers knew they wanted JF the whole time and Russ isn't a team player...this proves it."
    Russ can't win in this situation. The media is just continually interfering in that man's life and career. Leave him alone and let him play! Let his career do whatever its going to do.

    Doesn't matter which QB starts. Drops, penalties, a porous o-line, injuries, and a head case at WR1 are all problems that the QB can't fix. Tomlin and the rest of Steelers nation will soon find this out for themselves. The real elephant in the room is an underperforming defense that the Steelers have poured HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS into, while spending mere peanuts on offense. Raise your hand if you think it's a problem when the second highest paid player on offense is the kicker!🙋 I'm always amused when I hear casuals complain about always having to rely on the defense lol. Well, duh!!!! That's exactly how the Steelers want it!
