- The Pittsburgh Steelers have been rumored to be in trade talks with the Las Vegas Raiders for Davante Adams, but two insiders think there are major obstacles in Omar Khan's way. Christopher Carter and Qiant Myers discuss the problems that would exist for both sides to come to an agreement, and why Adams may not prefer to play for the Steelers at this point.

I would think adding an Adams to the list of targets for Fields would improve his game as well. Don’t make the same mistake the Bears made by not surrounding him with talent.
If Justin Fields remains the starter then Davante won't even consider the Steelers a destination. Oakland's passing game is bad, the Steelers are significantly worse under Fields. They rank 28th-32nd in all team related offensive stats. Fields is a backup QB.
My guy…JF is a solid backup, nothing more.

@@joshfrye542no weapons hurt offensive line and the Steelers are 3-2 under him. Averaging 260 yards a game passing. Way better than last couple seasons. And he’s looking extremely better than his Chicago days. Once the o line comes together better and our running backs heal up you’ll retract.

Remove Tomlin if you want championships
No team is touching 44mil. , and ultimately the raiders will have to eat some of that , but as teams do they will drag their feet on it. Trying to develop a young qb to trust his eyes , and everywhere he looks no one is open is a nearly impossible task. A guy like Adams would get the ball more because he routinely gets open.

Adams would want to come to the Steelers because he would be the immediate number one receiver, and he would play with a better defense then he has played with and he would have a qb who will throw him the ball in Justin Fields, because Fields definitely threw the ball to DJ Moore in Chicago, the Steelers need help on offense, Omar Khan can't mess this up

If the Steelers bring in Adams and keep Pickens then Pickens will HAVE to work harder because he will look even worse which means he wi t get paid. You’ll have your two WRs plus Austin and Wilson will have the chance to develop well.

Sounds like we should beat the Raiders by 21 but knowing Tomlin, he’s try to keep it close and try to win by 3 in the last minutes of the game. SMH

The saints are without carr for a month and will be cutting a ton of players in the offseason they are way over the cap.
Jets probably will not have Rodgers next season

Can't run with Najee.... the other two running backs when healthy consistently, getting you over 5 yards a carry. Even with a #1 O-line, fields can't read a defense and see the field... Wilson could at least get the hot route to Mueth under pressure.

It's cool that you can point out a couple of dropped passes... all receivers have them, fields stull can't read defenses and see the field, like Pickens, he avoids the TE.... yeah, the offensive line is bad now, but I have seen worse lines for the steelers even toward the end of Noll and Cohwer....the problem is still Tomlin

Do you know how the Steelers can solve their receiver problem, keep JF on the field and exploit his athleticism, and get Russ in as QB?
Convert JF to WR/QB3. For this year, JF could be used on jet sweeps, etc. Defenses would have to respect him, so that would open up GP.
They aren't going to and shouldn't use Fields as a WR3. They'll have packages for him at QB but your idea is awful
