Hi Ben, I am 8 weeks into the ownership of my Honda HRV Advance Style, and must say I am very impressed with it. Day to Day economy is 60 mpg plus, and I have had a journey over 16 miles in heavy traffic where it hit over 100mpg! I am getting 520 miles between fill-ups. So easy to drive, regen braking helps in traffic, lots of driver aids including intelligent cruise, crash mitigation, the list gos on. Comfortable car to drive, and the practicality is great. Love the flat deck when the seats are down, and the magic seats are a boon when you are buying larger plant at the garden centre. The booming engine hardly bothers me the way I drive, since I am always striving for more mpg!!! Legroom in the back is outstanding, and is a nice place to be. Infotainment system is first class, although the navigation is a bit flaky, but you have wireless Apple Car Play for Google maps. Wireless charging is intermittent with my iPhone 14. Overall, delighted.😊

This is another new car that has caught my eye. Very competent car with lots of nice design features, especially on the rear seating. Superb powertrain engineering which delivers outstanding economy. Exterior design is easy on the eye, and in the right colour sensational, and available with a light interior and pan roof. Great comprehensive review Ben, like your focus on detail 👍

What kind of tints are on this car. Yeah believe the tints do not come as standard in the UK? Great video btw!
This is a Honda press car UK spec, meaning this is available from Honda, people actually tinted over them with the previous gen - thank you for the kind words Mohammed
I was told speed cameras are not available on this sat nav set up, where did you get them please, I get my car in April.
This is a Honda UK press car, spec’d as available to the public - maybe the feature has been removed from subsequent vehicles. Thank you One
How would you compare this to the Yaris Cross? Had the Jazz in for a service today but unfortunately the dealer didn’t have one available to test drive.
That’s a tricky one both drive very well but the HRV has the edge on space and magic seats and interior, economy hard to say extremely.
Ive test driven both and can confirm the HRV is in a league of its own compared to the Yaris. More zip off the line, engine kicks in seamlessly with minimal vibration, much better interior design, more premium material throughout, much better ride over bumpy surface, much better noise insulation, more space and practical with the magic seat. Yaris Cross was so underwhelming and crude. We could not understand why it's so popular. The infotainment system in the Yaris is garbage as well. The only thing going for it is the lower price and awd

We have to wait until next year here in United States to get that version, so to us that will be the 23 version. .I just bought the 22 version here in United States which is still the same older body style. No wonder the salesman was pushing so hard for us to buy it I think they were trying to get them off the lot to make room for this one.

Is engine adequate for long travels?
It is, economical too with decent power, thank you George
It's very good from standing start up to 60km/h. Beyond that it does start to get a bit noisy but once you are up to speed it's fine. Completely adequate for normal driving.
