I'm always asked "What class/build should I start with?" in Project Diablo 2. Here's my best answer to that question in as many ways as possible for Season 8! great video! so much info in one shot. my main strat to "getting rich" is playing an unhealthy amount ^^; and trying to predict the market trends. but yea thanks for showing how many valid starters there are, really exemplifies the balance of PD2!

Thanks a lot dude for these guides. I'm coming around back to pd2 from other arpgs, and your videos gave me the rundown I was looking for to basically jump into the new season being informed to have fun and possibly stick with it, decide what I'd like to play, and not be bogged down worrying what I might be doing incorrectly. The build guides have been incredibly helpful, since they're the best part of arpgs :). Thanks!
some video suggestions:
I would appreciate a "mechanics to look forward to in pd2", like a gameplay guide maybe, like leveling -> "LoD content" -> then maps? or get a bossing build? idk, something to guide a gameplay experience through what makes pd2 particularly enjoyable as an arpg, maybe how it's evolved over the seasons (last I tuned in was s4), and what to do in season 8?
(another video suggestion would be, like, how to progress from finding gear on ground, "low-cost" easy trades, to what content, to being able to obtain something more "high-end", or learn to craft? Basically a "sustainable" progression pathway.)
(another video suggestion: highlighting and playing a "support" build and how to get into groups :), and even perhaps how to "dual play" it with being support AND able to go solo? who knows)

Grinding two handed zealer. Not optimal but since it’s a new style I wanna experience the spiritual journey of the zero to hero. Plus using items you never get to with a pally.

I Looooove you, now have a fire sorc to farm MAggot and i found a 100% perfect Shako haha im sooo hyped
With the Vengeance Pally this for end game builds a very good item for that point in the game is Dclone sword if you can get it to drop and are good at killing Dclone because of the chance to cast lower res proc that it offers. Also another good item for the Vengeance Pally is the Famine rune word because of the elemental dmg it can do on top of the elemental pierce it offers and also you can make in a Phaseblade in PD2 for the attack speed.

BTW there is a budget options for Dtail sin. Full nat set + stalkers cull and some basic ED jewels ill deal like 15-20k minimum fire dmg. Combined with Full Ik a5 might merk and it gets rly decent damage
1) WoF requires around +15 skills before it becomes actually good at cows and suffers from huge issues in a playthrough.
2) By far the most powerful sin starter is lightning traps. It's not even close between that and other builds.
3) Blade sentinel absolutely cannot lean into venom damage, it does not work at full value with ranged skills and also gets the 3/4th weapon penalty. Do NOT trust the character screen for your damage output.
4) Out of the martial arts cobra strike provides a much smoother leveling and early game farming than PS or CoT
+1 on this, assa starter tier list on this is really bad, if you ask any experienced pd2 assa player

This is true WoF is not a good starter build I dont understand why people recommend it. I love the work DH does but sometime less is more if you have not tested it yourself dont put it on a list.
@@wtbNZT48 You don't need to kill any immunes before reaching hell arcane (if you want to though, you can rely on a3 cold merc and fireblast). I've got a few speedruns of a light starter on my channel with a routing doc included.

Fairly certain that the summon skele mage build is easiest starting build for necros.

I wanna try that holy fire charge paladin, would you reccomend starting out as this or go foh until i get some gear for it
I'm a noob on this build, so is lower resist, like pus spitter more effective than say act 2 reapers toll, until I get an infinity?. Do you want -fire over physical, or both, should I put points into curse mastery.
I know it's not the safest approach but I think I wanna go act 4, dark with infinity staff to just spam amp.

I am noob first time going to play pally played assassin last season only got him to 87
I started with CE necro. Not sure where to head gearwise tho. Iam torn between getting Trang set for CE necro or level a Druid and get aldur set (did this the last 2 seasons and summons basically carried me so easy to full rabies gear in maps).

@@darkhumility4915 After maxing CE and synergies, where would you put remaining points? Blood warp for CD? playing HC btw. Was thinking about putting the points in Bone Armor but i feel preeeetty safe behind all my revives even with just 1 point in BA on hell CS and pits.

@DarkHumility Hey man, love your work, you are probably the best PD2 content creator :) I just tried S8 and was shocked when my Stealth rw didn't work so i googled and realized it's in fact Crafters League, am i missing something? Do you have any guides regarding Crafters league?
i don't but you will have to do without runewords. Make use of those crafting recipes!
@@darkhumility4915 Yea but where can i find all pd2 crafting recipes regarding crafting league? i saw people craft +2 all skills, all attribs, mf and many other affixes, all on a single weapon. It's not regular d2 crafting.
I feel like new and returning players would rather have information like the build's point layout and the best way to fill out your tree while leveling rather than where to farm in Hell(I know I would...). Especially for builds like Corpse Explosion.
i would level as a summoner if you dont mind the playstyle. skeletons or clay golems. if you hate summoner then level as teeth. farm chaos or any lvl 85 areas you can quickly kill. pits, ancient tunnels, cows, etc
typically you max out the skill and then core synergies, for CE you'd do that then max revive and amp and desecrate last.
In full tals as a ice barrage sorc, im able to farm hell baal with the only annoyance being the act 2 skeletons that my merc has to slowly poke to death, and he's responsible for my biggest drops. I know baal runs dont usually seem practical for mf, but its been worth it imo.

Your merc doesnt need to slowpoke! Slap a obedience and purgatory on him withall Eth items, mine hits for 8K+ with it

Tal rashas being cheap is a myth i think. At least at league start.
theres no getting rich with bad luck... i farm cows all day and literlly get nothing, i dont even have a mal yet.. farmed sunday for 6 hrs straight and best i got is shael fuck this game
Just one of this things bud. I found 2 sur runes and an um. I always found it it’s good to break the monotony of just farming a different area or leveling a new character to farm different areas. Makes the grind easier
Just started with a freezing arrow zon started farming cows just saving up all gems jewels and shit 2 mal runes and a jah in a couple days of farming and I just started Monday and today's Thursday now I'm running maps and I am I have found another jah and a lot nightwings and 2sk que heagans .. it's all.about RNG and if it not target farming then killing many mobs as fast as possible is the best way... Also just being lucky does help... Gl with the farming ps this is my first season in pd2 .
