I’m in a struggling marriage alone I’m to the point where I know I can’t do it by myself. So what do you do when you are the only one fighting at what point do I give up because I’m right there to where I want to give up and I’m holding on for a miracle please anyone reading this pray for me on my family.

Encouraging scripture verses around the house, in dresser drawers and cabinets reminded me that God was with me, as He promised. God did amazing things to protect us. Research and study listen, pray, ask others to pray Patrick Doyle helped me understand what I was dealing with. Tony Evans gave me the strength. Reaffirm God’s truth, get support from someone and pray. Your feelings and spirit can disagree. You may be spiritually aware of truths, but emotionally feel alone, abandoned. That’s why you need to keep reaffirming the Biblical truth of what God says, is and what you are. If you are being told untruths about yourself or God, do not “repeat “the propaganda and believe it. Share these lies with a trusted Christian, so they understand your “battlefield “better.Hold on to God’s love and His promises.
Let your giving up be about surrender your marriage to the Lord and allowed God to take full control have a forgiving spirit toward your husband don't allowed the Ruth of bitterness to have the upper hand in your heart , stay fucus on God for yourself and let God love on you.

This made me cry because I’m not a wife but I have been in my relationship for 8 years. And I been engaged for three years but still have not married. Something about failure that scares me. Just as in 1 Peter 3:7 Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers. It’s not true that a man can do nothing to help his wife be submissive. He can love his wife and also cleanse her with the word to her that he might sanctify her. ”Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:25-33
He didn’t say a husband can’t help a wife with her submission- it can be really hard, and having a loving husband who can help his wife excel in her role without stepping over into his is a wonderful thing. What Voddie said was submission must be voluntary. You cannot make your wife be submissive and that is very true. Submission is an attitude that informs a series of behaviors both public and private. The wrong attitude will produce a very different set of behaviors that will fail to foster the biblically intended order in a marriage, and cause little but strife. Think of it this way: two people cannot both steer the same car. The man has been tasked with that responsibility, and is additionally responsible for making sure the car is headed to the right destination and getting there in a safe manner. If they wind up lost, in a bad neighborhood and his wife is in danger… he’s going to have to answer to God about how His daughter wound up in that situation. The wife consents to the husband being the driver. She can’t reach over and grab the wheel - they’ll crash, and both get injured. But she makes sure the car is well maintained, makes sure she isn’t overcharged for service, keeps it looking good and smelling fresh, doesn’t let the kids throw trash all over disrespectfully. She notices when it needs a repair, and works with her husband to keep it in tip top shape. Everyone who sees that car comments how beautiful it is, how smooth it rides, how comfortable, how it still appears brand new, and how they wish they had one just like it.

Idk how this showed up in my feed but it has me asking some deep questions about my situation...im a stay at home dad due to military circumstances and its been killing me that im not the one with the job and providing for the household...i have two little girls that ive been taking to church and trying raise them right but i feel like im failing my responsibility as the "man of the family"...im not sure how to feel about it all.
As a wife who stayed home with my children (homeschooling too), I think there is still much over which you can establish headship. I don’t know your exact situation, but the fact that you’re home with your daughters gives you all kinds of opportunities.For starters, don’t just “take” them to church. Establish a time of reading/prayer with them yourself. Talk about God with them when they’re rising up and when they’re lying down, when you’re walking along with them… Guide your family in finances-tithing and savings and investing-working with your wife, but not being a dictator. It’s okay to have her working outside the home, if she’s “submitting” to the circumstances you’ve created, and you’re submitting to one another for this season. Being at home, allows you to create ALL kinds of parameters for your family. In what extracurricular activities will your daughters be involved? How will you pray before meals? What can you do to witness in front of their friends? Will you host small Bible studies? Serving your family like Jesus is also a role of headship. My husband didn’t embrace headship as I’d hoped, and it was very frustrating. I thought he’d be more like his own dad who showed great servant leadership-but maybe I didn’t see the whole picture before we married. Anyway, passivity can be as oppressive as aggressive dictatorship! Enjoy the one on one time with your daughters-it’s a GIFT!
Your home depends on your spouse. Relationship requires both parties participating.., you can’t force anyone to love you or respect you! Vows don’t do that either. A covenant is always on a condition of agreement. Covenants can be broken depending upon actions. No your home shouldn’t be your priority when it’s not reciprocated. Nothing worse than a one sided relationship.., Jesus is the priority in all things… then you should be a priority just as much as anyone else.., it is Just as important to love yourself and treat yourself right as it is to love others and treat others right!
Shouldn't we try to stand against the tyranny being taught in those public schools? And shouldn't we take a stand in our neighborhoods to try and stop the tax theft?
What if my parents want me to sin? Buy them cigarettes, etc? I tell my parents no 😭. Every time I read “submissive in everything” I get scared. Yeah I’m not ready but I knew that lol. I don’t enable my parents to sin because I’ll have to deal with God & I’d rather my human parents be mad than God chastise me for my disobedience. So if I marry a God fearing man who falls short, do I submit to him if he’s sinning against God & wants me to join? It says EVERYTHING 🙆🏽♀️ The pastor said submit to the dad but if I did that I wouldn’t be submitting to God at that point. I will go to the store when he asks, watch the baby, listen to his hour long rants but I want to compromise the truth or enable him to sin. I’m going to use my discernment on this one 💯
You should follow God if there’s a disconnect between your earthly leader and the Lord. But there will be discord to follow likely so pray up and be prepared for that, because parents and husbands don’t like for their authority to go unheeded and they may punish you in some way, so it may not be easy so ask God to help you through and guide you
By submitting to your father you are submitting to God. Your father did not make you smoke the cigarettes or murder anyone, etc. I would look at how God changes people rather than how you change people. He that began a good work in you (possibly in them) will continue and complete it, if you don’t feel as if you sinned against God and they are actively sinning against God according to the law, do remember that the law justifies to man, that all are wretched sinners and apart from God except through Jesus Christ and the grace given to those whom he foreknew and ultimately believe in him alone as the Christ, the redeemer, the all mighty God. Share the gospel with them, don’t chastise your mother and father for those secondary things. If anything tell them what Christ did for YOU and how he saved You from your sin and the wrath of God to come on all those who are in unbelief, that Christ may save a man, but he never saves a man or woman and receive them into his kingdom as an unchanged creature with a natural heart or will, rather that of one who was given a new heart, that strives to love and enjoy newness of life in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Teach things like this to unsaved people, and they'll just get angry from being offended. In fact, if you have to teach this to a big congregation, ask and inquire if the church you are addressing is rooted in the heretical World Church Council or is it rooted in semper reformanda.
“It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.” - Prov 21:19
I am 18 and this is definitely what I needed to hear especially surrounded by defiant women. I desire to be a great woman of God, wife, and mother.

Idk how this showed up in my feed but it has me asking some deep questions about my situation...im a stay at home dad due to military circumstances and its been killing me that im not the one with the job and providing for the household...i have two little girls that ive been taking to church and trying raise them right but i feel like im failing my responsibility as the "man of the family"...im not sure how to feel about it all.

As a wife who stayed home with my children (homeschooling too), I think there is still much over which you can establish headship. I don’t know your exact situation, but the fact that you’re home with your daughters gives you all kinds of opportunities.For starters, don’t just “take” them to church. Establish a time of reading/prayer with them yourself. Talk about God with them when they’re rising up and when they’re lying down, when you’re walking along with them… Guide your family in finances-tithing and savings and investing-working with your wife, but not being a dictator. It’s okay to have her working outside the home, if she’s “submitting” to the circumstances you’ve created, and you’re submitting to one another for this season. Being at home, allows you to create ALL kinds of parameters for your family. In what extracurricular activities will your daughters be involved? How will you pray before meals? What can you do to witness in front of their friends? Will you host small Bible studies? Serving your family like Jesus is also a role of headship. My husband didn’t embrace headship as I’d hoped, and it was very frustrating. I thought he’d be more like his own dad who showed great servant leadership-but maybe I didn’t see the whole picture before we married. Anyway, passivity can be as oppressive as aggressive dictatorship! Enjoy the one on one time with your daughters-it’s a GIFT!

Your home depends on your spouse. Relationship requires both parties participating.., you can’t force anyone to love you or respect you! Vows don’t do that either. A covenant is always on a condition of agreement. Covenants can be broken depending upon actions.

What if my parents want me to sin? Buy them cigarettes, etc? I tell my parents no 😭. Every time I read “submissive in everything” I get scared. Yeah I’m not ready but I knew that lol. I don’t enable my parents to sin because I’ll have to deal with God & I’d rather my human parents be mad than God chastise me for my disobedience.
So if I marry a God fearing man who falls short, do I submit to him if he’s sinning against God & wants me to join? It says EVERYTHING 🙆🏽♀️
The pastor said submit to the dad but if I did that I wouldn’t be submitting to God at that point. I will go to the store when he asks, watch the baby, listen to his hour long rants but I want to compromise the truth or enable him to sin.

Parents cant make their children do something contraty to the word of God
You should follow God if there’s a disconnect between your earthly leader and the Lord.
But there will be discord to follow likely so pray up and be prepared for that, because parents and husbands don’t like for their authority to go unheeded and they may punish you in some way, so it may not be easy so ask God to help you through and guide you
By submitting to your father you are submitting to God. Your father did not make you smoke the cigarettes or murder anyone, etc. I would look at how God changes people rather than how you change people. He that began a good work in you (possibly in them) will continue and complete it, if you don’t feel as if you sinned against God and they are actively sinning against God according to the law, do remember that the law justifies to man, that all are wretched sinners and apart from God except through Jesus Christ and the grace given to those whom he foreknew and ultimately believe in him alone as the Christ, the redeemer, the all mighty God. Share the gospel with them, don’t chastise your mother and father for those secondary things. If anything tell them what Christ did for YOU and how he saved You from your sin and the wrath of God to come on all those who are in unbelief, that Christ may save a man, but he never saves a man or woman and receive them into his kingdom as an unchanged creature with a natural heart or will, rather that of one who was given a new heart, that strives to love and enjoy newness of life in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Teach things like this to unsaved people, and they'll just get angry from being offended. In fact, if you have to teach this to a big congregation, ask and inquire if the church you are addressing is rooted in the heretical World Church Council or is it rooted in semper reformanda.
