F8...yes
They took windows photo viewer away again, so there's a video idea for you, I used a prog called Restore Windows Photo Viewer, I wish they would just leave it alone.
Show of hands, how many would like F8/ safe mode back?
👍
You can enable the boot menu with "bcdedit /set {bootmgr} DisplayBootMenu true". Then you can press F8 to show the boot menu.
@@akikoooooooooooo Video link please...
@@mou-negae You run that bcdedit command from an Administrator cmd prompt and then reboot your computer. Then you'll get the Windows boot menu where you can press F8. I have no video about this.
@@akikoooooooooooo Yes, but that's after you get into Windows, or use one of the methods demonstrated in this video. Point is to have it available before you need it. And with today's fast SSDs, will you really notice a startup delay if the F8 option was there to start with?
This doesnt work on w11. I only have 2 options: uefi settings and startup settings
Hello. I think you mispoke at 2:41 of the video: You said shutdown /r /"Zero." But, on the screen it looks like the letter "o ," not the number zero.
Could you clarify, please. Thank you.
Hi thanks for the guide. I have a Win11/Win7 dual boot. I noticed when I reformatted and installed Win 7 last the boot screen went black instead of the fancy blue menu I had with boot options between Win11/Win7. I used one of your ways and got to the troubleshoot options and managed to use the command from legacy to standard boot screen which it confirmed successful. The thing is it booted the next time and again showed me the black screen. Can this be fixed or am I doomed?
Instantly helped, thank you so much.
thank you
Whatever method I use, I cannot see this screen
It's all black until I click Enter and get brought up to the Win 11 login menu
did you fix it now?
@@crypticso2127 No, still the same
Have you figured it out? Im having the same issue

My PC advanced options problem when I click restart it always black screen
Can get all the way to. "Choose an option" screen, but it won't let me select any of the 4 button icons on the screen. I'm trying to do this on a Windows 11 system on my Tablet.
Holding shift and restarting is gold when everything else is ineffective. Thanks.
Not if it's just a black screen. I have found no solutions
@@yaboystacey5578 yeah i can't find the restart button and all youtubers say to do that😭
@@rishaban4964 you hold shift and then restart with the mouse in start menu. Holding shift, then Alt+4 and clicking restart might work. Haven’t tried it. The first way definitively works.
@@yaboystacey5578 I’m unsure where you encounter the black screen, but this solution works if you are logged into windows. To access the recovery console at boot requires another solution all-together. I would have to look to give you solid advice, but you can search YT and find a solution.
@@michaelbennett9127 I can't enter my pc,I'm stuck in sign in page
Hello, is this the best way to install a clean windows 11 operating system? I already have windows 11, but I want to install a completely clean one. Or it's better through the home page > clicking on the windows icon > boot > then clicking on a key "Delete" on the keyboard?
What is better? Thanks.
Awesome commands and pretty helpful
thank you for the video
appreciate it
Glad it helped

@@crypticso2127 I resolved the issue! If available, switch your monitor, I have a Msi optic g27c4 and I downgraded it to my dads monitor he uses for work, and it showed the problems
I wish the command prompt was already in the startup menu so I can easily disable the infinite boot loop whenever it randomly occurs (like now. But no….
Your contents are great, and they help a ton setting up Windows 11. However no matter what I do I cannot establish network connection between my recent laptop (Alienware M15 R6) Windows 11 and my recently updated Windows 11 in my Dell Desktop. However I can still access couple directories in the Dell Desktop drive from the laptop. These directories were set up before when I had Windows 10; and all my shared directories were originally available throughout my 3 three computers (desktop and 3 laptops) when I was using Windows 10.
I keep getting Network error: "Windows cannot access\\My computer_Name\d....You do not have permissions...etc etc.
I was glad to find that you have a video addressing these network errors. But despite my attempt to apply all these recommendations I was not successful. Is there anything else you might be able to suggest regarding this situation? Thanks beforehand and sorry if this is off-topic for today.

Can Microsoft W11 come out with more reliable software for its Touchpad? The experience with the misbehaved cursor so far is frustrating, to say the least

Hai... i can’t connect my pc with Wifi.network status showing just a line. How to fix the problem. Not showing any wifi options. also not able to reset
3:41 "I'll leave all this information in the video description for you." It seems like almost every TH-cam video I watch that makes this claim fails to include the information in the description that they say they will. I'd say it happens about 90% of the time! He did not include the reagentc /boottore in the video description!

Hey mate i got a gaming pc and I play a game FPS is good no lag no stutter but 15 20 min it says invalid access to memory even tho I got 16gb ram and closes the game
Broo my laptop ran into a problem and it doesnt show any window logo
So, here's my dilemma, whenever I have a situation where the arrows don't move the scroll bar and clicking a tab or icon brings up another window of what I click, I have to restart the computer, and when it does, it brings me to the Advanced Boot screen. Is it because of a virus or a crash?

My screen is stuck on the please wait what do I do
Yup 👍
Holy mamamia thank you so much for this BS🔥🔥🔥🔥
i just get a black screen but no youtuber has replied to me so i guess itll stay that way
It said i was missing some file bro ...
Bro i doesn’t show the troubleshoot or anything it’s mad annoying
Its askinme for a password and i dont know it😢😢
Why does it look exactly the same as windows 10/8?
It doesn't lead to boot options... it only leads to "boot logging" and asks you if you want to disable random things. Nothing to do with boot order, the very first function of an operating system.
If we can't change the boot order and run the appropriate disk drive... why would any of the other things matter? It makes zero sense and pretty much leaves everyone s.o.l. that want to boot from a separate drive besides C.
I promise, anything you suggest will not work. It will not open any screen up. It only stays on a black screen until i hit enter and resets like normal.
After trying every single advance command and not fixing anything, have to buy a new pc😡😡😡😡😥😥😥
im gonna end up like this guy if this last option doesnt work…
edit: it didnt work
@@superpatchemarioyou'll just lose your data and not your pc
It’s lame that they have an option to reset your fucking computer 😭😭
But there’s no actual code to reset the damn computer from the settings
None of them worked for me :/
Then you would need to reinstall Windows because something is major wrong with your system
@@Britec09 how would I do that? It would just give me like no signal in my monitor and it’s a brand new one too like I just got my pc a week ago and it’s all latest stuff with windows 11 but all I get is no signal to my computer but the computer is still on judging by the lights still on. That’s why I can’t get into advance boot.
