Hello mate, she is an amazing little creature & my best mate, there’s not a bad bone in her…so I totally agree, borders’ rock!!!! Thanks for watching buddy 🙂👍
Ah the ABU 6500 elite! I have two of these which replaced two Shimano CFSs stolen from my garage. Good casting and light beach reels but not a patch on the rugged Shimanos 😦😦😦
Yes, agree with that. Those Shimano’s were built to last, I have always enjoyed fishing with ABU reels though, I’ve tried all sorts but always go back to them. Horrible feeling having tackle stolen, had a Century Tiger 235 rod taken from my car many years ago… I was in a rage for days after.
No, I had not heard of him but just searched him out & subscribed, looks incredible, different world down there! There’s just so much on here to work your way through there’s never enough time in the day! Thanks for the pointer though 👍🙂👌
Get yourself a small row boat and get down to the bridging camp... Water much deeper there and FAR MORE cod there too. Top chesil baits for cod Devon peeler Hermit crab... So sad to see the big chesil cod have all but gone, a 10lb was nothing unusual esp from the "Camp"... as a venue well past its best...
Bridging camp is certainly on my list, waiting for the right tide & weather as I’ll be getting there the hard way, trying to sync trips with work and family life is not easy but hope to be there soon. Thank you for your comment and hope you keep watching! 👍
@@fishdisco3107 no problem i fished chesil for 30 yrs believe me the camp is without question the deepest part and holds the big cod. The baits i mentioned along with a couple of lbs of FRESH black lug. With some squid is ALL you need totally forget Rag, that'll only bit you out with small stuff. Unless you going teather a small pout with a big 8/0 behind it for something big... Just one final point if your on fixed spools load up with 15lb braid and 80lb leader use ( if rod allows the green top inpact leads). 8 oz i believe with long 15 ft rods you'll get to the deeper water tge cod are in. Its all clean bottom so hooking one they've nowhere to run. But its at least a 150 yd cast for big consistent cod success
can you leave a small boat down there and if not where do you park car /van/trailer? years ok used to row across at langton herring parking by cottages but not sure if thats ok now?
@@davidmuncer7392 maybe someone else can offer some advice, I’m not “in the know” & for lots of reasons - some that you mention, I’ll be parking at Ferrybridge and taking the long walk to fish the camp….it’s good for the heart! 💪🏻
You've got a border terrier!! How cool is that ,best dog I've ever owned.❤

Great job. What weight will your carp rods throw?
