First had this on 3DO and loved it all them years ago. I paid 50 pounds for a mint copy on eBay for ps1 last year(February) and I'm glad I did because this game is so dam good. Nice video.
You can steal supplies from the enemy, it's better not to blow up the supply station (marked with the stripe). Also, the best way to win is to knock out the turrets from off screen--you can't see them, but you can hit them, and they can't see you. Takes a little longer though.
I wouldn't even try to capture the flag, I just liked exploring, running over some trees, crushing the little soldiers. Many hours were put into this game.
@funkyflights Good for you! I hope Sony does decide to put this on the PSN. I miss the hell out of this game and if they could release it on the PS3 it would be great. Even better is if they could update this version to where you could play online against someone in verses mode would be excellent!

@Vendettare1 True... But hey just get a ps2 slim and your good to go... OR let's hope they offer it for download on the psn network and it will work on the ps3... That was the whole point of my topic... In the meantime just get a ps2 slim there cheap...
I never found this to be a particularly interesting game, but it was fun to remake it in Game Maker since the only enemy AI was stupid ass turrets that don't even lead targets

I'm lucky enough to have the game on PSX. I had it when I was young, about seven or so, and I've got a lot of fond memories with it.
I used to play this on my first computer, a Pentium 1 with Windows 98. It seems that this game is every bit badass as I remember.

Question for the Return Fire experts: In single-player, is there a way to permanently stop the enemy drone helicopters from spawning?

Had the PC version....Skull popped up on the screen, I nearly died. Played with the sound off from then on hahaha

Great video! What are the differences between this version and the 3DO version? I know that for the 3DO, you could purchase extra maps.
