I recommend hooking up a hose to the separator drain and running the compressor. Hit the off botton, Crack the ball valve at the drain or on your hose and get all the oil out in seconds into a 5 gallon bucket.

Also if you are going to change the separator , drain the oil remove old separator, poor all NEW oil into the separator tank before putting the new separator filter in. Its way fast then using fill plug. Only time you should use fill plug is if you need oil but arent changing the separator. And if you keep needing oil you either have a leak, your separator is trashed or you over filled and ruined separator.

You don’t need to fill the lubricant filter full of lubricant and you forgot to service the minimum pressure check valve.

Only valves would be a separator scavenger line check valve, solenoid blowdown valve and a solenoid loading valve. The real important and popular valve is the discharge check valve or aka minimum pressure valve.
