I’m sure they have glow plugs, I know on my 1989 110 you turn to ignition point 1 then 2, then hold it for 5 seconds between point 2 and crank then crank it, mostly in the winter I need them

109k on a 300tdi not even broken and it looks rather good for a defender of that age can’t wait for updates
