You've done a really nice job on this truck. One thing that really rubs me up the wrong way though, is that you make a big thing of keeping with the factory look yet you put your company name on the front and in other spots. Why not have a bespoke plate engraved to go inside somewhere on the centre console for all to see, stating build number from Juice and other information. If I could possibly afford to have you work on my truck I would not want Juice in place of Land Rover or Defender. Sorry for the negative comments but I would expect your customers to advertise your expertise not a badge on the front. As with all TH-cam channels your always going to get a old git commentating on your content, you have to live with that. I really admire your enthusiasm and know that running a company with the various red tape and the commitment paying your staff and making a profit is quite a strain on an individual. You will also need to plan for the future and maybe expand your expertise to maybe chassis replacement to keep the money flowing in. Take all this as constructive info and keep doing what you get most pleasure from. Regards Tony

Thanks for the comments Tony! I appreciate all serious comments etc. We do replace chassis’s on a regular as like you say it keeps the lights on etc. I personally love the Juice on the bonnet in the LR font, maybe I’m biased 😂 I’m certainly going to have plates made up for signature builds etc, I’ll recall all builds to number them! Thank you for watching!

@@juicemotorsI agree with Tony regarding the JUICE badge on the front, and feel the same about Overfinch etc. That said you’ve made a really nice job of this 👌

Once upon a time, when I was a kid, in the late 60’s
or early 70’s my grand father had a Land Rover (5 door). That is why I have nostalgic attachment with this car !

If I had to pick a Defender 90 , that would be it 👌Stunning !
Do agree with the guy with a plaque or build plate inside and not Juice on the bonnet instead of Defender / Land rover , just my thoughts , otherwise spot on !

Good, solid, robust build. The Defender is one of those iconic vehicles that seem to grow in stature with every passing year. You deserve every praise that comes your way.
My mention is also for that Furry Boy member of your crew. He is the sweetest and most lovely boy. Lotsa hugs for him.

Absolutely love it, as with all of your projects. Would still love to see a breakdown of (approximate) costs for the donor, parts and finished project value (again approximate). I don't know about the other subscribers/viewers, but I just don't have a good sense of what this type of build costs. Presumably tens of thousands? But some insight would be welcome. Excited to see the next project!!

Nailed it boys. Quite perfect but never a fan of the Ford 4 pot. However just found the Alisport Air filter conversion that claims an additional 38hp! and its waterproof ! Unlike the plumbers piped original. Still looks stunning.

Brilliant job again and with great enthusiasm which I find so appealing. Need to spend a little more time on filming the final product and even though customers are normally inpatient, after so much attention to the detail and time spent on the builds, you need to use some “cinematic” tricks to finish off . Please don’t take it as a criticism,it’s just a not the first time it happened where as such a premium work deserves a sharper visual ending . Really Well done though ! If you where based in Cape Town you’d be absolutely inundated with work .

  • @globallandrovers

So Essentially you just added bolt on bits, paint and wheels. I saw the new brake pipes and callipers. Did you also strip to the chassis and rebuild with all new or refurbished components? I admit it’s a very pretty car, and cosmetically pleasing, but it’s what’s underneath that really matters, was the base vehicle totally rebuilt first? Other than that I really enjoyed your video. It should sell well. There’s a bum for every seat. We are currently building a G4 replica.

There was an S90HUE for sale recently in Brisbane, Australia. If I had the AU$154,000, it'd be mine.
Sadly, having been screwed over all my life, I think its gone to another home.

    • @petermiddo
      @petermiddo 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I'd be happy to buy a Land Rover purpose built (by Land Rover Australia) for the Australian Army.
AU$30,000 would get me the car, a power steering upgrade and a turbo for the Isuzu 4bd1 engine, with probably enough left over to buy a couple of GoPros to film my adventures.
Instead, I've struggled to get the $$$$ to upgrade a tired old computer so that I could put a virtual machine on so I can play some really old dodgy driving games on it.

Totally a credit to the team. Possibly one of the best on the the road and a HUE plate.
Passenger and drivers door cards maybe a bit more of an update to match the seats?
But just my opinion, I couldn't even afford to put air in the tyres 🤣

Really like your eye for detail and style. Perhaps you can put the all new Mud Stuff usb input socket in the blanked switch plate which you nicely adapted to a smaller version. This socket is connected to the radio so you get rid of the ugly cable which usually swings around on it own.
Covid pending I would like to bring my car in for air suspension later this year. Can we get in touch about this? Rik, The Netherlands
