Interesting that Beryl had never had BBQ sauce on pizza before. BBQ chicken pizza is a modern classic and I think it's still the most popular on California Pizza Kitchen's menu. Beryl's videos are so entertaining. 👍🍕
1) Pineapple is a natural protease, it will soften meat as well as sweeten the pizza (but it might work better with the big chunks cut a bit finer). 2) The Glaswegians will deep fry Mars bars if you let them.

I just started watching her channel and find her really sweet and genuinely interesting! We all are curious about food from other countries! She's very engaging.
I love fruit on pizza. My favorite is with pear, blue cheese (creamy type, not gorgonzola), and proscuitto. Normal base with tomato sauce and mozzarella ofcourse. I had this at a restaurant in Cambridge, UK. In the Netherlands, I had a pizza with canned "cocktail fruit" and banana, which was great, but not as much of a staple as pizza Hawaii - ham, cheese, pineapple. I also had a great pizza with peach on it in Finland, although I don't remember the other toppings.
The person was living in dubai most probably was a Filipino or goan or maybe spanish latin american decent because person last name was da costa Bacon was something she added i dont think it was part of the recipe
Alexandre da Costa well then that isnt Emirati at all. When you say you say that the people here eat this, you are implying that the muslims and the locals eat pork. Not to mention that this is YOUR recipe. Not a cultural thing. You should have mentioned that. And i checked ,and you’re right pork is not banned but this pizza is not at all popular.
When I saw Australia I immediately thought you’d make an Aussie pizza. Literally, buying it from a pizza shop, it’s called the “Aussie”. It’s typically a tomato sauce base (although everyone I know swaps for bbq) bacon, cheese and egg. Need to go hard on the bacon though 😋
She never specified so by default when somebody from the west refers to bacon it is usually derived from the pig. That's why the Dubai one sounded gimmicky.
@@donricoprocrastinating no, but I come from Indonesia, also a majority islamic country, and can confirm that they absolutely adore beef bacon here. if a restaurant has "bacon" on the menu - including pizza chains, then it's always beef bacon, unless they specify it's pork. turkey bacon isn't really a thing there, but it is a thing here in Australia. I've never been to the States, so I didn't know it was americanish.
BERYL!!! You are SUCH!! A treasure!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love you!!!! XD you made such a great video!! And I'm honestly inspired to try these myself! Thank you for making and posting this video!!! 😄❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
In Bogota, Colombia we have a Hawaiian Pizza (that's what we called it) its made with tomato paste, ham cut into squares and pineapple cut into squares, and A LOT of mozzarella shredded cheese then after it's baked we top it with Salsa rosada (a mix of tomato sauce and mayonnaise) and some bbq sauce. IT DELICIOUS
Hey Beryl, the Brazilian pizza is actually made with mozzarella too. You spread the tomato sauce (some people sprinkle a bit of oregano on top of the sauce), then you put the mozzarella and the shredded chicken on top of it. You don't mix the catupiry cheese with the sauce, instead, you'll make some "lines" crossing the pizza from one side to the other and then you repeat the process until you have kind of a "mesh" pattern, similar to american apple pies. Then you bake it!
I know this is an old video but 3:25 it's likely meant to be eaten with malt vinegar not white; they don't eat chips/fried things with white vinegar. Would be interested to know which one Beryl likes more!
Beryl, last time it was the HP PJs, this time it's Black Hole by Charles Burns right above a record of Teesri Manzil and next to a TARDIS. I can't get enough of you and your stuff. :D Thank you for the episode!
Wow the comments on here are ridiculous lol. You know how you can have anything you want on a sandwich? Yeah pizza is the same lol. I had plenty of pizzas in Italy and the US that got away from your backward old world outdated concept of a pizza only being tomato sauce base, sausage/pepperoni and mozzarella. I’m from Australia and we have so many options some are better than others but think of toppings like; pine nuts, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, spinach, capsicum, egg, popcorn chicken, prawns, Greek lamb, pork belly, tandoori chicken. I could keep going. Don’t get caught up in the past. The present has awesome pizzas come hang out we miss you way back there!
I've actually tried pizza in Australia and it tasted like it came from the can 😂 only one place impressed me, and it was australian-italian owned, they made classic pizza alongside weird options that aussies are into. It was very good but def didn't beat naples when i went.. old world? Where in italy did you eat pizza? Naples? Because thats the only place in italy you should ever get pizza. The rest of Italy doesn't know how to make it since they don't specialize in it. Different regions in italy specialize in different things, good pizza has become synonymous with all of italy, but it isnt so... just in naples.
In Midwestern USA we eat taco pizza. Spread a mixture of half refried beans and half pizza sauce and top with ground beef or chicken chunks and cheddar or Mexican blend shredded cheese. Bake, then top with chopped or shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and Doritos (nacho or taco flavor) and serve with sour cream and hot sauce.
That Malaysia's recipe almost like my mom's pizza recipe. But my mom didn't use tomatoes sauce base. Only thousand Island dressing, pineapple, cheese and tuna.
I'm from India, it's really common over here to use mayo or sometimes a white sauce rather than tomato sauce. In most pizza places including Pizza Hut and Dominos you can find a pizza called cheese and corn which literally just has sauce, mozzarella cheese and sweet corn. Some places will also add bell pepers and onions, but corn is very popular.
In Brazil we have pizza of literally EVERYTHING! Imagination is the limit, really, I’ve seen pizza of chocolate, strogonoff, sushi and other crazy stuff. My favorite one is shredded chicken with bolonhese sauce.

I watch this channel only because of Beryl ❤️❤️
I love these. Love love love them. I do miss learning what the, like, ‘popular’ take on these foods are in each country/region rather than individual tastes. But they’re still so interesting nonetheless - and wonderfully, cheerfully presented. Plus the videos always look great. Thank you for your work!
She's really very nice. I hope this series runs for a long time.
That little crazy eye when you take a bite makes me melt 😍
Interesting that Beryl had never had BBQ sauce on pizza before. BBQ chicken pizza is a modern classic and I think it's still the most popular on California Pizza Kitchen's menu. Beryl's videos are so entertaining. 👍🍕
1) Pineapple is a natural protease, it will soften meat as well as sweeten the pizza (but it might work better with the big chunks cut a bit finer). 2) The Glaswegians will deep fry Mars bars if you let them.
I LEGIT LOVE YOUR WORK BERYL!!!! I love you ❤️ and love this show
Thank you!!!
Beryl Shereshewsky greetings from Mexico 👋🏻 🇲🇽
So great to see "our" pizza with catupiry here...makes me a little more homesick. Thanks so much for your Inspirations! And especially during this epidemic your videos allow us to "travel" a bit! Thanx!!!😍
In Australia we still put tomato sause as a base and small "dots" of barbeque sauce
I just started watching her channel and find her really sweet and genuinely interesting! We all are curious about food from other countries! She's very engaging.
I don' care about the content. I just fall in love with her positive energy. Am I the only one who smiles all the time when watching her talking? haha
Beautiful episode! What an enjoyable outburst of culinary experiments.
I wish myself a friend like Beryl
We all need a Beryl-like person in our lives.
This girl is pulling up with a new video every week, I love it :)
Beryl is the luckiest person on earth! Her job is eating!
Says the ingredients of the Dubai pizza: Bacon
Bacon is banned in the U.A.E (Dubai)........... fake?
Turkey bacon isn't...
This seems very fake because I lived in various parts of UAE for nearly 8 years and I've never even heard of such a thing
The person was living in dubai most probably was a Filipino or goan or maybe spanish latin american decent because person last name was da costa
Bacon was something she added i dont think it was part of the recipe
Alexandre da Costa well then that isnt Emirati at all. When you say you say that the people here eat this, you are implying that the muslims and the locals eat pork. Not to mention that this is YOUR recipe. Not a cultural thing. You should have mentioned that. And i checked ,and you’re right pork is not banned but this pizza is not at all popular.
True...well noticed. Thanks.
Actually in the Brazilian Pizza case we also put mozzarella cheese with the catupiry! Thanks for the videos, I love it. It brings me a lot of ideas!
"Deep frying anything makes it better" - I couldn't agree more
When I saw Australia I immediately thought you’d make an Aussie pizza. Literally, buying it from a pizza shop, it’s called the “Aussie”. It’s typically a tomato sauce base (although everyone I know swaps for bbq) bacon, cheese and egg. Need to go hard on the bacon though 😋
Beryl: *giggles while taking a bite*
Me: *happy fangirl noises*
All of the Pizza's Look Delicious Wow!
Pizza with bacon from islamic country (UAE) ? Am I missing something?
Beef bacon and turkey bacon is a thing
She never specified so by default when somebody from the west refers to bacon it is usually derived from the pig. That's why the Dubai one sounded gimmicky.
@@pianoonparade those are really americanish things, are u from the area to confirm these alternatives?
@@donricoprocrastinating no, but I come from Indonesia, also a majority islamic country, and can confirm that they absolutely adore beef bacon here. if a restaurant has "bacon" on the menu - including pizza chains, then it's always beef bacon, unless they specify it's pork. turkey bacon isn't really a thing there, but it is a thing here in Australia. I've never been to the States, so I didn't know it was americanish.
They do sell pork bacon but in restricted areas(non-muslim zone)
Thank you!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂
I love this lady!
Everybody is here cause Beryl is the best right?
Most pizza is a majority of fruit because people don't know the classifications of fruits.
Weird Mike the only fruit is the sauce tho
On a plan pizza
In Bogota, Colombia we have a Hawaiian Pizza (that's what we called it) its made with tomato paste, ham cut into squares and pineapple cut into squares, and A LOT of mozzarella shredded cheese then after it's baked we top it with Salsa rosada (a mix of tomato sauce and mayonnaise) and some bbq sauce. IT DELICIOUS
Bravo for eating all those pizza in one seating 👏🏽You play no games you go girl
Ps love the music collection behind you. Your husband has good taste.
pshhhh thats my collection!!!
Jake pumpkin pizza🤤🤤🤤 coming to Australia!
Only thousand Island dressing, pineapple, cheese and tuna.
ya wehh hahhaha she use tomato as base
I'm from India, it's really common over here to use mayo or sometimes a white sauce rather than tomato sauce. In most pizza places including Pizza Hut and Dominos you can find a pizza called cheese and corn which literally just has sauce, mozzarella cheese and sweet corn. Some places will also add bell pepers and onions, but corn is very popular.
Love your job 🥺👉🏻👈🏻❤cause you love food 🍴🍕🍔
In Brazil we have pizza of literally EVERYTHING! Imagination is the limit, really, I’ve seen pizza of chocolate, strogonoff, sushi and other crazy stuff. My favorite one is shredded chicken with bolonhese sauce.
K I'ma say it..
Pineapple is good on pizzas.
Canada's greatest contribution to the world 🇨🇦🍍
No its disgusting and sugary
Great video!
