do the rooms have showers and toilets?

The rooms have toilet but no shower. They have a private onsen (outside the room) which has shower shampoo soap etc. You need to book when checking-in (like tell them what time you'll be using the private onsen). The private onsen is inside the ryokan building.
There's also the famous 7 public baths in Kinosaki. They have shower. Not sure about the other ryokan, but this one (Oyado Seri) gives you passes to go to the 7 public baths so no need to pay to enter the public baths.
