Hoover Road Barn Fire Rock Falls IL 5/20/24

Rock Falls Fire Department and Sterling Fire Department were dispatched to rural Rock Falls today for a barn fire. MABAS was called to the second alarm for tankers, man power and station coverage.
The windy conditions today made this battle a challenging one, but all departments did an amazing job at bringing this under control and protecting surrounding properties and buildings.

To a farmer or landowner, a barn is a big deal.
It can contain anything and everything; animals, fodder, incredibly expensive machinery.
This one also destroyed the mobile home.

So sad. This is devastating to the owner. 😢 Thank God nobody was hurt.
