- J Girl takes on the infamous Hiline in Sedona, AZ! This is a double black trail that starts out pretty chill and flowy. The ending gets pretty rowdy with steep technical shoots. I had ridden this trail a couple of years ago solo and didn't really stop to look at things when I did. The gnarly stuff was actually more gnarly then I remembered but Jess, even though she was pretty scared she charged it. Super proud of her going for it!

That bench cut exposed climb getting up there is tough! Hope to get out there soon to try and clean the descent all in one go.
Ever ridden pyramid/scorpion or the ridge trail out there? 2 of my favorites with a little less traffic.

Yeah we walked bits of the climb for sure. I don’t think I’ve ridden any of those. Are those on the north side of Sedona?
They are on the west side by the high-school as you head towards cottonwood. One of the Trailheads leaves the high-school parking lot. They both head down into the valley and make for some fun loops as they run both directions. If you like long, fast, chunky downhills, hop on Old Post road trail where it meets Skywalker and you have hundreds of feet of descending with good sight lines so you can let off and pick lines on the fly. So fun.
