- Making a return to Memorial Park in Red Wing, MN. If we're talking trail systems within a hour of the metro this is one of my favorites for sure. I've ridden this trail a decent amount of times but it had been 4 years since my last visit and it was even better than I remembered! It was extra rad to have local rider Bryan Mitchell to follow. He lives a mile from here and rides it all the time and for good reason, it kind of has it all. Flowy singletrack, steep descents and climbs with rocks and roots, cool views up on the bluffs and of course the rippin' DH line! I have a video of just the DH line in the ShRed Wing playlist if you wanna check that out.
Doing the entire trail is about 12 miles but feels like more, it's pretty demanding. If you haven't ridden here yet I highly suggest giving it a rip, it's a good one.

Underrated AF trail system and where I learned to ride! Hard shred of all the good stuff here, learned new locals lines from this even though I was a local for awhile! I'm submitting 10:59 to the city of Red Wing's tourism department 😆
That’s right dude, kinda forgot this is your home spot. Had a blast! It was even better than I remember
Mitchell is a beast. Thanks for coming down to Red Wing.
@@gusman4871 heck yeah he is! 🤙🏻
I just was here last week and hit all the trails and for the first time hit the first of the three big jumps. I love this place definitely a place to go if you live nearby.
Sick! Yeah, definitely doesn’t get the attention it deserves
Wicked Shredding, absolutely pinned down those runs! Underrated trail system for sure!
@@MinnesotaMTB_ yeah man. Going to have to make a point to ride there at least nice a year
Best things about Red Wing is there is no mushroom picking ban as well! Shred and collect dinner!
Yeah that is cool. I’ve never mushroom hunted out there but I bet it’s good
Wicked shred boyz! Yea, don’t sleep on Shredwing! DH trail has always been a favorite and that new install looks fresh. Gotta get back and give it the full hammer!
Oh yeah, shred wing is sick! Did you ever ride the original DH line before they rerouted it?
@@ridindirt Not sure. Andrew showed me this spot like 3-4years ago.
@@Dialed1 oh yeah they rerouted like 5 years ago. After the 3 big jumps it kept going all the way down for the road and then you’d have to hike a bike back up. It was pretty sick
@@Dialed1 Yeah that was the newer reworked DH we rode in 2021. Heard great things about the old DH trail but I didn’t ride MTB back then. Nick Ice has some vintage footage of the old trail
@@AndrewGehn That would have been rad to run that! Still a sick trail. The jumps after the step down could be longer to accommodate that massive speed after the step down.
Heck yeah!! The dh trail has been an absolute go to trail since I started riding mtbs about 15 years ago!
Nice! You remember the old bottom half then. That ski jump and g out were wild!
Nice rip! These trails look so fun, haven’t been here yet but definitely want to even more now! Also, love the voice at the end there, sold me!
lol yeah come on down! Place is pretty sick dude
place looks sick! ill have to go visit 🤙
It’s pretty damn fun, do it!
I've slept on this place for so long. Time to go check it out.
I’d say so
this place is super fun. got some fun stuff
Absolutely! 🤙🏻
Sick ride 🔥🔥
Thanks buddy 🤙🏻
Wow, those trails look so much better than I imagined! Wish I still lived in Inver Grove!
It’s pretty good stuff there for sure. Where are you at now?
@@ridindirt Short stop in Minneapolis, then heading out to the PNW & West Coast later this month. I think that Inver Grove was only 45 min or so from Red Wing
Wow. That place looks amazing. Looks like you have to work to keep up with your budy 😅. He looks fast.
Oh yeah, Bryan is a good rider and it helps that he’s ridden this trail properly a 1,000 times haha
You're going too fast, I can't see whats happening other that your bike flippin! badass!
@@MathisMade lol 🤙🏻
No gloves bro..... do you not sweat!?
Haha oh the hands get sweaty when it’s hot. I’m just used to it I guess. I’ve never liked wearing gloves though
