- In this video we attempt to ride Horhay, our 1970 Honda CT90 for the first time. This motorcycle had been in storage for about 20 years before we bought it. In previous videos we got the engine running, but hadn't tried to ride it, so are unsure of the condition of the transmission, brakes, and other chassis components.
Men will see Jennies garage has uploaded and just think "hell yeah"
Hell yeah
Exactly what I was thinking
Hell yeah
Hell yeah
Thats whats up!!
Keep up the awesome content. Love this
Nice save!
The motorcycle intercom systems are so nice to have
I need to get a set for me and my daughter she’s my riding buddy
I was noticing how good the audio quality on those was. Impressive.
Wow your son has grown a lot
It certainly pays to watch to the last second. Thank you for indulging 'our' hobbies.
That ending was perfect. This whole video was a joy to watch
Gotta teach that kid to stop revving the motorcycle like that, and to just let it idle. That's something I see so many teens with crotch rockets do, and it just upsets me... why beat up the engine like that... Heck I see harley riders do it to... what in the world are they thinking?
More! We need more Jennies garage!
This thing would sell for like $3500 cdn in my area. Hardly any good ones left, not a lot of love for em' around here though.
That Honda 90 is nice! I’ve owned a few, and have a 72 behind the shed in rather poor condition. Speaking of falling out of airplanes, in about 1975, I was a young kid and my family was visiting Dawson City Yukon (we lived in Alaska). We saw a helicopter carrying a Honda 90, probably to a mine, or back from one. Anyway, the rope or harness let go and that thing definitely hit 90. It fell hundreds of feet, then hit the steep banks, right on its rear wheel, on the opposite side of the Yukon River, and slid down maybe a 100 yards. We were watching from the riverbank on the town side. A guy in a boat went across and, afterwords we inspected it. Crushed the rear rim right up to the seat. Not much to salvage except a few front end components… pretty epic day for us tho. Did not expect to see motorcycle being carried by chopper, let alone see it fall. Thanks so much for your fun videos!
All I can say is wow!
I had forgot they have a hi /low range.
And other said wait what… they have a lower range?
Got 2 of these in my family's shop buried under 20yrs of crap one day I'll have the chance to snag em up
My 1976 Honda XL100 would do 58mph when I was in full tuck, one arm cradling the gas tank, one eye peeping past the speedo lol. In 1976 btw.
Lol, once again, I'm trying to get some work done and then up pops a video from Jenny's garage! I think I'll just take a peek and see what it's about and end up watching the whole thing lol!
Awesome little bikes. I wish I still had my 81 CT110
If I were in Cali I'd give you $2000 as it is. Nice job. Don't sell it. Your son will want it. My son never stops reminding me that I shouldn't have sold my twin CT70s and my restored CT90. I regret it everyday.
What it is worth depends upon what part of the country you live it Right now around Ft. Worth Texas, you can get anything from 1200 to 3000. The price of them is really going up.
I would love to buy George. I could really use something as cheap on gas for work.
It is worth 1100 dollars all day long as long as it keeps working as well as it just did. It looks fun to ride. I wish I had one.
Great day out with the family, little Jorge is probably worth more than you think.
Lucky! TH-cam recommend me a channel I actually love. Thank you for uploading more often! Enjoying all the new content.
Such great machines, I wish our youth was still adventurous enough to enjoy these machines like we did, what a joy.
did you not watch the video?
Thank you guys for another great video. As always thank you for your continued great videos
Awesome you guys are uploading frequently!
Great video & fun bike! Ohhh the memories come rushing back on my 1981 Honda 110.. It was my first bike at 11 years old.
those bad boys go for $3k with plates around here in SoCal all day.
Dude your kid grew into a grown ass man since I last remember seeing him on the channel! The kid can ride
Family fun, priceless 👍👍
Sweet an upload from one of my favorite channels! You and Camera Girl passing the love of motorcycles onto you Son is awesome! That camera shot at 8:29 of You and Camera Girl starting your ride in the parking lot was such a cool shot.
It's great to ride at the empty road like this
You guys are so much fun what a great video!!! love them
These were called postie bikes in Australia, ridden by postal workers delivering mail. I did Christmas deliveries a couple of years while studying. Superseded by a horrid scooter thing, more recently by an awful 3 wheel electric thing. Posties I've spoken to hate them for a number of reasons.
Undervaluing it at $1100 I believe
So nice to see the trail 125 also again! Love your content!
I won’t lie… That was a beautiful ending, and some thing that I know some of us will never experience.
Keep up the fun, keep it alive for the rest of us even if you don’t film it
I my area in Northern California these are offered on Craigslist between $1800-$3000 in this condition. Of course I don't know if they actually sell.
I bet it could handle 80 mph it’s a sturdy chassis it will need a bigger engine to go that fast
From my experience, if the tank is rusty its the ultra fine rust that gets through the filter and causes it to flood from the rust on the float needle
Feel special being here for a new video! XD Wow how this makes me miss my old Trail 90!! The sound of winding out the engine before shifting... memories!
$1100 converts to just shy of $1500 canadian, which i think youd still easily get for it here.
My 67 is screaming at me! Thanks guys....
Love the Video , CT 90 is a comfort bike , you can have more fun , I Like the high low select on the trans . Classic Honda's are so Cool and to have one so clean would be nice .It's a keeper .
I bet that's worth 1200-1400 to somebody near you.
Will be very memorable moment for him.
In 1982 in junior high I bought my first bike - A Yamaha trail 90. I've been hooked ever since.
Yamaha didn't make the trail 90. This is a Honda
@@GuyWithACube I know this is a Honda, but I had a Yamaha, maybe a Trail 70 ?
@@michaelb.42112 It was an 80cc called the Yamaha Chappy.
Man, nice did you change that 20 year old oil !
Nice video!
Good family time too.
The special guest was a nice suprize!
It se
Looks like camera girl has a new bike to ride to get the mail
$ 1300 sounds about right paypal or cashapp?
Keep the little Honda , camera girl needs it !
Just cause she smoke don’t mean she broke
I don't know how those bikes work, but aren't you supposed to use the clutch lever, ever? Nice bike though.
Has no clutch lever. An automatic clutch and a centrifugal clutch in series. Watch the previous videos.
it's 80 kph not miles..
For $700, you got such a steal...
"Good man." Perfect.
Always good to see you guys back at it!!! Keep up the great work god bless
I haven't watched your videos in a couple months, watching this put a smile on my face. Great video, great parents. I love your content and can't believe how big your son is. Can't wait to make these memories with my boys
Yet another great video 👍
Wow does that thing bring back good memories
Is it road-registerable? Needs indicators
That's a boy?? 🤔
I think you're about dead on with the price. Cleaned up real nice and it's crazy that the original seat is in such great shape
Family times are the best times dudes !
Jake for President
I was thinking 2K.
80 Kilometer per hour (49.71 MPH) speedometer. Generally, out the door, the CT90 might hit 50 MPH on a slight downhill.
"How are brakes"
"never tried them"
Heh
Idk CT90 prices kinda high just for having original parts and running with a clean title. I’d say Jorge worth 2-2.5k.
1.1k would be a heck of a deal.
Dang he grew up!!! So glad he wanted to be on this video for the 1st ride❤
Its 80 kilometres per hour get your head shaved 😂
Your Son Is A good Rider.
Best day ever
"It's not a big motorcycle,
Just a groovy little motorbike.
It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys,
That two wheeled bike.
First gear,it's all right
Second gear,I'll lean right
Third gear,hang on tight!!!!"
The Beach Boys
Well I got a bike from scrap yard couple years ago as a throw in for something I bought
CT110 1989 frame
When I looked closer it has a 1969 CT90 engine in it ? Go figure
Engine was seized solid
So that was when I found your series on Elsa some years back
Followed what you did un seizing yours and rebuilding top end, carb, exhaust etc
Now I got a running mongrel 6v to 12v hybrid
Was fun journey
So thanks for your vid’s
Much appreciate your knowhow sharing and humour
All the best to you and your fam from Australia
Just good to see, well done George, and well done the Jenny’s Garage family. Nice job well finished. Hope to see George out frequently. How about a family picnic ride-out? Les in UK 🇬🇧
One day its 50cc, before u know it, it will be Moto GP😁....p.s your son, very progressive, salmon tshirt and long hair.
The last two videos have been telling me I need to get back to my CT90 project. Just can't figure out a strange electrical issue. Battery ground sparks while hooking it up and then the battery/rectifier heat up quickly.
Beautiful family moment there captured for all time. Where (generally) do you guys live now as that looks beautiful and a perfect field for a CT90!
Only 1100? I got ripped off and paid 1500 for one 4 years ago from a guy who said he tuned it too to bottom. Later that summer it died. Had to spend another 500 to have someone get it running again. Sleezy dude who sold it to me really ripped me off
Your kid is awesome. Just a little mix of you both. And brave and confident.
What a great video! I absolutely love watching your channel, whenever you upload a video I’m always going to watch it no matter what, no matter when
Love a new Jennie’s garage video. The intercoms are very cool, what brand are they?
I must have missed some vids, or maybe i am so old i am getting senile, he's gotten so Big! He was just a Baby last Time I saw him! i don't have any trail 90's yet, i have a pair of Van vans - they are the fat tire 90's from 72. But i don't have any trail 90's yet. i have something similar it's a Honcho. to change it;s gear ratio you take the chain off and add in the section provided and then lace it back up to a second sprocket that lets you go up further in the mountains. it;s a mega fun bike though for sure. Books high also. LOL Fun video, thanks for sharing your adventure.
Always a great day when you guys publish a vid! Thanks! My uncle had one of these on the back of his RV, I did any jobs I could for him, to earn ride time. He worked me pretty hard at times, I smiled through it all, because the pay off was freedom on a Trail 90!
Your explaining carburetors and attitude has helped me get over my “don’t touch it attitude” thanks for breaking it down into dummy terms, it helps allot
“How’s the brakes?”
“Ummm, I don’t think I tried them.”
“Good man”
Awesome
Had a Honda xl 100 , 1972 . Had lots of fun . Wish I could find one now.
One of or local junkyards is a motorcycle junkyards and there are about five of these out in the brush. None of the running and probably not salvageable, but as a Super Cub owner, it was still fun to see them.
Come on guys raise up a child as you know they ought to go, see Jn.15;20 and 1 Cor.11;1-16 as well as Mal.3;6 and Dan.12:3 on what a shame is to Jesus.
Your son seems to be a nice kid.
Crazy how fast they grow, right? I remember he being pretty much a "late toddler" not long ago.
That thing is priceless. You guys both have one to team ride.
I think with a clean tank its $1500 all day in bidens economy
I remember you jumping with joy when your son took off on the PW50 for the first time....he's certainly come a long way! Raising 'em right.
Camera girl is sweet. Many men wish they could have relationships like yours with your wife being so active.
The bike is soooo nice after you sorted it looks great. I remember back when I had a Honda 90 step through well that’s what we called it in the uk. Lent it to a friend of mine who basically revved it fully whacked it in 1st and pulled a wheelie for 3 meters the crashed it straight into a wall good times
Always enjoy your content. Jorge goes ok ! Hi From Northern Ireland.
It’s always awesome to see a young rider discover a love of motorcycling. This is exactly as I started- riding a Honda Cub around my uncles field in South Wales (much colder though).
Genuinely it’s lovely to see, keep it up you guys.
C'mon! It can easily to 80mph .. in the back of a truck.
They're worth a pretty penny over here in the UK, so could always export it to some mug (not me, I'm poor!) over here at a huge profit... :P
I'm pulling one of my Z50 out of storage tomorrow. Honda bug is tough to kill.
