Some during the firmware update the unit stop at procedure ,stuck ,and make us to send the unit for repair or replace it,we are lucky to have the warranty
Any Firmware update to ANY DEVICE can present/ cause an issue, usually it is NOT the FIRMWARE but rather a condition that takes place to break it, a Power outage, a power spike, a disconnect before finish, to name a few causes. Having been in the I/T field over 28 years I have done MANY firmware updates, they always pose a risk. If there was a real issue with the firmware, we all would be hearing a LOT MORE of it. especially on the EESDR forums, and the FB groups, and even in the Alpha Testing group which I am part of, not to mention the publicly available BUG TRACKER reports and postings. Sorry you had an incident, but sounds like a one off

Are there shortcuts available? V2 has this or can you send command to the TCI port?
