It's all fun and games until you come up on a 30mph turn at 110mph with no skillset. That happened to me while riding with a buddy on backroads I didn't know. Flying on my new 2021 GSXR 750... The bike was totaled but I'm still here by the grace of God. Experience it completely different than maturity. You don't know what you don't know or haven't ever experienced. That throttle is super addictive and you just don't realize how insanely fast these bikes are until you own one.
@@ChargerInHell Lol. Three times the posted recommended speed (90 mph in a 30 mph corner) can be done by any actual rider on a competent sporting motorcycle.
On a busa, you must respect the bike, and learn from it. I have been riding busa as my first ride for the last 10 years , it is a heavy bike and you need to have core strength to be able to handle it(not kidding)
I would recommend that you get yourself some formal rider training so that you can learn to ride. "Respecting" an inanimate object is silly. Motorcycles can't "teach" you how to ride, qualified riding coaches teach people how to ride. And it doesn't require an unusual amount of "core strength" to "handle" a Hayabusa. With the heavy stock cast aluminum wheels, it can take a fair amount of upper body strength to effectively steer a Hayabusa at speeds above the top of 5th gear (185 mph and up), but lighter magnesium or carbon fiber wheels greatly reduce steering effort at those speeds.
No matter what wheels you put on Busa - you DONT need physical sthenght to ride it at any speeds above 20km/ hour. Miniature girl can do it. Where you will need strength is if you get off balance during ultra low speed maneuvres and bike starts to fall. Then you will need both length and considerable sthength in legs to prevent it from hitting tarmac
I bought a new Hayabusa as my first motorcycle. I used it for everything from getting my motorcycle endorsement, to earning my expert road racing license on it.
Well I started on 600 katana. My friends gave me a crash course on my street. Wish to God I had followed my first mind and got the busa first. Listen to haters and didn't. That bike suck never went over 90. I didn't go to a riders course til 2010. I had my busa 3 yrs. I ride my busa the same way I rode the 600. I had that bike a week and was sick everytime I look at it. It depends on the person not everybody addicted to speed just because you start out first on a busa. It all goes back to the individual. I know a female started out on a busa first bike no problem never went and now she has a harley.
I'm in the UK and I'm getting my basic license in 9 days, that will let me ride a 125cc, I've already bought the bike, can't wait to ride it, I can get my full license at 24 which for me is in November, the hayabusa is my dream bike, whether it takes 10 months from now or 10 years from now, I will have one, I cannot wait to start my biker journey 😁
Started my journey on a Ninja 650, bumped to a GSXR 600, GSXR 750, Ninja ZX14R, and now own the ZX14R and the new gen 3 Hayabusa. I did it the right way for me. I didn’t know what I didn’t know so glad I did it this way. And this was over the course of 2.5 years and about 14k miles before I got the big boy ZX14R. - Amy
I love your views on this! I went to a dealer in Phoenix, and as a new rider, my dream bike is a Busa, (but it’s a dream), but I was looking at a Ninja 300, and the salesman was like,” Dude, you’re going to out grow this bike within a week!” We laughed, but I explained to him that I wanted to Experience before I get my dream bike! He then told me about the R6 he had for sale😂 I’m not going to lie, he had me thinking for a minute!🤗 Well soon, maybe by January, I will be getting my first bike and I’ll let you know what I get! Be safe out there!
dude hope you didn't got a 300cc, i got a 250 and i hate it, you should never start on a 250. you need a 650cc. 300cc are garbage and dangerous in my opinion because you cant keep up with trafic a lot of times making it very dangerous pluss a lot of other negative thinks...... bottom line is that here in us small bikes suck. i regret listening to youtube and getting a small bike. everything on youtube is about speed..... crazy people......you ride a motorcycle like you ride a car, cars can do triple digits speeds but you rarely do it, i drive a dodge ram with 375 hp and that doesent mean that i floor it all the time just because i have the power. Enjoy riding not speeding. If your only purpose is riding your bike to the limit, you should not ride. i can promise that you will die on a 250cc the same way you die on a big bike if you are not a responsible rider. this ranting is for all the youtubers out there who think they know everithing but they don't.
125 cc might be accused of not “ keeping up with traffic” , not 300. Any 300 has enough power to keep up with traffic unless that traffic is made up of bunch of racerboys with nitros
I just saw this video today for the first time and what got me was not only is he the same height as I am but the music that he's got playing in the background is so good. My dream bike is a Hayabusa but I'm learning how to ride on a 97 Suzuki GS500. I hit the like button I subscribed and if you're looking at this video you should probably do the same thing too. Thanks for the material and I'll be looking forward to your new videos coming out. You should put the name of the songs on your profile on your page somewhere because the soundtrack was lit!
3-4 years ago i was riding a honda cb600f4i for a couple of months. No license, no insurance, no anything. Now i am thinking to buy a Hayabusa gen 1 , its been years since i ride last time. What is your opinion about that?
Phy Mo I would suggest for you to take a class, and then consider a Kawasaki Ninja 400. Light and nimble enough to get you where to need to go. Also I would suggest to stop trolling my channel
I started on 250s, that was right for me. In my opinion, the Busa is not a good first bike. I say this as general advice for the masses. There is always an exception to the rule. That being said, I love my Busa more than any bike I've ever owned, and truthfully I don't want to ride anything else.
Love your views. Busa has ways been my favorite bike. I have only dreamed about owning one due to right finances. I am no beginner. Owned a CBR for 4 years back in 2006..been riding a Suzuki burgman 650 lately. So what about me? Lol busa's looking pretty good. Lol

For anyone that wants to ride a bike, with no experience, go find a dirtbike and learn offroad. You will learn the fundamentals of how motorcycles work. Better to learn in a field than on public roads with traffic. After that, get what you want. But whatever it is, RESPECT that bike!!!! It WILL bite you in the ass if its been disrespected!!!!

Dude don't ever try to convince afool about foolishness!!! It's down right stupid to get the fastest heaviest bike to be your first bike and all you people who says that your girl friends and wives did it doesn't mean that they are good riders ,look at the 2019\2020 busa ride and you would see the vast majority male and female cannot operate that sexy machine properly does can a light weight boxer compete with a heavy weight?? Lol why are we talking about an obsolete bike with less than 200hp. You can simply walk away with a zx10 with more hp, lighter with more advanced tech. Let the bike go. It's day is over. Plus too stereotypical!
Becausa hyperbikes like Hayabusa ,Zzr1400 are probably the most universal bikes available out there which can do anything - tour , commute, hooligan, twisties and has plenty of style. No matter that your zx makes mabe 10 more hp - who cares!?
It depends on WHO is buying it as their first bike. I personally know people who started on superbikes and Busas and they are good riders now and didn't have any problems maybe they could have learned faster or been better by now on a smaller bike and maybe not. On the other hand there are people who have a hard time handling a 50cc moped, and go on having a hard time with it for years and years - they should drive cars. And then there are just idiots who will do idiot things no matter what they are on, they have the physical ability to ride well but not the mental. And honestly I think the Busa for a "mature" rider may actually be better than a supersport or a superbike, yes it's big and heavy but it's also stable and very docile if you aren't stupid with the throttle. It isn't snappy like a 1k or a 600 R bike, the suspension is more forgiving, and the long wheelbase makes it less squirly. All that being said my go to bike to start people who want a sport bike is the F4I, cheap, reliable, friendly and very easy to handle, comfortable, and fast enough to be fun for more than a couple months while not overwhelming people right away. Any of the 500-800cc "F" bikes will do this job quite nicely for most people.

Why in the world would you be going 110mph in a 30mph zone? You are just reckless. That's all.
Ain’t no way to take 30mph corner with 110mph even if you have skill.

Yup. Wrist-length gloves + textile jacket = non-rider posting riding "advice" videos.
Thanks for the information man, very useful. I do want a Hayabusa eventually, but I think i'll go for the GSXR 600 instead
Should you buy size 13 boots if you're a size 8, Just to look, cool?
OK if you have never ridden a motorcycle you shouldn’t start on a busa but if you have any experience it’s not that bad because of the mode select
