Iconic song and iconic British Rock Band. 1.6 billion views and that is just on TH-cam. 3 times number 1 in three different decades, same exact version of this song. I am always blown back when someone hasn't heard this song because it has been popular for almost 50 years and has been in several movies. Thank you for your reaction
you have John Deacon bass guitar, Brian May, guitar , Roger Taylor drums and Freddie Mercury vocal. Queen is beloved for their vocal harmonies and also the charismatic stage performance.they sang together from the early 70s on up to 91 when lead singer Freddie Mercury died of Aids. it is impossible to put them in any music category because every song was different.
I’m always surprised when someone hasn’t heard Bohemian Rhapsody. The a cappella opening is just the lead singer harmonizing with himself using taped overdub techniques. He, Freddie Mercury, is considered to be a rock icon. Queen is known as legendary by their genre bending inclusion in each and every album. Rock of every persuasion (prog, metal, glam, pop, ballad) plus opera, jazz and some hip hop and other tracks that can only be categorized as Queen..
Welcome to the world of Queen. Iconic band. Freddie Mercury - vocals, John Deacon - Bass, Brian May - Guitar, and Roger Taylor - drums. Freddie is my all time favorite frontman -- true legend. To me there is no other than Freddie. You may not have heard of Bohemian Rhapsody, but I'm pretty sure you have heard their music. We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions. Do you mind me recommending a few songs for you to watch? Under Pressure live at Wembley (the 5:56 minute version the interaction Freddie had with the crowd was amazing), Another One Bites The Dust live at Wembley, Somebody To Love live at Montreal (I just love Freddie and Roger's vocals together -- I think they compliment each other), White Queen live at the Odeon and of course LiveAid. This is just the tip of the iceburg of a long list of songs. Great reaction. I enjoyed it.
Hey, Woah! glad you listened to this.. based on your age, I can't blame you for not being familiar with a song from about 25 or more years before you were born... lol... Queen is a very famous "classic rock" band.. and this is probably their most famous song.. I still would guess that you do know some of their other "hits".. without knowing Queen... I won't bother to list them, b/c I guess others will... I just look forward to more of your reactions.. rock on, little brother!
Queen formed in 1970 in London is made up of four band members Freddie Mercury lead singer diploma in graphic art & design, Sir Dr Brian May lead guitar PHD in astrophysics, Roger Taylor drums degree in Biology after changing from Dentistry, John Deacon bass guitar first class honours degree in electronics, all multi instrumentalists all inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame one AMAZING band x Roger & Brian were in a band called Smile with Tim Staffell, Tim left & Freddie who was a fan of Smile was waiting in the wings joined Roger & Brian to form Queen with John joining later in 1971 x
"Bohemian Rapsody" is a Queen classic probably one of her most famous songs worldwide worldwide success between 1975/1976 Although it is a very beautiful song I have other songs by them that I like a little more like Somebody to love Fat bottomed girls Teo torriate save me and the duo We will rock you / We are the champions They complete my Top5 of Queen I suggest any of these for future reactions. In addition to his greatest successes I had the opportunity to see Queen live at their peak. when I visited my country Argentina in 1981 and I went to two of their concerts "Bohemian Rapsody" was Queen's first #1 single in her country, the UK, and spent 9 weeks at the top of the charts. and it was succeeded by a completely opposite song by a totally different contemporary group but they have some interesting coincidences The song was "Mamma Mia" by the Swedish group ABBA. a separate comment It was precisely the latter that I wanted to talk to you about. ABBA is a quartet basically made up of two musicians, composers and backup singers, and two female lead singers, who in the beginning were also couples. ABBA has around 20 world hits between 1974/1982, His first hit was "Waterloo" exactly 50 years ago. and his biggest hit is "Dancing Queen"; and after almost 40 years they recorded again and released a new album "Voyage" in 2021 That's why it's my suggestion that you react to "Mamma Mia" It is a contemporary song on the charts to "Bohemian Rapsody" but recorded 6 months before her and over time, after ABBA, she was much more famous because a theater musical and two movies were made with that title all with ABBA songs
somebody to love is a great song check out the live Mantral version from 81, if you are interested in one of the best stage performances ever check out the live aid from 85
@@woahicyyt6085 My apologies for my mistake.. but. ..you should have said a LITTLE something about the stereo affects of the song... especially the opening part..

I suggest a live performance of one of their many well known songs, “Somebody To Love” Montreal 1981! Cheers!
Yep - for sure one of the best.. but that entire concert was fire... "Save Me" is another favorite of mine...

Yessirr
"Bohemian Rapsody" is a Queen classic
probably one of her most famous songs worldwide
worldwide success between 1975/1976
Although it is a very beautiful song
I have other songs by them that I like a little more like
Somebody to love
Fat bottomed girls
Teo torriate
save me
and the duo
We will rock you / We are the champions
They complete my Top5 of Queen
I suggest any of these for future reactions.
In addition to his greatest successes
I had the opportunity to see Queen live at their peak.
when I visited my country Argentina in 1981
and I went to two of their concerts
"Bohemian Rapsody" was Queen's first #1 single in her country, the UK,
and spent 9 weeks at the top of the charts.
and it was succeeded by a completely opposite song
by a totally different contemporary group
but they have some interesting coincidences
The song was "Mamma Mia" by the Swedish group ABBA.
a separate comment
It was precisely the latter that I wanted to talk to you about.
ABBA is a quartet basically made up of two musicians, composers and backup singers,
and two female lead singers, who in the beginning were also couples.
ABBA has around 20 world hits between 1974/1982,
His first hit was "Waterloo" exactly 50 years ago.
and his biggest hit is "Dancing Queen";
and after almost 40 years they recorded again and released a new album "Voyage" in 2021
That's why it's my suggestion that you react to "Mamma Mia"
It is a contemporary song on the charts to "Bohemian Rapsody"
but recorded 6 months before her
and over time, after ABBA, she was much more famous
because a theater musical and two movies were made with that title
all with ABBA songs
You are not giving this song any respect by pausing it. Just relax and listen to message and magic .
