oh, thank you to John Deacon for the bass on this baby! and of course, Brian on Red Special, Roger banging those drums, and Freddie playing the vocals! Great song.
This this song can be found Live at Montreal 1981. A great concert where Freddie sings his favourite song that he wrote ( somebody to love ) please check it out you won't be disappointed.
Awesome reaction! You should definitely check out "It's Late", it is also a blues rock song. Another great blues rock number from Queen is "See What A Fool I ve Been" the BBC version. From the 80's check out "Gimme The Prize", that will definitely surprise you!
A LIVE performance cannot compete with this full, wild cut... BUT it offers a very fresh take at the same time. Queen had a way of crafting their live performances - they were never on auto pilot about it. On this song, everybody gets a LIVE spotlight moment. And about Freddie - When people say he "embodies" the music, LIVE at Montreal particularly (or Milton Keynes), captures that on the mark. With the lyrics sounding "cryptic" it really allows the visual with the bass, the beat, the guitar to speak. Sublime.
In my opinion this song is about the pressure for a well known band such as Queen to keep on delivering music that the audience and/or the press wants to hear and what gives the band their income (the business). The colours red, green, white and black are references to their stage lightning rig in 1978 and 1979. Mack is of course the new producer and the Shack - as mentioned earlier in these comments - refers to the Sugar Shack club in Munich, where the band used to hang out.
One of my favorite Queen songs, thank you ! Yes there are two good live versions : Montreal 1981 and The Bowl 1982, please react to them (if you have to choose, the first one), you will be surprised how good they are on stage, fabulous…
This is a great “deep track” - check out “It’s Late” and “Who Needs You”, two excellent deep tracks that you never hear on the radio. I DID see the guys live when they toured for this album - they were awesome and they DID play this song (I think they played nearly every track).
Live in Montreal fantastic!! A medley, book ended by Now I’m Here! The song evolved from a jam session in the studio while Queen members were bladdered! 😂 Anyway, I have an opinion about the lyric “dragon on my back” .. could be Brian May’s fire-breathing Red Special (guitar) strapped to his back!! 🐉🔥 “It’s hot, it’s mean!” 🎸💨😮💨
Dragon Attack came out of a jam session. The band had been spending a lot of time in a bar called the Sugar Shack in Munich. Reinhold Mack was their studio engineer. John Deacon the bassist said this was his favorite song to play. I would love to see you react to It's Late by Queen, from their album News of the World. Subscribed today.
Came out as a double A side with Another One Bites The Dust and we know which one got the air play, To me one of Queen's coolest songs up there with Let Me Entertain You
Dude!!! Did you come on the 1970s movie “The Warriors”… I remember the famous line you said in the movie, “warriors come out and play hey, warriors come out and play yay”
Thanks for your reaction. Really appreciate your thoughts on this not just playing and saying Hi and Bye😉 How about ‚I can’t live with you’ from their 1991 Innuendo album? Take care🤘
The live performance of this song at:
Montreal in 1981
…is FANTASTIC!

Yes great track and I also like Spread your wings from that album.
Jam sessions. Not meticulously crafted.
They were all drunk and having a good time, and it shows.
Hey there!! This one is Fantastic LIVE. Highly recommended ✌🏼🌷👑
Milton Keynes 82’ Live❤❤❤
Great reaction. I also absolute love this song. And there is (at least one) live version of this which is really great, you will love it.

Let Me Entertain You is like Joel Grey in Cabaret. He loved Liza Minelli.
It’s Late, from their News of the World album, is a wonderful but underrated Brian May track, so please react to it! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
