WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.
I have so much respect to Nephi because he's put picture to just cover Siti Sarah 'aurat'.. He knows the purpose of wearing hijab among the Muslims.. Thanks Nephi..

I cried 2 days straight because of the sudden news of her passed away.. she's not only talented but she's a very nice person. I feel so sorry to Shuib and their children but what we can do Allah loves her more than us. For sure she's in heaven now InsyaAllah. She inspired a lot of people now ..indeed she's bidadari syurga❤️

Let's also pray her newborn baby that she gave birth to while fighting with covid until she passed away will stay healthy & can grow up well since they had to do c-sect to save the baby so it's not affected. It's premature like around 6/7 months (?), the family haven't get to see/hold the baby yet, the doctors are still taking a good care of the baby to make sure his condition is stable.

'Arwah ...' could be translate to 'the late of ...' - got similiar meaning
Arwah literally means ‘soul of…’, commonly use to refer to a muslim who already passed away..
Nephi if you really understand the meaning of that duet song, it is really sad. Sarah’s part is more like she will gone and shuib’s part is like he will waiting and love her

Kesetiaan - I first heard it on the radio without knowing who the singer was. Really love the song. Later then I discovered that Siti Sarah sang it. That's the first time I knew Siti Sarah as an artist. Another song to check out from the album (enjoy it also) is Ku Teruskan (song also writen by Ajai).

I don't think the term angel is appropriate to use as a meaning for "bidadari", This can lead to confusion for non-Muslims. The most appropriate meaning for a Bidadari is the "heavenly lady" in english while the sentence angel is specific for Malaikat which no gender.
Still crying to this day since the day she passed.. cant stand it when i saw the vids of her children crying
“Kesetiaan” was her debut song. She debuted in the same year with Misha Omar. Prior to that, they always competed against each other in singing competition. She won Best New Artist in Anugerah Industri Muzik but on the same year, Misha won AJL with her debut song: Bunga Bunga Cinta (where Kesetiaan failed to move on to Final).

Before she was in induced comatose, she posted an ig story to reach out and help anyone that need works or helps of any kind. It's sad that her didn't survive from COVID-19, but as a Muslim, I believe that she is now in better place. Death due to child birth and death due to contagious illness are two of the glorified death. She will be guaranteed straight to heaven.

Kesetiaan is a song composed by Ajai. Apparently Ajai offered the song to a few artistes, some very famous ones too. However, they could not deliver it as how Ajai wanted it to be.
Siti Sarah was recording for an album and I think Ajai was the producer. Gave it to her and with a few takes, it became a big hit for Siti Sarah.
Arwah as referred to means "the late" and referred to someone who has passed on.. Like Arwah Siti Sarah means the late Siti Sarah.
