Her “powers” are likely going to be explained by Isu technology, since that would look like magic to people in the 1500s. “Possessing a cat” sounds exactly like controlling an eagle in past games, only with a cat companion instead of being an eagle bearer. This is a very interesting response! I personally am more excited for AC Shadows but Hexe does have some interesting ideas going for it. Hopefully, we get more and more back to grounded, roots feel. We need to see more diverse parkour moves. I would love to see that
If it's like that then yeah. Not like ac 3 Washington dlc or ac valhalla Odin dlc where it's a magic ability. Like I liked how it was made a dlc but if the immersion ain't right, like certain abilities have to feel realistic to me. I like the idea of a assassin who masters in chemicals, make potions or things they can use to manipulate or to control their enemy as a ability. You remember an assassin's creed revelation How ezio was able to make Bombs and like the mechanics? Bring that back in the game if they're talking about bringing the original Mechanics back. But as making potions or gases. Maybe make it to where your dude is like A master Of controlling people By anti psychotics or By psychedelics Or poison. It would be a lot more immersive if they don't go by the unbelievable content. In my opinion I think if they went by like a magician style character Like a character that does illusions and does things to trick their character Would it look a lot more realistic. They need to take away the mechanics of the fighting style. They implemented from origins to Valhalla. Bring the fighting style back from the original games. Make a weapon wheel. Make? It to where I can use the hidden blade as a weapon and fighting and not just as assassination move. Make it where I can pair and counter and mess around with my enemy a lot more. Not this where I shoot a character and then it shows me how many points of a critical hit and like to me that is not realistic. If they bring back the ship mechanic, Implement Black flag And vanhallas mechanics. I want to be able to crash my ship.Or find any other enemy ship and board it or jump off my ship and swim to another enemy ship and secretly take them all out. What they should add and black flag was the power to be able to control other pirate ships. Or to be captain of other ships. Or like if there's certain weapons or certain decorations.Or certain things that you have to do for example everyone played any mad max for the playstation? You know how you went after like the big guys in the game and you can get like the Is decorations for your car? Do it something like that. I just hope it works out. Mirage I couldn't even play. I was pretty excited about the idea but it just didn't even look worth my time. I like how in the newer games. They feel a lot more open world and a lot more stuff to do. I just don't like the fighting mechanics. Also in assassin's creed unity.I believe it adds merely good mechanics for the parkour. Assassin's creed 3 The climbing tree mechanics felt really amazing, And in the newer games climbing like the mountains and stuff like that felt really good too. I just hope it turns out pretty good. Cause when I first heard the announcement of a witch trials style game I got pretty excited. But reading about the details they've been saying I have back in four thoughts
Exactly. it's going to be like an Apple of Eden device. However that doesn't mean they won't exclude some 'superpowers' in order to sell some microtransactions.
Dunno. I think it's broadly not the same type of players that are hyped by either of those 2 games. And it would be nits to expect such a thing, they do feel like 2 different games. As for me, I'm hyped about Red, because I got that itch lately for some shinobi action on the rooftops and samurai carnage in the streets of Edo japanese cities, and curious towards Hex as there are a lot of good and interesting things they could be doing with it
I don't understand how By what i've heard hexe will have some magic shenanigans and won't be so realistic while red seems to be a stealth focused story game
Thank you! I try my best to always edit what I feel fits best so I appreciate you taking notice, have a great rest of your day and thank you for the kind words!
How does one get good at the editing then? Like how do you match the footage - because I try. But I can never seem to get it right. Masters such as the OP are too advanced for me haha
I would like this all more if the "supernatural" element of Hexe was superstition. The time period Hexe is likely in was during an era in which Germany was filled with superstition. I could easily see an Assassin taking advantage of this, using alchemy and animal taming to instill fear into her enemies, creating the myth of a supernatural witch that attacks from the shadows. That is the kind of "supernatural" I would like to see in Hexe. An assassin that uses stealth, science, and a hint of video game logic to take advantage of a superstitious society to achieve her goals. Hexe is still years out so we'll see...
@@isaklal518 She'll most likely be targeting Templars and their allies who have infiltrated the upper echelons of the church and society as they're the ones who started up the Witch Trials and saw the Witch Trials as a good thing as it's "getting rid of the trouble makers and will lead to the creation of a god-fearing nation where there is no chaos" complete disregarding that the fact oh yeah innocent people who are Christians mostly young adult women who were of the peasantry are getting unfairly accused of witchcraft and heresy, thrown into BS Kangaroo Courts, getting found guilty due to Kangaroo Courts equals no chance of getting found innocent, and unfairly burned to death via unfair execution which at the time would be burning at the stake. Any guards that attack her well they chose to attack her so it's their funeral. What's she supposed to do let herself get killed by guards.
Calling it now: magic is an interpretation of isu technology and “witches” are just those with isu dna. Elsa is one of them and joins the Creed to fight against being hunted
@@shadow_crne1030 They merely mentioned seeing the cat...perhaps possession in general will be an ability so you could posses a cat or a bird. It seems what they wanna go for with Hexe is a darker, more supernatural take on the franchise...sure Isu tech could be confused as magic and they'll likely lean into that...but showing off possessing a cat in a game where you play a witch makes more sense than showing off possessing a bird like an eagle...black cats and owls have a pretty long association with magic...for good or ill.
The crowdy environment and blue filter and cool assassin gadgets making unity super cool The character size , sprint , parkour and stealth ….all are top notch in unity I still love that game
@@khornelordofskulls7090no they have higher isu dna...you know the isu dna that allows most protagonists to see enemies through walls and lets them use pieces of eden. but you dont care :)
@@dreadheadtajie2186there were always limits to the isu. They were just better humans with a sixth sense. Not able to jump off of massive cliffs without taking damage, or able to become invisble, slow down time... if they could do that, then they shouldn't have struggled against humans in the war. Assassin's creed has always walked the fine line between historical realism and science fiction. With odyssey they threw that away and turned it into pure fantasy
I think if Ubisoft want to make Elsa have magic, it should be explained that she is actually a piece of Eden herself, or a precursor, sort of like how the sages keep reincarnating
Well, I mean... There was always a bit of magic in AC. Magical vision that highlights enemies and allies? That later evolved into showing their paths in the past and where they will go in a minute. That later evolved into showing enemies through the walls. And whatever rpg fantasy fuckery happened to the series in later years. You could argue that was just some kind of an ability to notice everything, but Desmond could see invisible symbols of 16, so it is a bit magical. And they openly called it a sixths sense or something in AC4. Not to mention controling birds
i'm also more hyped for Hexe than Red. it's my kinda atmosphere and location. i love the sound of Hexe going more linear, but i don't like the sound of "magical-type" abilities. if they make the "powers" make sense, like it being more of other people's paranoia or Piece of Eden, without them going overboard with it, then i'm ok with that, though i'd still prefer a classic Assassins/Templars conflict without any kind of magical voodoo supernatural stuff mixed in, or at least have it toned way down like in older titles.
If they add a fear system in AC Hexe, they could re-use that system in an Aztec AC game... I mean has anyone ever heard the sound of an Aztec death whistle... I f*****g love it.
This magic will probably end up being an another Piece of Eden, like the Apple, The Sword, The Shroud, Excalibur, Staff of Hermes (whom was an Isu that we knew as a Messenger God of Hellenic Pantheon) and the lantern from Dead Kings, which had a specific ability to control bats if I recall correctly. Most of the magic in the series comes from the Ones who came before. Heck, we played as basically gods and half-gods in the last three games (Alexios/Kassandra, Eivor being Odin and Basim being Loki). Why are people making such a big deal of something that was pretty much the part of the series since day 1? We just got to know more of those Isu as the time went by. Anyway, thank You for the video, Mentor. Edit: I am looking forward to it once it goes on a sale (I am broke and can't use the same tactics as other Assassins to get more money without legal consequences)
It baffles me how people complain about supernatural abilities in a franchise where magic mass murdering artifacts are present. All of the characters have supernatural abilities to an extent and Elsa having special powers wouldn’t be too crazy since the Isu is a big part of AC.
There’s actually a debate in a discord server that I’m a part of saying that the system could be similar to Ghost of Tsushima, with most of the supernatural abilities and fear being a result of gear and reputation-with the more overtly supernatural abilities being the result of a PoE. Or be similar to the Ghost Stance.
Unpopular opinion: They need to bring the RPG formula back. I want to explore medival Germany. In the original games, you don't really explore, you just run around collecting the secondary content. But in Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla I was genuinely excited to discover new areas and see what awaits in the unknown.
As someone who is really passionate about the witch trials, I want to see them done right. No issue in having magic using Isu technology or something, it would absolutely add to the fantasy if done right, and the thing with the cat actually sounds cool. Since this is Ubisoft, I don't trust them to not mess it up.
I would like to see gameplay that focuses on light and shadow. Hiding in the dark not just to feel like an assassin. But to elevate fear to the enemy. Not knowing where you are. You can pick the targets one by one. Something like what the splinter cell remake will try to do.
I will say the magic ability to be able to control the cat to distract enemies kinda sounds cool especially with the fact we can already control a drone bird (lol) but I hope thats the extent of the magic stuff. Definitely pumped for that game tho.
It could work well as a piece of Eden if it was done very carefully. The possession reminds me of the Apple of Eden’s ‘mind control’ , so if it’s like that, it could work. As for progression of new abilities, either finding new pieces/shards of Eden or Elsa could be able to read Esu and studies it, editing the piece of Eden she has. It’d be interesting either way but I prefer the grounded historical experience more
possessing a cat to distract enemies is honestly better than having teleport insta kills. AC already crossed the supernatural part, its best that they use it to enhance game play and have more creative options to assassinate. im hyped for both red and hexe
I really want the game to be good. I studied the witch hunts in Europe for my senior thesis in college, so im excited to see the series that got me into history visit such a cool time setting, but I've been really against supernatural abilities in AC for a while. I can accept the explanations for them being that the Animus is glitching or can't keep up so it does what it can to fill the gaps, but it still doesn't sit right with me that Kassandra was a demigod and that Evie could turn invisible and this new protagonist might use actual magic. I vastly prefer the older games' grounded feel. Great video btw
Really good video here! I always find it interesting to listen to your thoughts. About the supernatural abilities, I think it could possibly be like the mind controlling with the Apple Of Eden. Remember, the game is set in around the 16th to 17th centuries. So, the Templars and Assassins have access to far more Isu technology, vaults, and human technology. This could mean that "Elsa" could (either): have access to a piece of Eden, like a necklace (maybe her family is linked to the Brotherhood or the Order), she could have been experimented on by the Brotherhood or the Order (dissection was picking up around these times, as the Church had banned it in the past, so people were doing all sorts of experiments... maybe someone put a piece of Eden inside Elsa?... some Isu drug found in abandoned Isu vault or organic materiel like the tree from the AC3 DLC). Or it could be that she is a sage, or she is just gifted with Isu DNA, with an adapted version of Eagle Vision (the Sixth Sense of the Isu is the precursor to Eagle Vision - Knowledge). Knowledge is enhanced awareness of one's surroundings, the universe, yourself, other living beings, and time - as well as communication with all these things. Eagle Vision is a dumbed down version of these due to Isu-Human hybrids and because of multiple generations since the hybrids, the Isu DNA is weaker in humans on average (overall). Some, rarely, like bloodlines who have somehow kept some strong Isu DNA have people who have more access to Isu stuff; look at Desmond's ancestors: Edward went into the Observatory (handled that mess), Connor fulfilled an Isu prophesy, Ezio fulfilled an Isu prophesy, Altair fulfilled an Isu prophesy, and Desmond was, well, yk - it all lead to Desmond. They all used Isu tech and were somewhat resistant to others using it against them - of course not fully. All this seems impossible - how it all lead to Desmond, right? It was because, using Knowledge, the Isu looked into the future to via the Sixth Sense, and tech, to communicate with the future by sending messages (the holograms we see). They also used time capsules via vaults and Isu architecture to help fulfil their prophesies and predictions. A dumbed down version of this procedure is when Altair got his glock from peering into the Apple to look into the future. The Isu scientists looked at all the possibilities, planned all the events, built things were they should be, so that things would go the way they wanted - of course it wasn't perfect, as the Isu are not "gods", which humans, before the Renaissance, used to think they were. Some isolated groups after the Renaissance may still think so. Desmond's bloodline lead to the birth of a Sage, Desmond's son. Connor's daughter had an adapted or mutated version of Eagle Vision - she could see through the eyes of an eagle, and communicate with it... maybe Elsa is related to Edward Kenway, leading to Connor and then Connor's daughter? Speaking of Edward, he said that he had his Eagle Vision from a young age as a combination of "all the senses together", which other assassins take years to learn or never learn at all. On the topic of Connor, the Apple in the DLC shows Washington and Connor a future, like an extension of Knowledge, and that future is 100% possible unless they throw the Apple away, which they do. We see that other members of Connor's tribe would not dare get the Animal Spirit powers because it would ruin them physically and mentally, but Connor does, and Connor is fine as long as he doesn't over-use his new powers. This shows that Connor has an affinity for these animal powers, and he can summon spirit wolves too. This DLC, as in the vision, is canan, but not to what happened. It could've happened, but Washington and Connor made a decision to circumvent this future. That Red Willow Tree of Isu origins was still there, but Connor just didn't go there and drink it's tea. This doesn't mean Connor cannot get these powers - he just chose not too. The writers of AC3 confirmed this to be canan, which is implied in the DLC too. This could be revisited in the future - maybe following Connor's descendants. This is a bit-off topic, I realise, but it relates back to the idea of animal powers, or animal-controlling/communication powers, and how the Isu link to them.
People complain to much about realism and historical facts. But seem to forget that in the RPG games those “fantasy’s “ are related to important lores / myths and the way I see this. This game might indeed be based on some witchcraft lores which might be pretty cool tbh. And actually it wouldn’t be the first time you have some animal control skills.. in mirage or odyssey you could tame wild animals to help you out. You had eagles as your spy / friend. So idk why this would be a problem
I thibk it would be intersting if the main characters gains supernatural powers due to touching a peace of eden. Then she'd be hunted by templars due to being isu enhanced and a dnager to normal people (like how the order of ancients were in legacy of the first blade in Odyssey) and they would end up being proven kind of right with the main character getting more dangerous as she levels up to fight them.
I agree the magical elements and abilities will likely be powered by a piece of Eden. When I heard that the game would have an emphasis on horror my mind sort of went straight to Hellblade. I imagine there will be strong pagan mythological elements as well.
I feel like if they explain that the protag's "magic" is simply from the use of an eden piece and they do it so that it actually seems that way and not typical ubisoft "NUH-UH, HE'S ACTUALLY JUST MOVING SO FAST THAT THE ANIUMUS CAN'T RENDER IT!!!" bs, i think the animal controlling would actually work well with an AC game. Imagine being able to possess an eagle/general bird to get better scouting like in Oddessy/Origins, or being able to possess a rat and crawl through smaller holes in walls to enter locked rooms and retrieve, say, an amulet inside. Or even just possessing a cat and distracting guards by knocking a glass from a shelf like the video mentioned.
i’m hoping AC red will have more environmental stealth and maybe for the first entry in the series they could actually add more realistic lighting like the ability to stealth in the shadows and extinguish torches etc.
im a witch myself and im so freaking excited for this game, you have no idea!! AAAH! I cant wait to explore the history. I imagine using potions to cause people to hallucinate or using your assassins abilities in a new witchy way. Also i really hope theres more actually assassining, and sneaking.
I like the idea of the protagonist having witchy abilities. I feel like all Assassins Creed games have had supernatural elements, first of all the fact that you could easily take out an army. Syndicate had the grappling hook and the invisibility cape, Mirage and Oddyssey they could straight up teleport, in Origins you had magic weapons, same as Valhalla, and in all of them you get various kinds of wall hacks. And let's not even get started on the fact that the whole game is a power struggle between humans and aliens with basically magic tech, AND you literally fight gods in all of the new games.
The supernatural thing, as the information says as of right now, feels very exciting to me But it will very likely go out of my "area of excitement" soon, I'm feeling
I feel like the Assassin’s Creed community is too conservative. I personally LOVE massive open worlds and dialogue options and RPG combat system. Besides the trains in Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed was mid to decent for me until Origins and Odyssey. Those two games made me LOVE it. Even Valhalla. I only tolerated Mirage because it still had a large open world with Baghdad although I am disappointed by the lack of variety in climate and scenery and choices and freedom and world size and terrible combat.
Yeah odyssey and origins have been my favorite behind black flag. Valhalla was good but something was a little off for me and I can't quite put my finger on it, and while mirage was a good game imo I found myself missing the larger maps/side quests and rpg style of odyssey
Mirage's combat was pretty good on Hard difficulty. I don't think you understand what was lost, though. In atmosphere, tone and in the movement depth. Movement which a lot of people who don't love the early entries don't realize how deep it was, combined with excellent level design. Instead of building on top of the ideas of past entries, by creating a solid stealth system, creating bigger emphasis on emergent gameplay and freedom of play, and adding even more depth to the parkour, we got games that took away from all of those aspects in favor of more traditional RPG entries. They pretty much abandoned much of what made the series unique. They ended up creating something else, which while I appreciate, didn't really build on what came before. All of that said...I think a combination of the best aspects from the RPG entries with the best aspects of the older entries, and we'd have a great game. I personally think that building on top of what was good of the older entries is most likely to create something wholly unique. Imagine an immersive sim style AC game, with systemic freedom and emergent gameplay akin to the older Thief games or the Dishonored games. Or even the modern Hitman games. That could be excellent.
I'll bet it'll be set during the Trier witch trials in 1593. With the major city being set away from Trier, around Cologne or Mannheim. Maybe even Luxembourg.
Ok first of all we don’t talk about odyssey and secondly the pieces of eden are some sort of technology that humans don’t understand, they’re not magic. I also think that Ubisoft should’ve put a lot more time and effort into each AC game. If Ubisoft are going for a game with a darker tone that has magic and supernatural things and maybe a different kind narrative then I think ubisoft should make it a new ip and not a part of ac. Even though mirage was a call back to the older games, I still think ubisoft has ruined the series with their latest releases, maybe it would’ve just been better if Ubisoft ended the ac series a few games ago.
If the abilities the character has are coming from a piece of Eden, it should be fine. If she is a witch, literally one, this game will probably only be liked for the witch fantasy. I was hoping she was an assassin that possibly was told to steal a piece of Eden, and she used it accidentally leading to people calling her a witch. Would be a good setup imo. Game will be receiving a lot of hate.
I'm all for the occult and all. But I think "Elsa" can utilitize some tools that can allow her to give out the illusion of the supernatural. A good example of this would be the use of trained animals or hallucinogenic drugs.
You know that character in WD3 with the mind control, thats whats is reminding me this off. Was fun to use and for me it didnt really break immersion, afterall its WatchDogs not Assassins Creed ;)
Honestly, why even call it an assassin creed game. It can be called something completely new. Example shadow of Mordor is not an assassin Creed game or a Batman game. It’s shadow of Mordor.
If magic is being implemented in a way that’s more historical instead of fantasy, I think it’ll be fine. Possessing animals, seeing visions, producing illusions, communicating with entities for information, using potions and poisons, altering states of mind, levitating, teleporting, rituals for assassinations or necromancy are all more in line with what people actually thought witches were up to. If they implement these things in a way that has hard rules and costs associated with it, I think it’ll be ok. So long as it’s not high fantasy fireball tossing and lightning summoning, or where magic is used as a lazy way to explain why the narrative progressed the way it did, it’ll be fine and maybe even enhance the experience.
If handled well I thing magic could be super cool and interesting, giving the game a fresh feeling from other games but we’ll have to see as we get there
The recent ac games you're able to place objects strategically around the world. Maybe messing with the guards things and getting them to fight eaachother. Like in a camp or sum'n
After seeing cute ezio as your channel logo for so long i kinda imagined that as your face now it takes me a minute to realize this is a MasterAssassin video 😂
Ubisoft has killed Assassin’s Creed(especially with their tragic mishandling of Desmond and Bayek), and they purposefully let Disney jerk them around with Star Wars: Outlaws. These games will suck balls. Not trying to be mean, just stating the facts.
Hexe sounds really interesting. The "magic" could be great or could be silly - I guess the proof will be in the pudding - but I'm mostly really liking what I've seen and heard about it so far. Perhaps it helps that I'm a big fan of Anne Rice's The Witching Hour. And personally, when I hear Elsa, my first thought is Elsa "Ah, Venice" Schneider.
I mean, we were able to control an eagle in previous AC games. My guess is that we will have a cat instead of an eagle in that game. That would fit to the setting obviously, but we had a bird in every AC game so far. I think magical attacks would be annoying in this game. I think brewing potions or crafting specific things magical items would fit. What do you guys think?
Honestly I think it sounds interesting. I’d be more concerned with any magic stuff if we only got an AC game every few years or if this were a huge mainline entry. It sounds like almost a spinoff, but either way Ubi is doubling down on the IP and it seems like we’ll be getting titles pretty frequently, so there will be something for everyone. And I’ve long said they needed to do this. Or at least switch off between the rpg style gamea and the older more linear action titles to both give something to everyone on both sides and to keep the IP from becoming too stale or fatigue setting in. If we can get mainline entries like Shadows, a more linear story with some unique elements like Hexe, and maybe another old school style game from Bordeaux it could go a long way. The AC series is well defined for variety due to it’s structure. Different historical setting, different story, different cast of characters each time, while still being in the same world. And they have an opportunity to explore a few different styles of games within the series. And maybe when they get a protagonist that sticks and hits with players they can spin that off into another Ezio style trilogy. There’s a lot they can do with it. But we’ll have plenty of AC coming up so I’m not concerned if one entry tries something a bit different every now and then.
I’d love to see you just play through some of the old ac games cause It’s pretty sad when you die in the how long can I challenges and we don’t get anymore of the game.
I don’t mind the magic part of the game. Ngl, the series always played with magic, ie pieces of eden., the series being grounded when it came to the history, and even then it was loose.
what they could do here is they could let her have a loyel pets that she can sees true there eyes true magical abilities but not possessing them that will be stupid and far away from assassins creed or maybe a crow that can help her detect enemies by seeing true his eyes or maybe she can order crows to distract enemies or something like that
I’m someone who actually prefers the smaller more condensed maps as opposed to the larger bigger maps cause I’m somone who likes to 100% complete everything and ultimately get the PS Platinum trophy but if the map is too big then it’s too overwhelming and takes too long to complete
I mean I think ppl didn’t like mirage tp coz u not playing as witch during the witch trials like hexe…. I think it makes sense to actually have magic powers
Ac should take a break and perhaps try recent historical stories wherein they have world with traverse in early century horse carts and newly inventive cars from early 19th century like mafia 1 or 2. If not, build genuine imperfect developing world of asia like India, or smaller countries in EU (Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Spain), alaska to do the same thing they have done bringing hard-core stealth and story into the mix. Uncharted lost legacy did it with creative artwork to show developing chaos finding structure in its own unique complex way.

Calling it now: magic is an interpretation of isu technology and “witches” are just those with isu dna. Elsa is one of them and joins the Creed to fight against being hunted
In other words, Bloodborne with assassin's not hunters lol

Yes but the AC logo is an eagles scull (Origins). Cat's don't fit in here.............

Assassin's creed has always walked the fine line between historical realism and science fiction. With odyssey they threw that away and turned it into pure fantasy
It wouldn't really be a witch ability if it came from a piece of eden.

But also yeah, that was just a normal trait for Isu. For people though it is magic, same with all the precursor technology
i'm also more hyped for Hexe than Red. it's my kinda atmosphere and location.
i love the sound of Hexe going more linear, but i don't like the sound of "magical-type" abilities. if they make the "powers" make sense, like it being more of other people's paranoia or Piece of Eden, without them going overboard with it, then i'm ok with that, though i'd still prefer a classic Assassins/Templars conflict without any kind of magical voodoo supernatural stuff mixed in, or at least have it toned way down like in older titles.
If they add a fear system in AC Hexe, they could re-use that system in an Aztec AC game... I mean has anyone ever heard the sound of an Aztec death whistle... I f*****g love it.
it never came to mind how cool an Aztec ac game would be, there's just like TOO many settings that I'd love to see ac genuinely tackle
I hope it's a piece of Eden and not her having unexplained powers.
The one from unity controlled, locusts I think
Because it wasn't used as a cop-out in the early series, the inconsistent writing has really fucked up the lore.

I could only hope so.
@@65firered It would certainly be a refreshing change of pace
I'm glad the game's description sounds like a return to form
Unpopular opinion: They need to bring the RPG formula back. I want to explore medival Germany. In the original games, you don't really explore, you just run around collecting the secondary content. But in Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla I was genuinely excited to discover new areas and see what awaits in the unknown.
To be fair we saw in vallhalla that magic already exists so it will be cool to play as a witch.
It’d be interesting either way but I prefer the grounded historical experience more
Recently reactivated my love for assassins creed in between work. Thanks for the videos man
What are you talking about - 4:07? Havent you seen all the mythical creatures in valhalla or odyssee? Very realistic approach ;)
possessing a cat to distract enemies is honestly better than having teleport insta kills. AC already crossed the supernatural part, its best that they use it to enhance game play and have more creative options to assassinate. im hyped for both red and hexe
I just found your channel as if I found a treasure. Great work ❤

Great video btw
i wouldn't be surprised if these witch assassins used the apple
The DLC for AC3 was pretty magic-like in my opinion with the different teas, but I guess it was “only” DLC versus the full game?
It was "Only DLC" in the same way that "Jack the Ripper" was "only DLC"
Vibe and atmosphere in the game with feels will be dark and love that for it
People complain to much about realism and historical facts.
I'm hoping its more like toxic weapons, inhuman armour, sound and such to use the fear of witchcraft from that time as an additional weapon
I just realized he’s playing dishonored music in the background of the video I thought I was going nuts
This is the only video to pronounce it correctly! Everyone else thinks its called Hexi 😂 well done sir 👌
I love the idea of a witch assassin.
i’m hoping AC red will have more environmental stealth and maybe for the first entry in the series they could actually add more realistic lighting like the ability to stealth in the shadows and extinguish torches etc.
The shadows mechanic is being added in ac red. So good news for you
im a witch myself and im so freaking excited for this game, you have no idea!! AAAH! I cant wait to explore the history. I imagine using potions to cause people to hallucinate or using your assassins abilities in a new witchy way. Also i really hope theres more actually assassining, and sneaking.
Between Hexe and Red, I don't know which has me more hyped!
The supernatural thing, as the information says as of right now, feels very exciting to me
But it will very likely go out of my "area of excitement" soon, I'm feeling
If ac hexe is focused around the dark middle ages and witches it would make sense that Elsa is a witch that can use magic
I don’t think they meant taking full control of a cat, I think they meant you could give them commands to do stuff
I hope but then why use the word "possess"?
I seen tons of creators say you can pet a cat or dog in certain games like it's a big deal so why not just be the cat.
I think a cat just will like a Jumper from Watch Dogs 2
It’s different let’s not forget Connor Kenway assassin creed 3🤷🏾♂️ being able to form into other things it’s not so bad
well if it have horrorious scenes with bloods ceremony, it should be good
Are they trying to make a souls-like assassin's creed game with codename hexe
Controlling an eagle in the RPG games is just fine, but controlling a cat is where we draw the Line?! The total absence of logic is astounding.
I'll bet it'll be set during the Trier witch trials in 1593. With the major city being set away from Trier, around Cologne or Mannheim. Maybe even Luxembourg.

I’m just waiting for black flag reboot when they lose all there money
After what we have seen in Star Wars Goofysoft trailer the main protagonist will look like an 80+ years old misogynistic goblin
regarding the ability to pocess, it just sounds like the eagle visions of the recent games where we look throught the eye of the birds
Elsa is a "witch" so I'm not surprised on the magic part.

Love the dishonored gameplay and theme in this! I think ac could take alot of inspiration from those games gameplay wise
Honestly, why even call it an assassin creed game. It can be called something completely new. Example shadow of Mordor is not an assassin Creed game or a Batman game. It’s shadow of Mordor.
4:54 Possessing your eagle / raven has been a part of the last 4 AC titles, doesn’t sound as far fetched as you’re making it out to
If magic is being implemented in a way that’s more historical instead of fantasy, I think it’ll be fine.
If handled well I thing magic could be super cool and interesting, giving the game a fresh feeling from other games but we’ll have to see as we get there
When I heard animal abilities/possession it reminded me of Connor's abilities from AC3 Tyranny of Washington DLC
The recent ac games you're able to place objects strategically around the world. Maybe messing with the guards things and getting them to fight eaachother. Like in a camp or sum'n
The AC series is seriously in jeopardy.

I really hope the main city will be cologne. The cologne cathedral would be absolutely amazing to see in an ac game.
I feel like Ubisoft should make the location close to the Harz mountain range in northern Germany and add a mission related to 'Walpurgis Night'
Maybe "possessing" the cat will be similar to controlling the birds in the recent games?
Sure I guess. I just don't see the point of controlling it. Just have the player give the cat a command to distract.
