I started watching SC2 back in early WoL. Winter is hands down the best caster in the world. Others do some things better. In total, no one is as good at this.
Its never a dull affair when Dark is involved. That man makes a show out of every one of his matches. Serral is the undisputed GOAT of modern day SC2 and I watch his matches wondering if anybody has the skill to "take him down this time". For Dark matches, on the other hand...its a matter of "it doesnt matter who wins or loses -- this is going to be fun to watch". Your commentaries only add to the enjoyment, Winter. Cheers o/

If you're thinking steak - def go with the Ultralisk, just look at those juicy behinds. For the premium cuts, you want your young, pre-upgrade Ultras: the speed upgrade makes them too muscly and hard to chew; carapace is basically inedible, and when it gets too thick, it traps in a lot of the musk, so the meat develops a certain... odor. Though, of course, some Korhal gourmets swear by it and always order their Ultrasteaks "with the whiff". For your leaner meats, you'll want to go with Mutas or Broods. Mutas are basically like wild fowl: muscular and tough, so a bit of a challenge for most home cooks. Broods, however, are fattier and thus a lot easier to not overcook (think chicken thighs). By the by, you'd think Corruptors were in the same category, but you'd be wrong! When grilled, their hind tentacles taste just like jumbo squid, while the main shell hides a soft, salty mass not unlike a mussel. Goes best with some lemon and white wine.
@@kathorsees Hydralisks for everything, Ultralisks are so big their meat would be too tough from handling that carapace weight, meanwhile hydras are medium sized and packed full of meat.
I don't know much of anything about starcraft 2, but I still watch these when dark gets on. I dunno if i ever played this game I feel like I"d be a zerg player. But I did watch some coaching abotu zergs a few times. I think about that coaching guy who does the Starcraft2 guides to Grandmaster with Zerg and all the commentary in my head is, "Inject, Inject, Innject, build drones/roaches. Control A past them and watch them die." Anyone else or is that just me?
@@jeffreyrook8073 correction of obvious error without berating or belittling, is appropriate. Lots of viewers get SCVs, Probes, and Drones mixed up. Lots of noobs could get pretty confused by the comment too, since he doesn’t explain that he saw 3 banelings hunting SCVs, Winter looked elsewhere, and the Terran SCV count suddenly dropped suddenly from 66 to 51.
Normally I make it a point to never click anything with "Trust me" in the title.. but when it is coming from Winter.. he is probably the ONLY content creator/caster I actually trust. Great game! 👌👍
If I was terran and I saw that number of swarm hosts and the damage they were causing to my fortified defenses of siege tank and plantary, I'd have quickly transitioned into battlecruiser and ravens. Battlecruisers can one shot yamato snipe the swarmhosts, and defend effectively against them as they fly, ravens can also fly through the swarm to drop turrets around the swarm host mass, trapping and detecting them if they try and burrow (ofcourse scans work for detection as well). Also battlecruisers can tactically jump into the swarm hosts defensive location behind the line, while marine, marauders, and tanks push the front against the more traditional ground army mix of the zerg. I think terran could have won if he made the transition to Cruisers after the first or second swarm wave. The resources lost were worth the value of fusion core and even air armor and attack upgrades!
Hey Winter. Never played SC2 but have been enjoying your casts for a while now. Great commentary, you're a very witty guy with a skillful turn of phrase. Cheers from New Zealand

Blizzard should just make a new terran unit that costs 1gas and 1 mineral, kills everything with one shot, cloaks, teleports, burrows, flies, and can't be countered by anything.
Well even if we all agree that ghost are strong, byun still lost 2 to 1, and the one he won was vs a weird strat... So "maybe" late game terran entirely depend on ghost, and if they nerf it maybe tvz will become completly unplayble for Terran.
Ghosts aren’t OP. They are spellcasters that don’t fly, and require insanely good micromanagement to be an effective late game unit. Without intense micro attention, they’re just beefed up marines. And while you’re doing all that micro and dropping, hot pickup, stutter stepping and sniping to maximize efficiency, your opponent is just a-moving zealots or DTs or banelings & zerglings to harrass your random expansions, and able to focus much more attention than you to their macro, and finish with 10x your bank. You see Byun lose his games because he’s out resourced. He kills more efficiently, but this comes at a cost.
@@djdoc06They’re long range spellcasters that are surprisingly beefy due to not counting as light. They can also just turn invisible and walk backwards with medivac support for healing or flying away in a pinch, and charging through Terran lines to try to get at ghosts is a great way to lose all your stuff. Against Zerg at least, there’s not really any kind of straightforward answer that isn’t reliant on the Terran player making big mistakes because scans make sure it’s extremely difficult to do things without Terran having perfect information. A unit that kinda beats everything unless you make a mistake is lame, and I don’t think ghosts are really dancing on a knife’s edge to pull it off.
@@BigLeafyTree it’s impossible to manage more than a couple ghosts without making mistakes. And any units that cloak requiring enerfy has to be micromanaged in that alone.
