I've never been more invested in wanting a stranger to catch a fish than after the missed eat around the 25 min mark. And then to just follow up with a great cast at a good fish. Felt like I was on the skiff with you guys. Always keep your head up fishing, keep morale going, and the work will pay off. NEVER sell all that camera equipment - keep sharing these awesome experiences with us, its greatly appreciated.
In my humble opinion, a trip like this is literally as good as it gets. Camping, fishing and hunting, cooking outside (EVERYTHING tastes better cooked outside), great friends, even though I'm ALWAYS alone on these trips. When I finally die and go to heaven I pray I spend the rest of eternity exactly like this!!!
I thought I wasn't going to like this very much, but Scotty's filmmaking had me hooked right from the start. Specifically the editing. Dude just keeps getting better. His ability to tell a story is next to none!

Had high hopes to fly fish while here but ran into some barriers and never made it happen. So, I can't express the gratitude to see this video and another side of SC I didn't get to see. I’ve long had the itch to fish the low country flood tides. You guys just took me along, and I thank you. Very well done video that had me paying attention for the entire trip. I enjoyed this for not only the content and education but for the entertainment too. It’s great to know that folks that know what they’re doing suffer the same snafu’s that I do, like line catching on something it never has before or a favorite hat getting ripped off your head before you can get a hand up. I now have three heading north in the flow of the St Johns River that suffered the same fate, never to be seen again. Again, thanks for the ride along, very good work!!
I live near Savannah, Ga and seen a couple guy’s fly fishing for reds. I just wanted to learn how to fly fish for them myself and stumbled across your channel. I can’t stop watching. Great videos and content guys!

Heading down near Charleston SC for two weeks of chasing reds next month. The experience you captured so well. Tho I live in trout territory like you I somehow spend a lot of time thinking about flooded flats, tailers, diggers, cruisers & happy fish❤️.

2:56 I'm sure you're just unaware because you don't live in the area, but we get flood tides year round, every day, typically two a day. I say typically because they're 13 hours apart
Being from Charleston, these tides are no joke buddy! Been stuck before for 4 hr once. Gotta know what your doing. Also, FYI, some days we only have 3 tides that day instead of 4. Keep up the awesome content. Can't wait for the short bus crew going back for BIG BULL TROUT, AKA Killin Bullies.
