Kickboxing is its own sport separate from Muay Thai that was inspired by the karate, kung fu, and taekwondo craze back in the day and has been around in Japan since ancient times, so idk about being "designed" to make Thais less competitive. Also Tawanchai and Marat recently beat Sittichai so there's a lot of cap in ur rap
