This show is too good to be this underrated
I dont want to be a hater but… this looks really corny. First off the artistic style is too creepy for me. Second, the acting and plot seemed B-list and predictable. Just my opinion though. But tastes aside, it’s not underrated, its just not exceptional work in any category. Its not even an original aesthetic conception.

@@ErgoDog no i didnt see the first season. I actually was an illustration major and now i do 3D renders/animations of google/nest products, so i am really interested in the power of 3D/toon shading/rotoscoping or anything in that area that utilizes technology for art. One of my illustration teachers is one of the artists for Dreamcorp LLC on adultswim, and i have a lot of respect for that style and how they leverage its capabilities for story telling. I actually do like the premise of the show, i think utilizing the wisdom of the past, rescuing that and unlocking it for the future is a great concept! Totally subjective but i felt like it was just a little too on the nose or something. I feel a little guilty for my first comment, i dont wanna be the guy that shits on something other people like, but i am the type to criticize because i always want to think through how to make things better. 🤷🏼♂️ maybe ill checkout S01

My mom and I watched season 1 together and were rebuilding our relationship through our talks after every episode, she passed a year after my dad from covid in Sept. 2021, a few weeks before her 52nd birthday. We were both anticipating the second season, the last episode when she goes to (hopefully) meet her late father left us wanting more. I just realized season two came out in April. I'm going to be thinking of my mom the entire time I watch this season. Love you, miss you mom. (hoping she can read youtube comments in the after life) *crosses fingers*

Because people in our modern society would rather watch things like love island than something deep like this show that makes them think about the nature of their reality lol😵💫

I'm surprised by this trailer! This show is amazing, but it seems to me it didn't need a continuation.
Also, if the series is going the way the trailer showed us, it's gonna lose one of its most important aspects - the mystery about reality.
Yeah it seems like it’s going to ruin the perfect ending of season 1, I’m very worried
No everyone likes open ended endings.
But also shared psychosis delusions exist, and both are genetically predisposed to schizophrenia. It may be that both are lost in the trauma they share and coping, too. You never know--or at least don't know until it comes out.
It leaved an unanswered question at the end os S01, because the very theme of the show is not about answering such question, but how one deals with not being able to answer it. This second season apparently answers such question.

Kinda hope this show ages like fine wine. Possibly gets ingrained in meme culture in the future and finally gets the spotlight which it rightfully deserves. Some shows/movies are trashed or ignored during its release mostly since it tends to be ahead of its time or barely promoted. I'd like to imagine this being relevant like in 5 years when ppl are too bored and give this a chance lmao

While scanning Prime shows I noticed an animated capture of Undone that looked like Bob Odenkirk, a fav of mine from BB and BCS. So glad I started watching. I was hooked. The visuals are great, scripting sharp and funny. Alma's magical journey from start series one to end of two is rooted in an emotional reality to which I think we can all feel a connection.
They're doing like a Scanner Darkly thing, that's cool

I was happy with the ending of season 1 honestly, but I'm curious about this new season
The whole appeal, to me, was trying to figure out if she was schizophrenic or actually had time traveling powers but now I guess she just has powers and so does her sister? Even though the sister told her she was mentally unwell and needed help when she told her about her powers.
Now it’s just a superhero show.

No, not necessarily. The entire conversation the show provokes is just that, what are mental illnesses like schizophrenia really? Is how we understand the world through the psycho-social lense of western civilisation the universal truth or are there complexities about our reality that are overlooked, misdiagnosed and misunderstood. It's just a trailer, it does not necessarily showcase in detail how they'll be handling or expanding on the orginal theme so that hook might very much be there. Maybe it's all playing out in her head, maybe her reality is so warped that she's clinging on to the lonely delusion that she's not alone in this and that someone relatable and close to her like her sister can share the same experience as her, or maybe she really isn't mentally ill and she has otherworldly abilities, maybe it's a mental breakdown caused by the awaking of this gift, maybe she's dead or dying and she's tripping balls, making up an unhinged dream, trying to deny the inevitable by holding on to stitched memories.
I worked as an animator on this show, just watch it is all I can say :)
