Cheese sticks need to be eaten hot and fresh while cheese is still melted and stretchy. The sauce was either marinara or pizza, not ketchup!
I believe ketchup is the Brit version of hot sauce
@RichardGriffis learn something new every day , thank you 😁
Yeah cheese like that is like rubber if you don't eat it right away. Totally different taste hot compared to cold.
I agree. Ask what sauce is recommended for each thing. They miss out on the full experience by not checking.
@@HeisenbergXx 100%
Probably a marinara sauce.
not probably, it is. fried cheese is always dipped in marinara.
"There's too much cheese..."
There is no such thing...😂,😋
Dip the pretzel in some yellow mustard.
Cheese sauce or caramel dip
or cream cheese.
Mustard? The sauce of the devil. That stuff is nasssstttttyyyyy
"It’s a little oily, don't you think?"
"Well, yeah, that's what deep-fried is..." 😂😂😂
Y'all are too cute.
That wasn’t a fork it was a spork
Made famous by KFC
Everything tastes better when eaten with a spork.
And according to WALL-E, it goes between the forks and spoons.
Every American is familiar with the spork. No matter what the school served for lunch, on any day, it was accompanied with a packet containing a napkin and a spork. 😊 I have never had the chance to try a fried twinkie but the most distugsting fried food i have ever seen was at a local fair. I live near a fairly large Amish commmunity and for donuts and pies they are the BEST! However, fried lard was just an item i couldn't try! Glad you two got to indulge!! ❤
Kudos to James for wearing a black t-shirt while eating stuff with powdered sugar.
I'm with you James. There's no such thing as too much cheese. 😂😂 🧀
One that does not sound possible is fried ice cream, but tastes good.
And you dont even have to go to a carnival to find fried ice cream. Just find the right restaurant.
Love me some fried ice cream.😂
Fair/carnival food is always great even if it isn't the most healthy. You'll always find something new that's deep fried. I hope you get to experience fried pickles some time. Nothing tops good old fashioned funnel cake and corn dogs for me though, but a good fried Oreo is pretty delicious.
I think that scientists know theoretically that there’s an upper cheese limit but so far all attempts to reach that level have been unsuccessful.
I agree scientificly speaking it can do with more cheese if I say so my self
I've been to a lot of state fairs and never seen a fried pretzel. My favorite thing is deep fried white cheddar cheese curds or the deep fried hot dogs wrapped in bacon. Yes.. artery killers.
I too am a fan of cardiovascular nightmare foods! 😸
deep fried snickers are unbelievably good
The fork? Is a "SPORK" you guys.
A new American term for you. Spoon+Fork=Spork
I absolutely love how he says the word gorgeous 😂😂😂❤ love you guys!
If they even like deep-fried Twinkies then they are now definitely honorary Americans.
Why do you all never ask what the sauces are when you're ordering your different foods?
I know, huh?
Because they don't use sauces.
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld what are you talking about? They have sauces in the UK! And even if they didn't know what the sources were, if it comes with the meal I would ask what they are automatically as soon as the waiter or waitress set the plate on the table and put the sauces beside the meal! So maybe they're just young.
@@normanmondydid you really just announce you're gonna stop watching a reaction channel because they don't use the condiments you want them to use on the food THEY are eating? 😂
They’re from the UK sauces aren’t the same there as they are here. They basically have two sauces in the UK, ketchup and mayonnaise. If we only had ketchup or mayonnaise as our only sauces we probably would set them over to the side too.
Looks like James is having a foodgasm from that pretzel
My favorites are deep-fried pickles and mushrooms with ranch dip and 🍺. That's more bar food than fair food, though.
Its Marinara sauce, not ketchup
Just to be clear we don’t really eat any of this unless it’s at a fair which most of must don’t even do with regularity . Maybe once a year. If at all
I must have missed something? Are you at a carnival in Texas, or are you somewhere else? I didn't hear you state where you are.
And this is not what the average American eats every day, this is definitely just carnival food. 😂😂
They know that.
Sporks!! (Which are actually nice for transitioning Archie to forks in a couple of years.) The sauce is probably marinara sauce or similar, and fried cheese is best just this side of palate burning.
Fried dill pickles are to die for! They’re great pub fare.
I’m so happy you’re both young… you still have the constitutions and intestinal plumbing to actually try all of oily, crispy, fried food categories we only have here: carnival haute cuisine and Big box macronutrients. (Crazy good stuff)
You're so fun on how much you enjoy everything!
I've never had any of those foods!!
It was more fun watching you enjoy it instead!!
Ya gotta eat fried food hot out the oil!! Pretzel needs mustard and Dippin cheese... Oreo and twinkie needs hot coffee, cheese sticks get marinara or hot sauce!! But the trick is hot hot hot!!
Next time try a little mustard to dip your pretzel in. It’s a game changer of flavor 😊
Need some cream cheese or cheese sauce for that big pretzel.
Yellow mustard
Beer cheese.
When you do these food tastings you should have them bring the food items out to you one at a time, so you can eat them when they are still hot. A lot of that stuff does not taste as good after it gets cold. Especially if it has cheese in it.
my favorites are fried cheesecake & fried oreos & fried PB&J
You guys need to try fried ice cream & fried dough w/powdered sugar
Fried dough known as Elephant Ears, my favorite!
@@user-dk8el9tt7m fried dough here in NY are known as Zeplolies
Elephant Ears is what we call them at the fairs in Northeast Ohio.
No such thing as too much cheese, unless it's meant to be hot and it's not. :)
Deep fried dill pickles. My daughter-in-law opened our eyes to that wonder.
The red sauce is probably marinara sauce. It is kind of like pizza sauce or tomato sauce for pasta
The fried outer cored and softness and taste of the cheese cake on the inside makes fried cheese cake such an odd sensation and taste, I think they should've kept experimenting than going with cheese cake for deep frying.
Good thing that you're back in the UK for that free healthcare!
When you're sitting on the toilet in agony grunting, groaning and feeling like you're about to have an aneurysm then you know. You've had too much cheese.
That fried pretzel looked good.
Was that pretzel fried? Why would they do that? It looked like a regular soft pretzel. Those are amazing with sea salt and melted cheese sauce to dip it in. Like Auntie Ann’s at the mall!
You didn't try fried ice cream. I love it.
As someone who comes from Wisconsin, there is no such thing as too much cheese. We have entire drawers in our refrigerators that a reserved just for cheese. I think I have 5 different types of cheese in my refrigerator currently which is nothing compared to the 600 varieties produced in my state.
Big pretzel needs to be eaten with mustard.
'Hot Dog On A Stick' has really good cheese on a stick as well as corn dogs, they also have the best fresh lemonade.
Millie’s face after she ate the cheese is priceless😂
Too much cheese? My tastebuds say no. My innards, however... 😂
NEVER too much cheese! I'm with James lol
I hate Oreos, but for some reason I love Oreo ice cream, idk...
Can't believe the girl on the right ranked cheese last. Cheese rocks.
deep fried snickers or baby ruth bars are delish. Also deep fried pickles. yum
Too bad they didn't get to try Annie Anne's pretzels. The original with cheese sauce is the best!
Corndogs with mustard... fried pickles with ranch dressing
I always get a funnel cake at the fair, but I have never tried the fried twinkies or oreos. I will have to try those next time. The pretzel needs mustard on it.
I think the deep-fried cheesecake should have a strawberry sauce drizzled on it
In future carry an aluminum lined bag to keep everything hot in or cold.. they fold up when not needed
LOL! My god! How long were you two in America?! You guys took so many videos! I think you're finding why America is so overweight, it's insane the variety of foods that taste great even though they aren't very healthy!
Thanks you two. After watching this, I had to go to the fridge for a slice of Havarti. I agree James; no such thing as too much cheese!
Let's Go 200k!!👏🥳
Pluckers Wing Bar in Texas (and Louisiana) has the best fried Oreos I've ever tasted, plus they are served with a scoop of ice cream. Pluckers is also my favorite spot for chicken wings, far better than the national chains!!! If you get back to Texas, put them on .your to do list.
Food looks yummy!! You should do more dipping and the food should be hot for the melty cheese. Yummm. ps, I always giggle when I hear the words you use to describe food. You say "gorgeous", "nice", "lovely, "it works". We dont use those for food. ✌Hi from NYC
Love your videos. I am hoping that you get better sound recording as I struggle to hear your comments at times but other than that. Great and thanks.
You are supposed to dip the pretzel in warm cheese dip. The cheese sticks should be hot.
The only one of those I've never had is the fried pretzel.
Fair food.
OK people! It is against food law to eat cookies without milk or appropriate beverages. In America US we need our accompaniment (beverages, condiment, or sides) as much as the main feed... it is sometimes what gives it that true American taste or sensation. Especially with comfort foods always ask what it goes best with. Ask more than one person because some people do stranger things to their food than the ordinary American (and we do do weird!).
Lol, soooo I’m fine with frying weird things because basically, why not? I doubt that they all work but many times brilliant things come from ‘just trying’ so Kudos for “just trying” them. 😄👍🏼. (Pssst - never, ever deep fry my cheesecake)! 😜
James, if you wanted to experience a US style tailgate, look up Passyunk Ave in London. They are closing down a street to host one for the Philadelphia Phillies fans this weekend.
I've never had those items before and I don't think my appetite for them increased viewing this either. It looks mostly light a layer of fried dough has been put on top of the regular product, which essentially is just adding fatty bread to the items.. Not sure why that would make them better.
Don't forget about deep fried Oreos and fried ice cream
I live on the east coast of the USA and have never eaten any of those items fried but if you do want to try something fried, try fried bread dough. You have two options, one has butter on it, the other one has sugar; both great.
I live on the east coast as well....if you like sweet stuff, you should try deep friend Oreos! So good!
So James is the cheesy one huh. 🤣 I have noticed that James likes pretty much everything.
🌸 No such thing as too much cheese 🤣😂 I was thinking it before you said it, James. 💙💙💙
I agree with Millie on this one.
No such thing as too much cheese, I'm a huge cheesecake fan to.
I am an American and never tried any of those things especially fried Oreos. I am not a fan of fried oreos. I never heard of fried cheesecake or pretzel.
How do you know you're not a fan of fried oreos without tasting them first?
Great video as always you guys...keep it up...we here in the United States love you
Good stuff LOL. But to be honest, being an American is also the ability to look at something and go....nope. Just because we make it doesn't mean you have to eat it LOL
This is how you get fat!!! 😂 As a Californian, I don’t eat like this. Many eat organic foods more than the rest of the country… Most of our country considers us un-American because we don’t use lots of ice and have smaller portions unless you eat at a chain food restaurant. California is different. We have a health care system that will cover you when you get sick and have no money. It’s called Cover California. We pay higher taxes, but there is a benefit for that…
Excellent
that fried cheesecake should be dusted in cinnamon
Is Mozzerla sticks with cocktail sauce just a Northeast thing? I just realized ive never seen it anywhere else traveling. I usually make both i like to switch it up.
As an American I’ve never been a fan of many of the deep fried fair foods that are available. I think a bite of each one is good but about all anyone needs. After that it’s just too much. Coming from someone who can eat way too much of all of those things before they are deep fried, I suggest you just enjoy them as normal.
Never too much cheese!!
And now you know why the US has the highest per capita medical costs.
Fried pickles are great
There is definitely NO such thing as too much cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheese on a stick just sounds like mozzarella sticks. I used to have them in my lunch in high school. Pretty common.
Cheese on a stick is battered like a corn dog, and mozzarella sticks usually use a Panco type breading.
I don't see a fried snickers there. You're missing out.
No corndogs? No elephant ears?! No funnel cakes?!
In another video!
Whwre are you guys at trying this stuff. Make sure its all fresh when you eat it. And in the US we dont say its oily lol. We say food is greasy from the oil. And our cheesesticks arent that big. Cheesesticks should be bite size
I’m 75 and lived all my life in West Virginia minus 4 years USN and I’ve never tasted any of what you are eating.
You guys are going to give yourselves a heart attack
According to Jolly avoid the deep fried key lime pie,....not a good combination.
If it's fried correctly you don't taste the oil and it won't be greasy
You should've tried deep fried butter and deep fried beer
Never too much cheese
There’s never too much cheese
I've never understood the fascination with weird deep-fried stuff. But to each his own. I'm glad you liked what you got -- mostly.
it tastes better fried
@@BrandensOutdoorChannel Some things do. But fried cheesecake? That's just silliness. Still, I have no objection to silliness on occasion. And I certainly can see why THEY are trying this stuff -- good for the views. But I'd give all this stuff a miss.
should try Firehouse Subs
Very disappointed in Millie's lack of cheese appreciation. 😉
But seriously, a cheese stick should be eaten immediately, while the cheese is still melty. Millie might have liked that at least a little better.
I'd like to see some things you did on your trip.
They’ll be coming later on as they take time to edit :)
When you mad they don't make that in your country
You don't put ketchup on mozzarella they gave you marinara sauce.
