Great question...I'll think on that one. (first thing that comes to mind is....a "v" shape panel sewn to both sides of the problem area...possibly one side has some type of small closure so that you can easily put it on ....)🤷🏻♀️
I've had to do this with side-slit skirts. Also, I keep small safety pins on quite a few tops. Not that I have any cleavage, lol but it's just plain modesty to cover oneself.
When you are 5’ 1” and petite without huge GIRLS, all these clothes are made for Amazons who have large chests. It makes it very difficult to buy shirts that aren’t slit all the way to your belly button! 🙄 This hack is AWESOME!! THANK YOU TRACY!!♥️♥️♥️
Lay flat, right side out. Tape the seam flat together. Turn shirt inside out. Hand sew the seams together as...Turn right side out, take off tape✅ You are closing up the "slit", making it smaller✅ Hope that helps.
It’s great to see I’m not the only one that’s changing my blouses when the design shows too much cleavage! Beautiful blouse great hack! ❤
Right! Either that or buy new bras that won't show in the shirts LOL😂
@@TheSewingChannel I think your hack is the cheaper option 💜💜💜
Is there a hack for wrap dresses? Always crossed a bit too far down. Safety pins, just don't cut it. This hack is in the back of brain for future use.

i do this with many garments i buy as i am quite a lot shorter than the average person, i dislike showing too much cleavage

I cannot figure out what is being done. Makes no sense to me. I wish it did. Too many of my tops need an insert.
