• VLOG: My First Week of...
OMG! Have you ever wanted something so bad that it seems like it was so impossible to get it? Well, that’s exactly how I feel. I have been in two different nursing programs (RN) and (LPN), but sadly I failed both programs! these hard times of failing two programs it has affected me mentally for a very long time. Now I feel like it is my time to share my story with everyone. I’m not sure if this will be helpful but I do hope that people learn from what I’m saying and maybe others have the advice to share.
Please feel free to leave a comment down in the section below and also do not forget to hit the subscribe. See you soon!

Such motivation, Congratulations 🥳!
Thx
AMAZING! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!
I was CNA, failed out of RN school first time- so I did LPN- became an LPN, Went back and did RN bridge. Got my RN.
Then… got my nurse practitioner- family nurse practitioner- failed my FNP boards the first time. Passed the second time.
Now… I’m getting my psychiatric nurse practitioner certification. Done in April 🙌🏼❤️
So don’t give up !
Camile, MSN, FNP-BC
soon to be PMHNP-BC
Wow 🙌🏾. Thank you so much for this💕. Congratulations in advance.
Absolutely love this *screenshots* for motivational purposes while in school
You give everyone so much hope! THANK YOU!!!!

how did you do it
Keep going lil sis! You can do it! I'm 51 years old and in 3rd year of medical school. So you can do whatever you put your mind to. PLEASE DO NOT QUIT!!! Also, you should have brought the issue with your grade not being rounded up to your professor. How long has it been? You can always appeal any grade. I love your personality and I am fully persuaded that you will do big things in life young Queen👸🏾...💫🙏🏾
How is it going for you.
This happened to me, I failed nursing school twice so I understand being discourage and embarrassed but don’t quit. Some people were telling me to give up and I didn’t listen to them. So, I switched to a different nursing school and now I am about to graduate. If nursing is what you want to do keep going.
I will advise you to contact Mr Louis for some questions and answers which will help you pass your exam he helped me in passing my Nclex contact him through ; (518) 207-1139
This makes me so happy. Im not doing well..and I’m so embarrassed and disappointed in myself. I don’t want to disappoint my daughters. I hope I pass this term, but if I don’t I’m dismissed. It’s good to know that I will still be able to try to get into other schools

100% "What the hell is this- This is not what I studied?!!!" I felt that.
I just failed this fall semester of 2023 for the second time. Every feeling you have I have right now. I really don't know what to do and I currently have no job. 😞 Our stories are the same! My family is so supportive by the way I have a daughter by the way, I am single mother. I feel like not only did I let myself down but my family. They really want me to continue and I feel mentally checked out. It feels good to say this out loud in these comments. Thanks for creating a space for that. I might make a video when I get myself together.
Hey, I was in PN school and there were many times I wanted to drop out. Not only were the classes hard, I had nasty classmates. I’m telling you now, that if I can complete a nursing program you can do it too! I Also work with a friend who failed twice and now has her nursing license. You can do this! ❤
Hey love, it’s definitely a process that you’ll go through. Keep positive thoughts in your mind and pray. At times you will find yourself comparing yourself to other, but this is YOUR STORY! Get back up and try again!!! I know it’s easier said then done.. trust me I know !
You got this✨.
Thanks for all of yall encouraging words. I’m repeating the course right now. 💜
Girl , I feel you … I failed the BSN my second semester in the program . Applied to the ADN program got accepted and failed third semester .. I felt like my life was over , no job no nursing career.. I felt embarrassed, and dumb .. but seeing how others have gone through the same experience , it only gives me hope and motivation to continue on .. I told the dean of my nursing school that I am not quitting on Nursing, I am not quitting on my dream and passion..I told the dean that it doesn’t matter if it takes me a lifetime to become a nurse than so be it … But I will not give up .. I am now in the process of taking the Entrance exam TEAS , even if I have to start all over again , I know this will only make me a better student, a better person ..and a well prepared future nurse … because I will become a nurse .. in Jesus Name and so will you … Don’t give up .. keep trying
Currently in this position failed out nursing school 2x on may half point and no job. Still recovering from it
I went through this last December. It’s a grieving process, a lot of “I wish that was me” when you see your past classmates. Alot of trying to scrabble and find another career path to take. Having to tell your friends and family, feeling embarrassed and stupid. Finding your acceptance email or letter while cleaning 🤦🏾♀️I had my notes and books still open on my desk for weeks after I found out, It felt like someone died, I just found the courage to throw them out a few weeks ago. And I know it’s supposed to be cutthroat, nursing is tough but I really believe there should be counseling offered to students who fail out of any program like this, especially nursing. I just don’t think it’s okay to just tell someone that has put in so much work and sacrificed so much that they failed and that’s that. There’s no closure and it causes many people to fall into depression and an unhealthy spiral of emotions. Doesn’t seem like anyone cares that someone’s heart was just broken and dreams were crushed.
I failed twice and feeling embarrassed and don’t know what to do and thinking if nursing is for me it’s dream to. Become a RN and it’s now been crushed because a exam
I’m disappointed myself and everyone around me but I’m not giving up and I’m going to keep going
I agree I'm praying for you . I went into a depression and unfortunately a long year of dv and the cases that followed. Stay Blessed🙏🏿
I'm actually going through that right now. I been in nursing school for 2.5 years and the program is 18 months long. I have been in capstone twice and can't seem to pass the exit exam. I failed the exam q couple weeks ago by 1 question. I am so over this and wanna give up. I been praying and asking God what I should do and so far no answer. I think I will be giving it a rest for a while because I am mentally drained and I am 42 years old. I feel like I'm too old for this mess. All I keep hearing is " you got this" if I got this then why am I still here🤦🏾 but I can definitely relate. Thanks for sharing
It’s definitely a process . Keep going ! I’m know how you feel . By 1 question.. THAT’S CRAZY !! That 1 question don’t determine you . You got it
You are such a natural with TH-cam. I can really tell that this is just like your diary bc you just gave us a chaptered story.
I sympathize with you so much. I got to 4th semester of the RN program, and had to withdraw before I failed out. This all happened in November for me too. I was so depressed that I turned back to food as comfort and gained 50 lbs over the course of 4 months because I refused to find a silver lining. I’m back on track now, but I had to give myself some grace because prior to all of this, I’d never failed at anything.
I say all of that to say, you are more than a point. If you decide to go back or not, either way, please know that you will be a living example of resilience, not perfection. Praying for ya, friend!♥️
John Michael,
Thank you so much !
I remember you being in a program . Situations like yours is so heartbreaking and just WRONG! I’m happy that you got yourself back on the right track.
Keep it up and keep going great deeds for yourself and others . You motivate me and don’t even know it lol. We all see you running these streets 😆🏃🏽
Girl, I felt this in my soul and spirit. I recently withdrew from my second semester and am transition to lpn this summer I remember talking to people and them saying stick it out to the end. As much as I wanted to, I was physically and mentally burned out. I wanted to fight but I just needed a reset. You got this, it may not be your season but it will happen.
It’s so easy for people to say “Keep fighting”. Girl nursing school can murder your mental thoughts . Take you break and pick back up when you’re ready .
Nursing school will test you. its nothing like traditional college classes. Nursing school is a beast of its own, literally the hardest thing ive done, and worst experience of my life. but life as a Nurse and the salary to me was worth it in the end im on the west coast.
You are 100% real on that !!
Thanks for sharing your story. I failed out of my LPN school, and I also felt heart broken. I signed the documents to go back in to finish the course and they didn't had a seat for me to go back in to finish my 150 hours that I had left. And only 4 graduated out of 16th students. Now, I want to try a different school to do it again.
Girl totally fair😭 I failed chemistry twice, HOWEVER THAT THIRD TIME I got it (: I’m a fourth year neuroscience undergrad and my first semester of college I was place in highschool level math. Ended up working my way to calc 1 with all A’s. success isn’t linear. If your truly passionate take you time ♥️
This is so true💕, congratulations to you!
I will be getting my acceptance letter soon and was thinking of posting on social media. Seeing someone that I know who posted her acceptance letter and then having to explain herself on social media that she failed out really is making me second guess if I should be letting anyone know that I’m in nursing school. I graduated with three associate degrees from my community college last year for when I took my nursing prerequisites and I didn’t post about it because I wasn’t in the nursing program yet. But now I’m thinking I should really not let anyone know🧿 I’m a true believer in negative energy and the envious people waiting on your downfall. So best to just keep stuff a hush hush 🤫
Don’t let anyone know. Evil eye is a real thing.
This 🙌🏾
Don't quit, I went to nursing school after moving here from a different country, you can imagine people expecting you to fail but thank God I passed all my classes with flying colors in 2019, did my RN-BSN in 2020 and currently doing my masters science in nursing informatics, it is doable, hold your head up high and know who cheers you up and wants you to win. My strategy was always to study ahead of the class at all times and it would click and make sense during lectures in class.
I’m watching this and I feel your pain. I am currently going through the same thing. I had to withdraw for some sanity. Nursing school definitely makes you question everything about yourself. Completely kills your confidence, people don’t understand. You should try again when you are ready. You got this 💪🏾 and thank you for sharing your story ❤️
Girl, I'm 4 weeks into my LPN program and I'm going through the something. I find myself crying every day, I don't get any help, people are always in your business, the curriculum changes often, I just feel like I can't get ahead or organized. I'm still not sure if this is for me, I don't want to quit I'm not sure what to do at this point. Thanks for sharing your truth.
Leah , I know your struggles ! Just communicate with God 🙏🏾. I’m learning to trust the process
Did you become an LPN? Thinking about becoming an LPN.
Nursing school is so weird and unfair. In my school I’ve seen students fail out by .01 point. And I’ve seen students get curved by more than 20pts. Good luck ! Keep trying!
You will come back here one day with a testimony. Keep going. You got this girl.
Definitely calming it !
The accuracy in this video 💯💯💯 ... and yes they want to know your grades but not study with you... People are for self in nursing school more than we think. thank you for your transparency and realness!... don’t give up !! Always do practice questions not just book study ( not saying that’s all you did ) but test questions will have you looking cross eyed
When you’re done decompressing and accepting the fact that you had a setback, go back on the drawing board and start from scratch. I don’t know how you study for exams, but you should ASSESS your weak spot. Learn your strength and see what kind of a learner you are. Play with everything and try them out. Form a small group study where you can mentally dump what you already know (granted this option means you’re prepared and you finished studying the material), invest on a whiteboard, use mind maps. Learn how to active recall, and FOCUS on the ones that your teacher highlighted, but don’t forget to be thorough and study even the small ticket topics on the exam blueprint. Know which ones to memorize for select all that applies (assessments, signs and symptoms, interventions, diagnostics, etc.) and which one to UNDERSTAND (pathophysiology, lab values). THAT’S JUST HALF OF THE BATTLE. When you feel you’re ready, then you’re still not ready until you do 20 questions per day on the topic. Invest on question banks like sylvestri, NCLEX style comprehensive reviews, ATI, Uworld, simplenursing, etc. You may know the topic, but you have to know how to apply it in a scenario. If you can’t afford those question banks mentioned, you can google some free materials. You can’t wing that part coz those question banks test you for safety. Apply the maslow’s hierarchy and your ABCD’s (airway, breathing, circulation, disability, etc.). Look at the brighter side, you will learn the whole curriculum again in another light. Try to look at the silver lining of this situation, you’re not alone. Nursing school is supposed to be hard because we’re dealing with people’s lives. We’re the gate keepers to someone’s relatives and loved ones and we’re not just popping pills, we pause and think critically and see if we meet the parameters when we’re giving meds. That way, we know we’re safe and not causing harm to our patients.
The fact that you are straight to the point, I respect that ! I was able to learn that my struggles wasn’t happening to me.. but it happened FOR ME. For me to learn from my missing points and to push myself harder! I’m currently back in school in my second semester (only a few more weeks left) and I had to learn my study technique and what works for me along with practice questions.. literally the same things you said!!
I had a choice to sit in my sorrow or LEARN/GROW FROM IT !!
Thank you so much for your time and encouragement 🤍. I’ll definitely be back with an update after graduation 👩🏾⚕️.
@@THEREALVON23 good nurses are not just the only ones who make straight A’s. Good nurses are prudent and resilient, for their patients. Thank God your high spirits are back. You deserve a good mental break this Spring break. Good luck and God speed.
Nclex test is really frustrating, I can’t believe I failed again after studying so hard.
It’s such a mental thing 🤦🏾♀️
Wow, that’s not fair.
I’m really sorry about that but I got used to it until I succeeded, I failed 5 times before I finally passed, it would have been 6 but mr marcus saved me from failing again
I saw someone say he could be a scammer I couldn’t stop laughing, really people say a lot of shit these days .
he doesn’t have a Facebook page, instagram page or TH-cam channel, why’s that?
I think you should research nursing programs in your area and maybe visit the school and get some feedback from the students about how the program is. PLEASE do not quit! Examine the strategies you used in the previous programs and try to pivot to different ways to study. Try to latch onto the students who are doing well, even if you have to swallow your pride, Girl I'm rooting for you. Also look into community colleges and maybe try part time so you have a lighter coursework.
You can do it. I failed English 101 five times. Yes, I failed 5 times, but never gave up. That was the only class standing between me and my degree. Well, I finally passed and received my B.S. in Accounting. You can do it. Now, I am planning on going to nursing school. I've been running from it a long time. I will start a TH-cam channel for nursing. People need to hear it's not easy. Take care girly and keep going forward.
Maybe you should learn to speak proper English and maybe you will pass, that’s your problem.
@@lanedaw811 that’s really rude and uncalled for. I am actually shocked at how ignorant this comment is
@@huberthopscotch1285 well the truth is needed and is reality, do not post if you do want to see the truth. Ignorance is not a professional trait that is looked upon highly in nursing, matter of fact doctors do not want you taking care of their patients when you show/present as illiterate and unable to act or speak in a professional manner.
@@lanedaw811 You are the one who needs to speak proper English. The hypocrisy is astounding! You can not speak proper English but yet feel entitled to go around commenting such rude things about how others speak English. How sad. I suggest you get a life and English classes.
Hey my sister💞 Thanks for being transparent. You told everyone else out there not to quit, which means that you are no exception to that. Praying that God continues to lead you in the right direction. I love you & happy early bday✨♓️

Thank you for posting this video ... I’ve been crying about my first semester of nursing school. It’s not going so well, I’m on the cusp.
Stella , girl I know how you feel. I’ve cried so much before that I gave myself headaches! There’s SO MANY people who can’t relate, but there are a few who do . What I will tell you is to gather enough information as you can while you’re still in the program and learn from your mistakes!
You are not alone 💕.

You seem really really smart! I failed my second semester of school and can relate to your story. Most of the things you said I was like “omg, same!” Third time is a charm and you got this! Failures lead to being successful :)
Yes!! Failure leads to Success. Nothing is wrong with failing if you keep trying.
Thank you for sharing your story I’m going through something similar rn and I couldn’t agree more. Nursing school really kills your spirit and is so draining but I feel like it’ll be worth it in the end
Hope things get better for you.
This gives me hope I failed twice from an ADN-RN program.. I feel embarrassed and defeated.. after listening to your videos and comments from other people ..I feel I can do this .. I am actually thinking of applying to the LPN program and then later on transitioning when the time is right..
Whenever you’re ready! Don’t rush it and don’t take too long! Yes it’s embarrassing, but you’re not the first nor the last person that this has happened to. Take the LPN route! I bet things will be better!
I’m happy the video helped!
Hey thanks for sharing your story - your brave to talk about it - it is tough no doubt. I have been a RN and NP for years and the testing in nursing school is tough. If you want to go back have you given thought to getting some testing related to whether or not you may need some accommodations when testing (sometimes there is more going on than just making a low grade here). Sometimes students study and acutally know the content but cannot focus while test taking. Also - if you are over it and thinking about other careers have you thought about flight attendant? They are currently hiring. Your young, have a lot on the ball it appears, great personality, this is also a career which requires a lot more from its professionals that serving people (focus on safety and being good at handling people under stress). Plus there are some really great benefits to the job. -- Just thoughts. Either way - I wish you all the best!
Realness!! Love it honesty showing the real life experience journeys what people need to see and hear. LOVE THIS SO glad and happy to see your pinned videos 🤩🤩🥳you kept going and didnt give up. NurseTbounds!!!

I’m completely depressed I thought I was finally over it 4 months later but I would have been graduating in 2 month. I CANNOT stop grieving. Like it is never ending and I feel discarded completely.
Ohh no !! This is something that you’ll have to take your time and get through it ! It won’t leave your mind because it’s a truma. The advice that I would give you is to understand your mistakes and try again . I think you will continue to grieve if you do nothing about it . Please try I again, I’m trying again 🤍. I hope you will receive the help and motivation you need 🙏🏾. Everything happens for a reason !

With all do respect, don't give up on your passion! You will have an easier time to build on what you have already learned. Don't let all them gifts go to waste, for people need people like yourself, who actualy give a rats azz about the human race! Many be there 4 the checks only!!! Just do it like Nike! gurl, you will definitely be more prepared! There is nothing wrong with having grit! Yes, some have passed the first time go round; however, some may not share that they to have more character pertaining to their Nursing journey! Either way, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and so on, it do not matter how long it takes. What matters is how many chances you allow for yourself! Don't let embarrassment and others 1st time getting through the school, cheat and trick yourself out of your passion and dreams! I normally do not comment on videos but sum in my spirit said, the devil is a lie and put these phalanges to work! New subbie 4 sure!
Wendy,
This was well needed ! I appreciate your bold and honest words. Like Nike ,
“JUST DO IT” .. with that being said , I’m trying again !
Thank you 😊
I'm so happy 4 you in advanced!
Im in nursing school now, its so hard. I can’t wait until its over. I pray the best for you.
Your system is your output. if you failed, then your system to learn and study was the problem. stop focusing on the goal, focus on the system that gets you to the goal.
You are very strong to voice your nursing school experience, it really helped me as I can relate. Whatever you decide to do I know you will be happy with your work and career one day looking back. Keep going!

So true everybody wants to know your grade . I tell them get out my face . Grades are a personal thing . Don’t tell them your grade . I always tell them I got 70 and 60

Thank you for sharing, I want to be an RN so bad but the way I ducked up community college credits ima have to reduce a lot in a different school. But thank you for reminding not to give up❤

I’m my experience it’s best to just finish the semester even if you know you’re gonna fail… just to get the education and experience so you’ll be prepped for next time
Wow, that's so different from my experience, but it is a good way to get more information for the future.
Best of luck darling, never give up! You got this! ❤️

I failed twice as well. Finally graduated may2023. Don’t give up
I failed two classes last semester and I have been depressed ever since. The worst part of it is that am an international student. I don't know where to start, have spent over $75k in the programme and I have nothing to show for it. LIFE SUCKS RIGHT NOW
🥺 I know the feeling , but everything happens for a reason ! Keep trying ‼️ definitely sending prayers
I failed out this past Monday after a second time...I'm so embarrassed, hurt, and just an emotional mess right now.
Shay I understand how you feel and what you’re thinking ! Everything happens for a ready and I you should learn from your mistakes or whatever happen ! It will make you become a better person 🤍
I was just dismissed from my nursing school and now my gpa is low and don’t know if any other university is going to accept me 😔
It’s the worst ever!! Take some time to yourself and look around for other schools. You may have to go to a community college.
Never give up! Believe in yourself!
It is happening to me right now! The teacher was saying she here to help me but when come when I needed help she just throw me under the bus.
Did you go to a private school?? They are the worst! Find a nice tech school. I’m currently in the second semester of my nursing program and we have to maintain a 70% to stay in the program. Every time I hear someone say “we are required to maintain a 80%” it’s always a private school! It’s all about money with them at the end of the day. Don’t give up! You got this mamas 😘
Private School ? No. I wish a 70% was an option 😭 lol .
Good luck in your journey and I’m sure you’ll make a great nurse . Thanks babe 😘

I’ve been dismissed by nursing program, had to repeat class in prerequisites and 1 nursing class. My nursing journey has not been easy; but by the grace of God I’m continuing the journey and so can you. What helped me heal from failure is knowing that God loves me no matter my success or failure in life - I’m His daughter and nothing changes that. Proverbs 3:6 to acknowledge Him in all you do and He shall direct your path. I have to ask God to direct my path through my failure and success, He does, and that’s how I keep my peace.
That’s for sharing 🤍. Well needed !
I have same experiences withdrew in feb. I analyzed we don’t use enough resources out and it depends on instructor some of it. But if we understand rationals than it means we progress ourselves to next level.
Fact 🙌🏾!!
Don’t give up!!! You can do this!!
Just got kicked out 2 days ago due to academics. OB I FAILED twice. I can’t believe it. I was on my way to my last term. Still in shock. All I can do is keep grinding and trying. Have to find another program but I REALLY don’t wanna start from the beginning. I just don’t no. The pain is real. Just have to take it one day at a time
Appeal or find another program. Look for question banks with RATIONALS! The rational are the key. Don't try to memorize questions, understand the way that you are supposed to be thinking. And always ALWAYS remember your ABCs. If the difference between 2 answers is 1 of the ABCs, you are always responding to the ABCs.
I understand how felt! I also made a video about my experience because girl, nursing school is not easy!
No lies here I was in an lpn class online we did a group study all these girls did was talk about people I got out that group . I also failed twice in one school i was thinking about going back to another school but i dont want to keep taking out student loans . Right now I'm not sure what I want to do.
Kiwi, take your time and get yourself together . Taking a break isn’t a bad idea, I’m in that process now and I feel really go ! Everyone isn’t for you.. I learned that the hard way !
LPN ONLINE? THEY HAVE THAT?
i know the exact feeling.. you dont feel good when the final come, the bad feeling and kind of discouraged.. eventhough you studied but you know you are not gone pass it... recently i kicked from R.N nursing school and i have only 3 months ago... i failed all 2 subjects.. but i kind of studied. but test anxiety was low.. feels like "ooo you know that you gone fail these test..." still the mind and heart is numb..
I know the exact feeling. Understand that this is just a season
"THIS TO SHALL PASS". Learn from your mistakes and try again.
Keep on trying, a lot of people fail more than twice, they will not tell you.
Don’t give up new subscriber 💕
i’m sad i dropped out of college but i really couldn’t do anymore of anything nursing related and now i still don’t know what to doo but at least now ik it’s not for me 😞

Thanks for sharing your story, you are amazing and I was grateful to hear you. I have a question. If I withdrew from nursing because I was failing then got accepted back and passed first semester but then failed second semester. As far as my school go, they only allow two times into nursing school then we wouldn’t be able to return. I was wondering would they include withdrawing at a failing state as the first time failing nursing school. I need to know because I’m trying to reapply and hoping I get accepted back this Spring of 2024? Your advice would be gratefully appreciated! I live in the state of New York by the way
Thanks babe!
My school did count withdrawals the same as a fail or attempts, but it didn’t hurt my GPA. I got a W instead of an F. I thought that was the end for my nursing journey, but by the Grace of God I go accepted again. So I would advised you to apply again and see what happens. Apply to multiple programs.
@@THEREALVON23 my instructor that’s apart of the committee that approves students to come back said I had a good chance of coming back, and for readmitting students “we would need a gpa of a 2.0”. My gpa went from 3.11 to 2.03 and I qualify to get in with that gpa but I’m not sure if they’ll going to accept me back. I’m overwhelmed with thinking about it so I constantly pray 🙏🏽, thank you, your the best❤
Be strong. ❤
Time management is makes people think nursing is hard.. u gotta know how to manage your time
Time management and mental health are really important when it comes to nursing school .
Girl take this mental break for yourself right now because nursing school can be .. whew chile! But at the end of the day, if your heart still leads you back to nursing, follow your heart❤️ However, I know you will do great no matter what you decide in your future endeavors
Girl yes ! it’s something else lol.
A break is definitely NEEDED! Thanks boo💗
After writing my NCLEX twice, I finally made it the thrid time with the great help of Mr. kendrick
