Trip suggestion: the American military cemetery in Margraten (Limburg province). During the summer season with leaves on the trees absolutely worth a visit. Very impressive and emotional to see the names of 10,000 American soldiers who gave their lives for the liberation of The Netherlands and Belgium. The historic and attractive town of Valkenburg is nearby, the two destination can be visited in one day.
If you like the the view of the "Utrechtse heuvelrug" you could have combined your trip with a visit to the watchtower in the Kaapse bossen in Doorn, Just a few miles away, nice walk and a beautiful view.

a donkey is a ezel ! We have a pyramid, O it is the France, we did not appreciate being French. i know the hunnebergen in Drenthe those are pretty cool (stuff like stone hegde period stones like in UK ) it's the Netherland, you wake up with sun in your face, by the time your out of the shower you have rain, after breakfast its sunny you step outside and get rained on welcome to the Netherlands.
I have never seen that pyramid, during the holidays worth looking at👌. And you can immediately see that it was built by the French, when we built it the 'tower' would have stood upright😜
When Napoleon conquered the Dutch Republic he made Amsterdam officialy the second capital of his empire, and installed his brother as king of "the kingdom of HOLLAND" (the Netherlands was the only and first federal republic , so before the French revolution and he admired the dutch republic. (And made it a kingdom with relativ independence) His brother went too far in integrating with the Dutch and had to abdicate his crown, after HOLLAND became just a part of the French empire. (Not for long though) After the defeat of Napoleon the Dutch became the kingdom of the Netherlands with the son of the latest stateholder Willem the fifth of Orange (who earlier fled to England) Anyway The Netherlands was a republic long before all that. (And it typically still is)
Hi Nate, it's not just donkeys outside 😎. But um, how were those pancakes? By the way, you're right about the weather, which has been very mediocre this year so far. Luckily you have two umbrellas (in the car).
Piramide of Austerlitz was built by the army of Napoleon 😊 In whales they built a mountain! There is a movie about it called: The Englishman went up a hill and came down a mountain. About a group of survivors measuring the mounting in Whales. One mountain fell short, so it was degraded to a hill. The locals weren’t happy about this and decided to fill up the hill, so it becomes a mountain again! This was about a hundred year ago. During the filming they measured the mountain again and found out the ground level went down to a hill. The locals repeat the hole process making it a mountain 😅 th-cam.com/video/u_QIqY-N93w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EM6Gjnf1GyFJ9kT3
The Netherlands history was Celts, Germanic Tribes, Roman, the Frankish and Frisian kingdoms, Burgundian, Habsburg, Spanish Habsburg Netherlands, Dutch Republic, Batavian Republic, United kingdom of the Netherland and kingdom of the Netherlands

Omg! This is so cool! A weird pyrimid in the Netherlands 😮🥰 I would love to try that pineapple pancake. It lookd amazing!

Thanks for watching along!
Children and drunk people 🤣🤣🤦 spot on.
😂
The highest point from the Netherlands is on Saba, because that belongs to the Netherlands. Kind regards, Roelof from the Netherlands.
Thanks for watching!
nice and interesting video again, shame about the rain, but it's no different here
You would think we would be used to it by now. 😂
Saint Alphonso''s pancakes are the best.😊

It wasn’t French territory, it was Dutch occupied by the French.

Napoleon didn't conquer the United Provinces. Pichegru and Daendels did in 1795.

I guess we are just very Dutch now because we aren’t using umbrellas in the rain anymore (although, not by choice.) 😂 Thanks for watching!

Is that the Austerlitz where the French lost a battle?
*Won. It's considered one of Napoleon's greatest military feats.
@@johannes.f.r. Indeed, I mistaken with Waterloo, isn't it? Thanks for the correction.

soldiers of the army send there by napoleon, they were bordered and so dug the pyramid
Pyramide van Austerlitz -> remembrance of Napoleon’s presence in our country

Hopefully you didn’t close the window because (spoiler alert) there’s no controlled substances in these pancakes. 😝
