Exactly it's amazing to see his transparency
It's really frustrating that he isn't more popular than he is.
I see so many comments from people saying "he's too negative" or "he takes the fun out of it" but they don't understand that he is simply calling it as he sees it. He tells us the good and the bad and let's us decide if it's worth it.
I love this man's honesty and I have learned alot from him. And saved much money.

@@mattw.433 100 percent I guess because he doesn’t kiss ass and sucks up to these companies when they put out crappy figure, like other reviews (prime) how can he take the joy out of collecting. I have honestly brought a couple of items because he said they were good and I also have brought items because I loved them but Anthony said they sucked. At the end of the day it is his opinion but he is helping us. Keep doing a excellent job sir. Your loyal fan will be here to support.

It's funny that he said stuff about shot glass and people buying loot crates for kids - I'm scouring youtube watching loot/monthly box reviews and he pulls that out ha.
As someone that is into Trigun, i can confirm they are indeed dope.
I finished the show the other day, was a great watch.
The used shot glass, lack of information provided to you, and unsealed box make me wonder feel like this crate was some kind of weird anti-prank

If they included like one or 2 random prize figures or something it might have some value, but I dont know of any otaku's that want shot glasses and enamel pins.

Loot crates don’t give as much as they used to. We get slim pickings now. I used to get excited for them. Now it’s just, meh. Good video on a terrible product. I’ll definitely stay away from that crate.
Loot crate was always a terrible product I have no idea why people were even into being sent random crap that may or may not have been any good in the first place
@@MrLeerolljankins well I got into it because I never bought any of this stuff like paying 20$ for some little toy figure that’s nuts to me I’ve got grownup crap to spend money on but 30 $ on a box that has two or there cool little things from shows I like and two to three things from shows I now have a reason to look up and watch it was fun and exciting the only figures I own came from a loot anime and I love them but now it’s one cool thing you want and two things from shows that I can’t be bothered to watch plus a lame t shirt that I don’t even want I kinda want to get more figures but even now I look at the hundreds of options and I’m just like none of this is worth what there selling it for

I think there is so much anime that they try to include unique or lesser known anime to impress the hard core fans. If you don’t know the anime your less likely to enjoy the item. I’m with you the glasses are cool the rest is booty.

Loot crates have always been bad.
Some aren't but most are and if you buy them you waste your money most of the time, I like how he is honest and says it's a scam even if he was "sponsored" by them

Get loot anime fury instead. It’s all from one show so you know what you are getting. The last one was Black Clover and it was pretty good.
My wife and I use to get Lootcrate all the time. Halo, Fallout, Godzilla, ect...actually good stuff. But we canceled after getting multiple items over and over and when the bulk of the items are garbage or a "meh" shirt. I thought they had went out of business a few years ago...

I admit the only loot crate boxes i buy are the neca ones with the tmnt action figures in them. That's it and so far i haven't been disappointed. I don't plan on buying anything else.

Trigun is an awesome anime its up there with outlaw star and cowboy bebop. I recommend giving it a watch. The glasses looks cool. I'm sure it would fit well for a cosplayer.

Apparently those glasses were released just this month from Chrunchyroll and are worth a whopping $130.... I would say you got quite the box there for only $30

Glad that the only crate I bought were the TMNT ones which I had an idea beforehand for at least one if the items (action figure) I was getting and hopefully the other items are cool but I’ve never seen a crate unboxing yet where I actually liked more than 1 item.

You are right about the Loot Anime and Crunchy Roll Box they have cheep simple stuff ! To be honest. There isn't an awesome Anime Box's ( after Otakuo ). There is Anime Box Club. But most of its stuff is (bootlaged) .. Great post 👍👍👍 Keep it up

I’m actually surprised they labeled the shot glass as. “Shot Glass.” Whenever I’d gotten one in the past, they’d always called it a “toothpick holder” or some shit. This box is a turd, and I appreciate Anthony treating it as such

Selling out would be him saying that everything he reviews even this loot crate was "Amazing!" That's selling out. Having a company contract you to review their product and you giving an honest review that's not selling out.
Also Anthony said it countless times he haves no problem being extremely blunt if somethings good he'll say it if it's not he would say it. Yeah he gets "paid" if people sub to the loot crate but like he said he won't recommend it given the wasn't any value to it to justify anyone paying the price for what was included in the box.

This looks like generic stuff you can buy at Hot topic for half the price. Honestly this is why loot crate failed as a company. They first started great but now got cheaper and cheaper with their products.
