Nice tank and beautiful fish, thanks for sharing. Festae, green terror and Jaguar are my favorite fish its good to see them all together. Good job with the camera aswell.
This tank was put together by someone that has a true eye for beauty, and there's a lot of work here, to make something like happen. You don't just throw fish like this in a tank and they get along. Beautiful tank Nathan! I feel for you if watched these fish grow up and then had to break this tank down. What plants did you use? Surprised Oscars are not ripping them apart.
The lighting is Hagen power-glo t5 2 x 3ft with Hagen marine-glo t5 2 x 3ft,side by side Initially I was expecting a bit more from the lighting but looking back it really did show up the fish really well.
Beautiful tank! Can I ask what lighting do you use as I have the same size tank and am wondering what I should buy to upgrade my current lighting which is from my old 4ft tank..
I got it at a store in Melbourne Australia - Amazing Amazon, they have some really good pieces of driftwood, but they aren't cheap. Thanks for the comment.
+Justin Smith hey mate, nah they are fake plants. Whether the plants are real or fake they will uproot them up, and with the live plants they'll tear them apart. if you want to keep the fake plants in place you need to silicon or glue (using something that is fish safe) the plant base on to a medium or large ceramic tile. Then cover the tile and base of the plant with gravel and/or rocks. The tile having a much larger surface area than the normal plant base will make it a lot harder for the fish to uproot. Saying that they will still try and probably succeed in pulling some of the leaves off but the majority of the plant should remain in place.

Are those live plants? Do you have problems with them uprooting them?
