Hey @CCxRC - did you solder the Motor wires while the ESC in place? Just been fiddling about trying to get mine in place and I think I might solder the wires in before sticking it down. Love the Videos!

I just so happen to have an rc that’s almost 2 decades old that I’m restoring and uses those exact size flanged pipes . Still waiting for my smt10 in the mail and wanted to save some extra bucks just incase the kit had extras. Thanks bro !
I was going to purchase this but it's of low quality cheap plastic infested parts. You need to spend and buy a lot of aftermarket parts to make this model better, a real shame. I saw/read half a dozen reviews on SMT10 Raw builders kit and the guys always broke something ever so easily.
Then he’s not driving it right. These aren’t meant to be bashed like an Arrma or Traxxas. These are scale solid axle trucks. The axles will break. Most solid axles truck axles will break. Most metal solid axles are upgrades except the Vanquish VS4-10 crawler. I put metal tube is my axles for $15 and it helps solve that problem. The transmission is steel gears in this. These are great trucks and an absolute joy to run and race. If you want a big air basher...this is not the truck for you unless you heavily upgrade it. I have 4 of them and show how to upgrade them to make them more reliable. But the plastic parts other thank the links are fine. The bevel gears on the axles should be replaced soon especially if you upgrade to large wheels. They will start to strip when run brushless with big/heavy wheels to start and stop.

Mine came pre-soldered. You will want to solder before installing

CCxRC they weren’t even bashing it around, that’s what I mean. It’s of cheap quality compared to other models in that price range.
What other models of this price range though? A 200 dollar kit? With an actual scale monster truck roll cage too ? Haven’t seen one
