Honestly, Tem really shouldn't have died. He was such a nice person. I get they needed a plot to set up the story, but I feel like Tem's death wasn't needed. 😢

Here's one thing im just now realizing. Haru almost got raped & murdered by psychopathic mob boss , Legoshi only person who saved her but people only care if he slept with her ? If that's not showing how much he changed , then I don't know what else you want me to say.
I really love how they made Legoshi so awkward sometimes unlike some anime guys that literally act like they would say “work out 50 hours a day to build stamina and assert dominance” Edit: I thought about it and Legoshi did what i just used as a stupid and sarcastic example.
The incident with the anteater and panther was the sadest for me because it was just a accident but it was still a horrifying experience for the both of them I'm glad they were able to make amends.
When you think about it, it's kinda hard to make a very stable society when you are an antropomorphic creature. One hand, you have the herbivores, some people who ate only leaf and plants, and the other hand, you have the carnivores, who can only eat the flesh of other animals. that must be a nightmare to live in these conditions : scared to be eaten alive or scaring everyone and considering as a monster.
What about those who eat both, though? Surely they feel pressure from both ends. Being seen as a dangerous monster, as well as not being seen as a true predator.
Beastars is the first anime I have really enjoyed since Cowboy Bebop. There is just something I like about that "Realistic" anime style. If you can really call an anime about Anthropomorphic animals "realistic".
