@@Josh-nv8gp nope, not sarcastically haha. Always hard to tell online. I've only smelled AHS sport once and thought to myself "yup, this is just like VPH" or atleast I smelled a lot of similarity. Just a one timer though with AHS. What I'm trying to say is that although I've smelled both and can say they are indeed similar (to me), you seem to have more experience with them both so I did infact appreciate your insight of saying that VPH is the fresher of the two. Furthermore I can see why you don't consider them that much alike, in their complexities like the creaminess that AHS has and projection and such, and hey, more compliments is a plus. I remember thinking when I smelled AHS that it was better put together, more classy and refined. It's just that to my fairly noob nose, the scent profile is very similar, atleast in the early stages.
Great list my guy. I love Y Parfum. I bought the EDP, but wish I would’ve gotten the Parfum instead. I don’t really care for the EDP as much as I thought I would. Sauvage Parfum is my jam as well. I don’t reach for it much but I know that I can always get a good reaction when I wear it. I have to try Eros Parfum. I have the EDP, I like it, but I don’t wear it much. I think I tend to like the Parfum versions of fragrances more than the other concentrations. On a side note, you’re the first person that I’ve ever heard mention VS Platinum. My wife bought it for years ago. I forgot that I had it until I went through some old fragrances I had in the cabinet in the bathroom. Lol. It’s surprisingly good. I probably will never wear it, but it’s cool to see you mention a fragrance that NEVER gets mentioned. Lol. Holla.

Great video! I’ve come to appreciate Dior Homme 2020 as well. I was wondering if maybe you could do your top citrus fresh scents? I’ve been looking for a more high end citrusy fragrance for this upcoming summer. I’ve been looking at Tom Fords private blend blue bottle fragrances and Costa Azzurra that is now on the signature line.

Eros Parfum has no apple and mint but Elemi, Pepper, Lavender and other changes which makes it such a great upgrade compared to the OG and EdP because its smoother, spicer and warmer as they got rid of the spring-summer-fragrance sharp citrus mint combo.
I want to thank you & Demi Rawling for introducing me to PDM. I started with Herod (legit my fave fragrance by a pretty big margin) & from there Layton. Thank you very much, I doubt I'd ever have jumped into niche without your consistent videos backing up PDM's hype.

Chrome Sport is Versace Man Eau Fraiche on a budget👌🏽 I bought a 100ml bottle a few years ago from FragranceX for $20 and til today it’s one of my most complimented summer fragrances in my collection 💪🏼 on a side note, Versace Eros EDP > Eros Parfum 💯

Can you make a list of fragrances that is top on each genre or line. For example, one that is best in fresh frag, one best in fruity, best in blue, best in coffee, best in ambroxan heavy, best oriental, best in oceanic, best in sweet fragrances, best in leather etc. One common denominatore is that, they are all long lasting, or compliment getter. Technically top ten best on their genre. So what we can expect on the video is that each of those fragrances are not the same. Does it make sense? I hope it is. Haha
I don’t understand the desire to wear “challenging” fragrances. I wear cologne so that I am pleasant to be around and so that I have a reputation among my friends and coworkers as “the guy that always smells good”. I would rather wear Sauvage every single day (I don’t but I’m just using it as an example), rather than risk people being off-put by me by trying to wear some cat piss smelling Montale that YTers say is so amazing lol

I don't know about dior homme 2020 performance. It smells nice but i have feeling that it doesn't project after 2 hours on my skin. I don't know if it is weak or my nose is blind.
A good substitute for Layton would be Armani code absolu the quality and performance of the fragrance is just as good. I find my self reaching for it way more often then Layton. They smell similar with Layton being more spicy fresh and absolu being creamier

Sauvage PARFUM is a beast mode smell .. I wear this to work 2 sprays, bars 1 spray, YES even to the club I sprayed 3 and WOW .. I got maybe 7 compliments from the club with this smell ... it's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and HIGHLY RECOMMEND to people to buy this one .. and I AGREE for work 2 sprays and to the bars 1 spray and club 3 sprays .. its strong but in a good way people, GET THE DIOR SAUVAGE PARFUM 😎 wont fail ..

YSL Y Le Parfum is absolute fire. No other scent has garnered more compliments for me. Even “macho” dudes have commented. Great list here!
I’m upset I returned this one for the EDP. After testing Le Parfum on me I like it way more than the EDP.

I recommend JPG’s Le Male Le Parfum or Ultra Male. Sweet vanilla fragrances. Ultra Male has a strong pear 🍐 note, as well.
