"We fell into it; like a daydream, or a fever". These words will haunt me until my last day. I've fallen many times, and gotten back up once more each time. But since the first time, I have been different. It truly is like a daydream, or a fever. I don't know who I'm writing this to, maybe no one. I am drunk now. I feel as though I've been watching the world crumble around me in slow motion. What bothers me most is the beauty. Our lives are the balance of beauty and tragedy. Godspeed, friends.

I am right here within this duality. I see The Duality. Life is so horrendous and divine; Vile and Benevolent. Beautiful storms erase memories.. Calm waters can smother those who do not belong.. Child birth is wondrous pain. Losing something can help you gain another.
Our egos have us trying to contort our surroundings around our comfort. That only creates stress, because you can't change everything. Instead, we need to start understanding that life may not *look* how we thought and conform to Find your comfort. We can't avoid The Duality, but we can ride it like a wave.

The car is on fire, and there's no driver at the wheel
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
    And a dark wind blows
    The government is corrupt
And we're on so many drugs
With the radio on and the curtains drawn
We're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
And the machine is bleeding to death
    The sun has fallen down
And the billboards are all leering
And the flags are all dead at the top of their poles
    It went like this:
The buildings tumbled in on themselves
    Mothers clutching babies
    Picked through the rubble
    And pulled out their hair
The skyline was beautiful on fire
    All twisted metal stretching upwards
Everything washed in a thin orange haze
    I said, "Kiss me, you're beautiful -
These are truly the last days"
    You grabbed my hand
    And we fell into it
    Like a daydream
    Or a fever
We woke up one morning and fell a little further down
For sure it's the valley of death
    I open up my wallet
    And it's full of blood

Post modernism or capitalist realism either way works. The hyper progression of capitalism in the western world will lead to the collapse of itself. Natural disasters are more rampant then ever. The earth is fighting back with the same fire we burn. the skyline was beautiful on fire

For an anthem of 2020 check out Titus Andronicus “I Blame Society” it was written at the end of 2018. “While they refine the virus that makes us obsolete”
“I'm not sick, it's the world that is, they're hiding their disease
Behind a giant sign that's twice the Size of life as we perceive it to be. This sign I describe, it reads: "In silence, you are free"
That's how they try to tie and
Tightly bind us, reclined in our seats, oh my
They think that we are spineless, I think they are all cheats
It seems the Earth is speeding swiftly towards a grave catastrophe“
