I saw them at The Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, TN. They started their set with about 15 minutes of droning noises (some of the noises were pre-recorded and started before anyone was even on the stage), which eventually went into Mladic. They also played Moya, their newest song (which has been labeled "Behemoth" on the interwebs), another seemingly endless array of droning noises (which I thought was amazing), and ended the set with Gathering Storm. The show was absolutely incredible and LOUD!
It's exciting. It's an adventure to pick something up based purely off the art, not knowing quite what you're gonna hear when you spin it. To have that adventure with a band like Godspeed... I did, with F# A# Infinity, and will never regret the moment I found noise so beautiful that I'd never even tried to imagine it.

I have not heard the early live versions, so I cannot comment on that; however, I saw them perform this song at Pitchfork 2012 in Chicago and it was incredible.
