There is two bulb for turn signal each side so the side that is making too fast turn light, one of the bulb gone bad and only one bulb is working and one is bad check it out.
For that fast turn signal - check for LEDs in one of the lights. I put LED turn signals in my '17 F350 and it did the same. All of the lights blinked at normal speed outside, but the indicator was fast. A LED resistor in parallel with the turn signals (spliced into the harness just behind the bulb socket) stopped it.
I blasted thru your area about 2 PM on Monday after dropping a load of AC's on Long Island. I nearly passed a state trooper who had what I assume was portable scales on a rack mounted to his trailer hitch. He turned off at exit 52 so maybe he was headed to the turnpike. Check the bulbs for your turn signals. They will flash like that if one of the bulbs is a LED instead of a standard bulb - or at least that's how it works on the older trucks. The newer trucks might be all LED. When I put the flatbed on my truck, I had to replace the flasher unit with one compatible with LED bulbs because the flatbed bulbs are all LED's.
Steve on the blinker issue check the plugs on your bulbs. Make sure that they are connectedon my Ford truck did the same thing and it was a bad connection. I lose connection.
The pa turnpike fines you the second you pull on with the crazy expensive tolls. Especially with a trailer. Everytime I take it I see trucks and cars pulled over. Sometimes its packed with cops.
Department of transport requires lights every so many feet on the trailer,, in Canada. We have a lot of differences in our department of transportation laws. & Yours. Ours is Canada wide. If you have a rust hole in your vehicle anywhere they can pull it off the road
Mine's for a square receiver. I still have the one from my Kaufman but I'm not going to swap it on a leased unit. I'll run what I've got until I buy my own
you should tarp over the front of the pipes so the air going through the pipes can make the trailer pick up in the rear and start to wonder on the road
Hi Steve, How much tongue weight does the 40 ft trailer transfer to you truck? What is your truck’s GVWR? I have a 36 ft trailer and it transferred 1700lbs of tongue weight to my Ford F-250 Super duty truck which limits the weight I can transport? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

You definitely up your chances of getting by BUT it's how much of a percentage? Nobody knows. All of them are different so even if you get an answer from one the next guy up the road has a different one. All I know is I've only ever had issues on the main highways. Turnpikes never. Might just be one of those if you happen to be speeding or something is obvious they'll get you. On 81 they don't care. They'll pull you just for existing
MY Ford F350 IS all LED and it blinks fast in dash ,but normal out side. I have a white crew cab,,longbed,,camper special,,has a better suspension & much better ride than my F-450.""I jus mash on it all day ,,lol.---now that noise you here sounds messed up-! stay safe & dont give your money to da MAN !!🤓👍🇺🇸.
You can buy a blinker relay made for LED's. It's behind the area where the ash tray is. You can see the 4 relays from the fuse panel access area, but you can't remove it from there. It's a real joy to get to!
Hi bro whatcha up to hope all is well prayers 4 healing and unspoken also prayers 4 everyone and bless great healthy peaceful safe journeys travels and happy hauling in the name of the Creator God and Jesus and the Holy Ghost Amen much honor and respect keep walking tall cool cool load keep on keeping on and keep walking tall 🚌🌅🌌⛺🌄🏞🏖 👍👍💪🙂👍👍
His ear loops probably can whistle like those pipes
I know it is a lot of work but I really enjoy the videos more often than one a week thanks keep up the good work

I will be at Tennessee tomorrow as well have a good trip
Some drivers pu a tarp over the open pipe( some places require it) but it kills your fuel mileage.
Hear the same noise in my Western Star.

Steve your videos are amazing. God bless you
I always get my fuel at Bedford sheetzs or off exit 91.They built a new Sheetz, they are easy to get into,I never pay that high price on the Turnpike.

Unless you cruising west before Breezewood they always bother trucks at the bottom of that hill.🤣🤪

I just put LED in the rear of my 01 F-250 and now my turn signals do the same thing so I would check for an LED buld

Question did you check the 3 brake light on the top off the roof this always happens to me
You can get a fifth wheel pin and plate i have one for the same brand trailer
Mine's for a square receiver. I still have the one from my Kaufman but I'm not going to swap it on a leased unit. I'll run what I've got until I buy my own
Always put a twist in you straps to stop them from vibrating / flapping.
you should tarp over the front of the pipes so the air going through the pipes can make the trailer pick up in the rear and start to wonder on the road
Then you lose fuel mileage and add work for no reason. It only went 3 hours up the road
Corrosion in one of the turnsingle bulbs
Driving through IL yesterday 10/3
I seen about 10 dot officers in middle of median within a 3-4 trip ☠️
i have a 150 around the same year and it does the fast blinking thing SOMEtimes it hasn't caused a problem really but i don't know what it is
What was the weight ? For the load?
I don't know if I ever weighed this load
Haha those pipes ! sounds like you driving in a Tesla 🤣
A strap every 3 to 4 foot whether you need it or not will save you alot of trouble and go a long way with the DOT. Should be mandatory in my opinion.
The fuse for your blinkers is about to go out
Needed more and better placement on the straps. Stay safe
Hi Steve does shipping freight pays more then hauling cars
Absolutely
If you had a choice would you prefer an older dually like 2005 and back, or would you get a newer 2500 for hotshot?
Always have to pick a dually. I'm going back to one in a few weeks

Thanks. That was helpful. I wish you the best in the business.
If you tarp the front of the load no noise
and reduced fuel mileage.... No thank you!
Hey bro, How much your trailer weigh empty?
Trailer was probably 8400 if I remember correctly. Can't remember what the combination was.
Next truck guess...
Ram 5500 g56
Next time put a tarp on the front of the tubes. No noise!!!
Cool..
What makes that non-CDL?
Being under 26,001 pounds actual weight and rated weight. This setup is 23,700 gcwr.
Furst runner up 😊
I could never get a clear answer if the State cops on the turnpike do commercial enforcement or not. I've seen them have semis pulled over before.

Gear jammer 😂😂👍
NON CDL
Have you ever noticed the guys hauling these loads put a tarp or net to stop the "Singing".
Lots of extra work to lose mpg
Are you over 65 feet?
Absolutely
Drove OTR for 15 years, DOT sucks.
That whistling would be annoying for sure !
You use an eld
Never touched on in my life. My last truck was paper logs so I have the Keep Truckin app for this one
Nice Load

Are you not over 26k pounds??
No
No need for the foul language
I'll do it again. Don't ever go into a mechanic shop if that bothers you.
