    How odd that indeed you had a slip on the sticking in #7 and yet proceeded to employ it in all applications. To proceed with this as a student will instill a completely incorrect muscle memory system and amending it would be frustrating to say the least. Is it your intention to address the matter in part two and recommend that those that followed Pt.1 need to go back over and correct your error? Time is precious.

    • @JuanCarlitoMendoza
      @JuanCarlitoMendoza  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Part 2 will be out in a few mins and I address your point in Part 2. As far as “incorrect muscle memory” your statement is correct and incorrect: if we are talking about the playing the same patterns over and over again, yes I agree with you, BUT what happens if you make a mistake on the gig? Most people/students will stop instead of finding a way to recover. In addition, the incorrect sticking that I did present is one that you’ll have to play eventually, so learning how to get in and out of patterns using the “incorrect” sticking is something a student will have to learn anyway. I honestly don’t think it’s a hindrance in a student’s learning/vocabulary, just another set up motions to learn that are necessary anyway. Thanks for the comment and I agree time is precious (trust me I know) but the student will have to learn the other patterns down the round. Here’s part 2. th-cam.com/video/pY-WeSb1_ss/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uXUlHL0gR3kEESY7 and again thanks for your thoughts and comment! Appreciate it.
